I gotta give the dude thumbs up ... he’s doing the job of 2 main driving force past members, well done 👍🏼 , even though no one can replace Blind Ow Wilson and Bob Hite the guy is doing his best and it’s a great effort , well done man .
Robert Lucas was an incredibly talented person. He filled in with canned heat twice. From my hometown of Long Beach Ca. Life was cut way too short. If you want to really appreciate his singing and playing, find the song Talk to Me here on youtube. From an awesome album called Built for comfort. Crank up the volume on this baby...killer band.
Thank you guys for representing a legendary band that should never be forgotten and their innovative style...."Don't forget to Boogie"...Great performance and a timely choice of this song.
Granted, the original Heat is long gone but these guys sound great and judging by the audience that is present I'd say they're sounding real good.......
As long as Fito is alive & rockin' there is a Canned Heat! Of course it ain't the same...would The Beatles have been the same without John and/or George? But if they'd played together everybody would've been thrilled. Just be happy with the great rocking that we do have!!! It sure beats Justin Beiber...
With just two members (Larry Taylor and Adolfo Fito the la Parra) of the original band this sounds very near the original song of "The Heat". I think it is a great achievement and thumbs up for these guys.
Love your version!...I remember the "BIg Bear" doing this many times!...Great job on the slide!!!...I do love the original by the late Great Wilbert Harrison...He also sang Kansas City...You do have a great voice for this song!...PLAY...it...LOUD!!!
if you love slide, then you need to check out Jonna Connor, she kicks ass. It all make sense, in 72 when Zep IV came out, I burned the out the track "When the Levee Break" or same with "In Need" by GFR. I called it Rock Blues, but Jonna with her Blue Rock, she put her heart and soul in every thing she play.
Esto no es Canned Heat , ellos fueron uno de los mejores grupos de blues y boogie del mundo, y su vocalista, bajista y guitarristas son irreemplazables.
Can't always get what you want, mate. The guy does a pretty good cover, and you can hear the lyrics clearly, which sometimes get lost in the Canned Heat version
The drummer (Fito De La Parra) came in on the 2nd album. He has kept the "brand name" out there through all the deaths and retirements. Everyone else in this video was a new member at the time, and are all long-gone, except for the drummer, who, lately, has had two others from their recording/Woodstock days, Larry Taylor and Harvey Mandel, rejoin him.
Of course this at best " a cover band"...They get by with this fake shit because they have a least one person from the original band who needs a paycheck....so sad
Blind Owl AND The Bear died, that's what happened.... without them it's kind of like the Stones without Mick & Keith.... or U2 without Bono & The Edge..... or Zeppelin without Page and Plant. I guess you can't fault the drummer for carrying on, but it's not the same band without two out of the two leaders.
I gotta give the dude thumbs up ... he’s doing the job of 2 main driving force past members, well done 👍🏼 , even though no one can replace Blind Ow Wilson and Bob Hite the guy is doing his best and it’s a great effort , well done man .

I think the Owl and the Bear are loving it in heaven.. Good job 👍
A brilliant ambition which is even more pertinent today........listen and lets move forward, this is what life is truly about!
Robert Lucas, great voice, slide guitare and harmonicist. Boogie-blues player. RIP Robert 🎤🎸
This band still is amazing!!!
Granted, the original Heat is long gone but these guys sound great and judging by the audience that is present I'd say they're sounding real good.......
There may have been some negative music in the 60's but this is the stuff that everyone remembers. Positive and upbeat.
SUPER !
I love all their lineups over the years...
LOVE U CANNED HEAT!,WHAT AN AWESOME TUNE,ITS STILL POLITICALLY CORRECT!
Peace and love
Das waren Zeiten.......................................Einfach Spitze..............
damn I thought I would never hear rock and roll again! Sounds great.
‘Siempre ‘Exelente’ mi Gran ‘FITO’ un SALUDOTE”! De tu AMIGO, Sergio Mancera (el ‘CÓNDOR”) ‘ Nunca dejes, de ‘TOCAR”!..👍🎶 🥁🥁🎤☮️
Still great after all this time!
Top!!!!

RIP ,Alan Wilson &Bob Hits.
Guardo la entrada firmada por Fito, con mano zurda, por supuesto 😀 en San Carlos, BCN 😎
exelente gracias y compartido
Words are so true! Love it
lets stand together -
Great voice!!
Kaliteye bakar mısın birden bire düşüş, 1969 woodstock bu kalitenin tepe noktasıdır.
The jung and heart. Piece maker from the 60is. On the Road again.
Just as true as in '69.
Without the Owl and the Bear...NO heat
Not at all... Even having an opened mind wont make it work
Paul Parks Quite Right, this lacks so much,
I agree 110%. This isn't even a good try
I think Robert Lucas (RIP) more than pulled his load here. He's going for it.
No spunk. Bye..
1A Gitarrensolo!😍
El gran Fito de la Parra .
Love your version!...I remember the "BIg Bear" doing this many times!...Great job on the slide!!!...I do love the original by the late Great Wilbert Harrison...He also sang Kansas City...You do have a great voice for this song!...PLAY...it...LOUD!!!

DAMM Good cover!...Yes, I know ALL about the Heat, but this is still Damm Good!!!.....PLAY...it...LOUD!
Thank you for uploading! This is different from Bryan Ferry''s singing.
Well yes, because it's not Bryan Ferry.
My school is playing this song 😋😎
💖💖💖💖🎸🎼🎶
The drummer has been in the line up since 1967
Still cool....😎
do it again , great Canned
never heard of this song until the Amazon commercial. I LIKES IT!!!
Class !
this is a great version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This versión its better
Check out his eyes...! Wow, shades of 1969...
Robert Lucas, voc --- RIP
So how come I know the words???? Xxxxx
Robert Lucas was a helluva bluesman, like the original bear
Esto no es Canned Heat , ellos fueron uno de los mejores grupos de blues y boogie del mundo, y su vocalista, bajista y guitarristas son irreemplazables.
Savy brown great boogie
Is that Larry Taylor on rhythm?
150 to 305 jams,jams,jams
These guys blow,it's rather comical,
They sound like a local "cover band." RIP Wilbert.
Well life goes on
😼🎻🎻🎻😺👋👋👋👋👋👋😺
Bob Hite had a better sound
Yea ..spot on
of course he did
Can't always get what you want, mate. The guy does a pretty good cover, and you can hear the lyrics clearly, which sometimes get lost in the Canned Heat version
❤❤❤❤❤❤
anyone know how many original members are in this version of C.H?
The drummer (Fito De La Parra) came in on the 2nd album. He has kept the "brand name" out there through all the deaths and retirements. Everyone else in this video was a new member at the time, and are all long-gone, except for the drummer, who, lately, has had two others from their recording/Woodstock days, Larry Taylor and Harvey Mandel, rejoin him.

Nutters. Lol.🥰 Xxxxxxxx J Xxxxxxxx
No Owl, no Bear, no Heat.
Da fehlt der Drive!
THIS IS NOT CANNED HEAT!
Any original members left in this lineup?
Yes, Larry Taylor and Fito de La Parra.
Cashing in on the name! bye!
Not as good as the original, but I like it😁 ....... but he (lead singer) looks stoned to me!🤪
You're not suggesting rock stars are taking drugs are you?
Harvey Smith not for one minute lol🤪
changed the lyrics
sisiiiii no es lo mismo sin el oso y buho ciego ... pero me encantaria verlos xfa!!!!
the mole...on guitar
What Happened! Did the video guy film some third rate pub band!
not the same sound guys you lost it
canned heat great in 1971 but not 1998
The Song ist too lam, something is Missing.......
el cantante original cantaba parecido a Jim Morrison. y la guitarra del solo era una gibson. les falto mas punch.
Sorry. With all respect, Not Canned Heat.
They should do this for the progressive Bernie crats.
Trumps new,Song coming to a Mags rally .Near you .Soon..
YES!!!!
Mamma mia che palle!!!! Cancellate questo VALIUM !!!!!!!!
Sounds like a cover band. Can't replace Al nor Bob. Don't expect them too.
Not quite, not bad but its not working...
Nothing to do with the original version.
Has no bite, to weak
Of course this at best " a cover band"...They get by with this fake shit because they have a least one person from the original band who needs a paycheck....so sad
Weak....
What happened to Canned Heat? This is like an average cover band's version of their great song Let,s work together. A real shame.
look no masks !!!!!!!!!
This song needs The Bear on vocals.
I must say, he does a decent job filling in for both Bear and Owl.
WHO NEEDS CAPITALISM?
Where one another is of worth, there is no cost.... it's Priceless!
Have no other worth (God), besides Me, to rival Me!
This sucks RIP bob and Alan
OH dear sorry but really poor oh my really gutted :-(
That’s not even canned heat
Well this sucks
Terrible !!!!!! WtF happend?
Blind Owl died, that's what happened.
When you try to turn a blues classic into a line dancing song.
Blind Owl AND The Bear died, that's what happened.... without them it's kind of like the Stones without Mick & Keith.... or U2 without Bono & The Edge..... or Zeppelin without Page and Plant. I guess you can't fault the drummer for carrying on, but it's not the same band without two out of the two leaders.
dreck34 you got that right!! ..
Roy ----- Canned Heat killed themselves with drugs. That's what happened. These guys did pretty good.
