Its my understanding that zombie pathing works as trying to get to you vertically then horizontally. I cant speak for jumping before ladders as a preference for climbing, but since 1 of your climbing platforms is lower than your base, any zombies climbing the hill would choose that, and anything that falls off the base would choose the steps because to get to the ladders they would need to climb down. I thought when u finished the cobblestone floor it would fix, but the lower side i dont think will. Its still a nice design either way though.

Appreciate the honesty. I'd hate to see half the mountain gone due to a bug in the stone coding so no big deal there. I wouldn't even mind if you RAISED the stone support ability beyond 120 to make a cooler, bigger garage honestly
Î hope I'm not to late, but you can upgrade EVERY type of buildblock to explosionresistant concrete. It costs less per upgrade-level. I think it was 10 for cobble, 8 for concrete and 6 for steel or sth? It's really cool.
Also thanks for confirming that stonebug! It cost me several mines and several 10Ks of resources already. Glad to see it's a bug and I don't have to do concrete mines lol!

just wanted to say that there is an explosion upgrade mod you can put on your hammer. use this to upgrade your cobblestone to xplo without tearing it up. hope this helps =]

can upgrade existing shapes to explosion proof concrete , but it requires a mod you craft for the nailgun to do it

No worries about rolling back a save, this series isn't about whether or not you can make a go of it in Rebirth, it's about HOW you make a go of it in Rebirth. It was a bug. You accidentally found the bug, you fixed the bug, Ramsey is now aware of the bug, it's all good. Looking forward to seeing the new base paint job!
That kind of bug is perfectly legit reason to do a rollback. Thanks for bringing it to light.

I'll be honest, I knew about the stone stability issue and I was cringing the entire time you were digging out the parking garage. Totally reasonable to roll it back. Fixed in the new update, I'm glad you were able to adjust it on your end. It was maddening to be digging (what I thought was) a completely stable mine and have it collapse.
The cam nets in the garage is very on point! Perception is half the battle! Thanks Tem, cheers cobber, bless.
Thanks for the info. on the stability glue, had a few mines collapse as well. I had started doing top-down quarry layered mining instead, alot of excess work for unnecessary amounts of clay/sand.

Don't worry about the rollback. We watch your videos for a curated experience. There will always be things that need to be taken care of behind the scenes, be it relogging because of a glitch or unexpected hardware malfunctions or even game breaking bugs, that have to be fixed in order to keep things smooth.

theres a mod you can craft for the nailgun that lets you upgrade to explosion resistant concreate from cobblestone/concrete/steel.

Oh, absolutely on rolling back saves when the game bugs out. Or the other thing I do is 'fine' the game and spawn in some compensation for whatever I lost, which can be a lower impact fix.
I think its bug? The striker health gone up from 66% hp to 78% hp when you bump the last car.

Farm plots can also gather rainwater so you're better off leaving them outside.
I have no issues with reloading a save, especially when playing with mods. Doubly so with an overhaul mod as it takes one bug to cause something with work to be for nought. And you put in a lot of effort so to have a bug harm it is totally cool for a reload.
Hey Temreki, there is a mod you can find or craft(don't remember exactly) to put in your repairgun. It makes I think every(?!) block into an explosive-immune concrete block. Should be handy, so you don't have to destroy your floor downstairs. Very cool that you found this bug by accident😅 thx for being honest, rolling back onto save files is kind of being a youtubecontentcreator I guess. Never on fire again🔥
Hey Tem! The 7m round catwalk shapes are meant to be attached to a flat cube-like shape (like a cube or a plate), that's why they don't line up with the other 7m shapes!
Given the tunnelling the zombies like doing, I wonder if it's worth replacing the support columns with concrete all the way down to just below ground level so they can't dig out the bases foundation and cause the whole thing to collapse

I really like how you made those climbing towers look so nice, mines are usually bare bones.
The main difference to mines is, I make the Zombies climb the ladders facing away from me and animals escaladers on the sides or back of it. I wonder if that is why you had some Z jumping the escalader instead of the ladders.
Hey gns fun idea for your next series what if you do a whole cross dimensions series let’s say you mix mods together like rebirth and darkness falls and so on just a idea of having universes clashing together sounds amazing I think it would be awesome for everyone if you did it
On the Other Fighting Level Door ways.. you can possibly make a nice Patio facing the Garage Tunnel.. then on the opposite side make a pseudo Tower and move the farm there.. possibly a terrace farm.. or just the 7 meter round catwalk there? Just giving you brain fuel.
If possible to do without causing collapse, I think the parking area of the garage should have an extra block or two of the ceiling taken out to make sure you have enough room to vacate the APC without excessive spinal compression. That said, I'm looking forward to that paint job. The base is gonna be awesome wearing the Rebirth colors! And one final thing to add if you haven't already by the time you see this comment... if it's available in Rebirth, you should definitely add the Thick44 flag. It just feels off to see a new series without that flag _somewhere_ in the base.
And I hope I don't get too much flak for this, but... could you explain that flag to me? I don't exactly know the significance behind it. Is it a reference to a content creator, or Kickstarter supporter or something? It was probably explained somewhere before, but I genuinely don't remember.
You can make a mod for the nail gun to upgrade from cobble to the new explosive resistance blocks, also you can change concrete and steel and it would be 10 mix to upgrade the blocks so it would worth to make the mod.
I've hosted many a dedi for myself and friends going back to A16 and never run a server without backups 'cause shizz happens. PRO TIP: Give Duplicati a try. Free versioned backups. By that I mean one can set the backup interval down to minutes and maintain a history of backups. I usually go for every 10-15 minutes and have Duplicati only keep the backups for a number of days or hours. You'll need to run Duplicati as admin to enable VSS snapshot policy such that you can make backups while playing and some game files are locked. Keep your current backup method too as on very rare occasions issues can arise with Duplicati. This way you may be able to save yourself some time when issues do arise. Might not have to rollback quite as far. ;)

You can upgrade into explosion resistant concrete, you just craft mod for your upgrade tool. If it is equipped, you use explosive resistant concrete. If it is not? Normal concrete

I don't need to put rails on the helipad.....waiting for mario music. On another note there is a mod that you can make that allows you to use Explosive Resistant mix to upgrade cobblestone concrete and steel blocks. It's cheaper and faster then making cubes.
Pretty sure using the sword already makes you fire immune for a duration.

District zero has been having issues since the update, I hope it will get fixed soon.
Your npcs aren't firing well at enemies due to the direction they are facing have one fallow u then get them standing where u want them to and talk to them to have them face the direction you want them facing and click stand where you are standing but the option only available if they are actively fallowing you
i too have Collapse Concussion Syndrome due to this block bug. FFS.
31:07 vehicle is at 67% before firetruck, 66% after the impact then the pink car impact drops it to 65%, then immediately it jumps to 78%.
Is a companion fixing it? auto-repair? pink car buff? (I've obviously missed something by joining at ep15)
You should exp , battons, revolvers or turrets on level 3. You dont get EXp on technogeek now. You have still 0% LVL3.
