STEVE! Love the reaction :) only the drums in the death metal part are programmed but everything else is played by THE FUCKING CHAMP Josh Manuel

DUDE! Honoured to have you stop by here. Thanks for that info! I’ve since gone down a rabbit hole of your music and learned that the drum performances on many songs are done on an electric kit so I think that also makes sense of some of the polished sound I heard (not a bad thing by any means, merely something I noticed). Josh has some truly lovely drum licks.
If you enjoyed this, you might like my All Gas reaction (ruclips.net/video/ZmJs84Bm8As/видео.html ). I was tickled by Anabolic here, but I was absolutely locked in from All Gas. Brilliant work sir! 👏🏻

Bilmuri is the artist (aka Johnny Franck, previously Attack Attack!), they are simply the greatest band. Does such amazing fusions, usually releases 5-7 track EPs every year, all really crazy mixes of post hardcore, pop synth rock, etc. Great vibes, intermittent heaviness, usually each EP has a couple of features like Dayseeker, DGD members, etc. Jumps as you've seen from slow synth vibes to heavy breakdowns to sax solos to the catchiest choruses. The guy writes and produces pretty much all of it himself, has other members who fill in the duties on tour, and sometimes make appearances in the tracks (such as the Bassist, Paul, in one of the other tracks on this album, Corn Fed Yetis).
Corn Fed Yetis is probably my favourite from this album, you could find bangers to check out on all of them, because they seriously never miss. From their 2020 EP, Eggy Pocket, the track FLUORIDEINTHEHARDSELTZERWATER (lol don't ask about the track titles), features Rory from Dayseeker and Jon Mess from DGD, is a serious banger and would be a good reaction.
Honestly one of the most refreshing musicians in the scene, always look forward to their releases.

Great comment! Thoroughly informative - I knew all this already b/c I (like you) am a huge bilmuri fan. Now Steve knows! 😆 eggy pocket was my introduction but I had heard attack attack a bit back in the day. Bilmuri’s genre-blending gives his songwriting so much vibrance- it’s wildly entertaining, engaging and fun to listen to.
      Fantastic reaction and feedback Steve!

Bilmuri is the band. The og version of this song doesn't have the screaming btw. You should def check out more of Bilmuri stuff. If you're interested how it sounds live, I recommend watching Bilmuri - Cornfed Yetis Live Drum Cam ft. Hardy & Knox video.

I continue to be astounded at what you pick up on the first listen of these songs ! Enjoyed this one but not sure if the song or your "whys?" with all that laughter ranks highest.....🥰

As always I went straight to the original to listen again...and do a bit of research, and like you I am none the wiser! This guy is nuts. Loved pretty much everything about it though! One thing I did learn is to listen to this on Spotify - especially the ending.

With Bilmuri there is a direct pathway from "What is this? Why?" to "I am deeply in love with this song and band".
