The whole thing from Rocket's suppressed chuckle as he secretly trolls them to Groot going over to the battery without hearing the whole plan and ripping it out just as Rocket says they need it last is brilliant and funny! I also love the confused look on Groot's face after the alarm goes off and the look like, "Oops!" that he gets afterwards!

Rocket probably didn't expect Groot to listen to the conversation and go there without him noticing but more likely didn't think he listened enough to hear the battery part but didn't stick long enough to hear all the way out
I can't even get past Rocket's prosthetic leg bit without wrecking my lungs with stifled laughter.
