I love that case. My fav case of all time. Quality and pretty. That display looks fantastic
@westfield90 display is much better that the magnetic one Phanteks were offering themselves, gap between the PSU shroud and glass panel was screaming out for something to go on there.
Cooool! Maybe consider adding the NV5 Premium D-RGB Kit, it bumps it up a notch.
looks so clean
OMG SO NICE. I WILL BUY THE SAME
Hey man, mind sharing which ROG template that is or where to get it? Looks amazing and fits my build perfectly!
@DavroarTV have a look at the forum linked below, you can do a search on it for 1920x480 and should come up with loads that people are sharing, that's where I got mine from...

@@BrisyTechBytes yeah I saw the link but it was over 500 pages and it gives me error if I dig too deep. Ill try to figure it out later today, thanks anyway
@DavroarTV try this link, should be the direct post on the forum where you can dl the zip file...

@@BrisyTechBytes Thanks a lot mate! Much appreciated!
Nice job
Hi bud cracking video. I just built very similar build in nv5 to yours for my son. Only difference is I'm using sl v2 fans. Just wondering if you had to take radiator out to fit the argb kit at top. As I just ordered one cheers 😊
Thanks much appreciated.
I bought everything for this build at the same time so managed to fit the RGB kit first, should still be possible to do without removing the top radiator though...hopefully 🤣
Hope your son is enjoying the new rig 👍
Great idea!! Thanks
Great Job!
what sort of RGB strip are you using? it matches the case perfectly
@@PatRock1983 that's the NV5 Premium D-RGB kit 👌
Thanks a lot!
Do you know how to install infinity fans to the same caseUNI FAN SL-INF 120 LIAN LI ? I’m not sure how to do this as I don’t want to use the RGB button on the case and I learned connecting them to the motherboard with one of the cables stops the buttons working.
@@jmurray2018 the Lian Li fans will come with a hub that connects to an internal USB header, then you can use Lian Li L-Connect 3 software to control the fans.
Looks amazing, but I'm reluctant to drilling a hole in a brand new case 😂
@dreamEnd yeah totally get that, done a similar mod on my previous case but there was more butchering involved 😬
Can still be done without cutting the hole, would mean running the cable over the PSU shroud to the back of the case and taking advantage of the little rubber grommet that is there, black case version would be even better for doing that way, harder to see the cable.
Please describe what software you use for fhe screen? And how are you controlling the rgb lighting? I notice your fans have two colors
The software used for the screen is Aida 64, I didn't go in to detail on it on the video as I have previously covered that in another video which there was a clicky for in this one, there are lots of videos on RUclips covering how to do it but you can find mine below.
ruclips.net/video/ygzUrsC9WP4/видео.htmlsi=t8buU9TNOEbCzWxA
As for the fan colours, those are all controlled through Phanteks L-Connect 3 software 👍
how is it getting the temps? i did not see any temp cables
Using Aida 64, reads all temps possible through the Motherboard, CPU, GPU, Ram and so on
How did you get the strips to be the same brightness? Me and others are having problems where each strip has a different brightness
@1samthepilot3 I'm actually having the same issue, the bottom strip is brighter than the top strip, what is weird about it though is that I don't think it was like that at the beginning.
I just looked at the other video I done installing them and from the very start from me having them installed the bottom is brighter than the top, think as I have the little screen added your eyes are drawn to that more. Weird I didn't notice that right away as I had seen people mention this on Reddit and so on about this issue.
@@BrisyTechBytes phanteks haven’t addressed this issue publicly on their end but have replied to a comment on reddit saying they have fixed the issue and will offer replacements but this was almost a year ago and I recently got a new one but I am having the same issue. On their website it shows all 3 strips are the same brightness so I wonder what legal issues they can face 🤨
@1samthepilot3 will need to keep an eye on that if I'm entitled to get replacement ones. Will need to have a look on YT to see if anyone has made any videos highlighting this issue, could be worth making one if it helps open it up to the public more, Reddit stuff does that right enough.
@@BrisyTechBytes I was looking for vids that address it but couldn’t find any, but I found a whole village on reddit with this issue lol. Most are angry and returned their strip because how cheap the company is, 70$ for a strip that doesn’t have the same brightness as the rest? Thanks but noo haha. I have contacted support but if no luck, I will just return it, looks tacky in my opinion.
Its 5 in the morning and I still cant find a fix for this issue
@1samthepilot3 I wonder if it's more to do with the little hub that comes with it, too much power draw on it or something that that it gets across all the LED's...if I get the chance I might disconnect the motherboard edge panel and the PSU shroud to see if that helps its not a resolution but would highlight a power draw problem
You didn’t leave a link to the templates
Thanks for pointing that out buddy, have added them now 👍
I have a question for you. Is Aida free? because I see that you need a license to use this program. Is it possible to display only the GPU temperature and change the image background without paying for a license? Is it necessary to pay for a license to change the image background?
@stolustravel3906 some features you need to pay for like showing the GPU temps, from memory you could do everything else, custom backgrounds and so on, make it look like you want it to, just some sensors won't register unless you pay for the license
@@BrisyTechBytes Can you tell me exactly what free features are available? Can any sensor information be displayed? is this sensor information only for paid users? Thank you
@stolustravel3906 as this software is constantly updating I'm not 100% sure what will continue to work after the 30 day trial period, only from memory when my initial trail period ended the GPU temp was showing as "trail" rather than a temp, but I'm sure everything else was showing OK on the sensor panel screen. I just ended coughing up the cash and paid for the license which I do annually, and even then I don't think you need to do it annually unless you want the new features of any updated versions of the software when they come out.
You might as well give the trial version a go and wait till the 30 days expire to see what stops working then make a call on it if you want to pay for a license or not...have alson een people mention Rainmeter as an alternative option but I have never looked in to this, have no idea how customisable it is and if there are forums with people sharing their sensor panels to download like you can with Aida 64
Thank you very much @@BrisyTechBytes
Ordering my screen now, probably just get a cable to an internal header I have spare. Your rig is beautiful but a bit to bright for me, I'm more a blacked out with low illumination kind of guy.
Yeah totally appreciate everyone has their own taste when it comes to lighting/rgb, already considering changing mine to just all white, will still be bright but not so much in your face.
Enjoy the screen when it comes 👍
would have liked to see more than 20 seconds of b roll footage.
u barely showed any footage of it installed.
Noted for future videos bud, appreciate the feedback, my next video was going to be a build video on the full PC, I took some B roll footage but think I'll revist to grab some more 👍
