Hi there, have you spoken to our product specialists to find out all your financing option? Or have you considered the Luminaris white toner transfer printer? you can learn more about this printer here: ricoma.com/US/machine/luminaris-200
Hi, I updated my Productionserver 21, Build 11447, but I only have Black Garment and White Garment options under media. The other options isn't there. What am I missing?
Hello! We're so sorry that you are running through some issues, we recommend submitting a request with our service team through the link below. ricoma.com/US/support
Looks like it works great but I am curious what the benefit of DTF over DTG is? Maybe my lack of experience is an issue but If the results are the same, why would a person choose DTF?
Hi Johnny! The main differences is that DTF works on a large variety of garments, including cotton, polyester, blends, nylon and both white and dark garments (unlike DTG), DTF is more durable than DTG as well. Since DTG prints directly on the apparel, one mistake with the printer and not only have you wasted the print itself, you've also wasted the entire garment. However, DTF, the mistakes when applying to the garments are very rare. This saves the decorator money, hence saves you money!
We recommend speaking to a sales representative because there are a variety of financing options and the price can vary based on that. You can submit your request through the link below! ricoma.com/US/contact-us
It will be nice if she would’ve provided a link to the direct to film and he’s powdered as well as the transfer sheets I will be getting my recoma RI 1000 on Saturday and I really want to try doing the direct to film it would be nice if they would let you know oh my God
Hi there, we do not currently have our own powder for DTF we got ours from a crafting store nearby, you can check on amazon or at any craft store near you!
@@ricomatv Good afternoon. You know you all are wrong for this response. Your employee demonstrated a product for use with the Ricoma, the least you do is provide us with the informaiton so that we can get the same results. I very seriously doubt that a product from the local craft store or Amazon will render the same awesome results! After watching this video a few weeks ago, I had the same issue - lack of product names used in the video - and I went looking, found a Kodak film and powder, which I tried and did not get those results. I purchased the Kodak because I figured their brand should be good because they are in the "photo" industry. Now, I am back to square one!! I think you guys have an obligation to do some testing or let us know exactly which products were used in the vide! Its the least that you can do since we spent so much money purchasing the machine from you!
That is phenomenal expansion of capabilities! We've been having some issues with printing left chest on polos, and requests for hats, and this definitely looks like a solution for both of these! We bought our Ricoh ri 1000 from a shop that was closing up. We have been using Anarip, but we haven't been able to use Colorgate because it doesn't recognize the dongle. Is this an issue Ricoma could help us through?

She's very good at explaining things ❤
Thanks for watching!
I really want one. I’m going to take a look at it.
Let us know if you have any questions, we are happy to help!
I wish this printer wasn’t so expensive, after the printer alone the toner cartridge replacement is very expensive.

Another benefit is that pretreat is not required with DTF. So you can sell your pretreater, or avoid buying one!

@@ricomatv but are both pigment inks.. or textile inks... dtg and dtf uses same inks?

How can we load the MIM Comabnition file for DTF to ColorGate?
from your colargate go to options then go to MIM administration then import MIM files then select all and the overwrite. hopr this helps
Thanks for helping, Jorge!
Thanks Jorge, it did help. However, there’s no MIM file for the Ri 2000, only the 1000. Any idea when the 2000 will be available? Thanks

if im not wrong for the white output you supposed to click the white first and you didnt you had it on all channels.
Hi! You’re correct that for a white underbase, you need to select the 'white' channel first.
With all that work using the film, might as well just use the DTG settings.
Thanks for the feedback!
Too many steps. Powder; cutting just too many steps
thanks for watching, this is just another option for a custom apparel method that is really popular right now!
