I was NOT expecting you to vibe so HARD with this album but I'm glad you loved it this much! I love James, though I don't listen to him a lot (he's one of those artists I have to feel some kind of way to enjoy 100%). FTBYH is not my favorite project from him, but I do think it's his 2nd best, top 1 being his previous full length album Assume Form! Which I'd hardly suggest you to react to! I've been listening to this upcoming artist called Ethel Cain whose debut album just came out called Preacher's Daughter! I'd suggest that one too! Great reaction as always, Fern!💓

Just came across this video!! This album saved the end of 2021 for me along with Tori Amos' Latest "Ocean to Ocean" album. James has such a talent of inviting you into this musical world that is so atypical and unique. No matter what expectation you have he always surpasses it. Incredible reaction as usual!!

love that you were vibing with the album, tbh all of his work is amazing but his fist two albums, "James Blake" and "Overgrown" are top tier. i dare to say his debut is one of the best electronic albums of the 2010's
Yessss! Glad you got into James Blake! I’d recommend his Self-Titled record, it was my introduction to him and I still remember that experience as one of the best listen throughs I’ve ever had. James Blake is insane, I’ve seen him live, he was sick at the time but it was still groundbreaking in every way. You should definitely listen to more of him in your own time.
I don’t know if you have Apple Music but there’s some exclusive audio in the music, like with the track “coming back”. You hear different background vocals.
