I miss Windows 7.. You actually felt like you owned your own OS as that time. Today, unfinished updates are shoved down your throat and more likely than not creating problems after updating. They are removing features we are accustomed to. They put fcking ads in solitaire and put it behind a paywall.. It just bothers me so much. I really hope that someone ever manages to revive Windows 7 properly. It's not just that you felt like you where actually in control, it's also about it being user friendly in settings. Windows 10 also did a pretty good job and I like that to.. But Windows 11... what the fck..

I currently have both windows 10 and 11 installed on my PC because I wanted to dualboot to try win11. When playing Valorant there's no noticeable difference. Honestly both are fine but I am sticking with win11.

I haven't had the biggest issues with Win 11. It's been behaving stable for me. Ofcourse I miss Windows 10... its so snappy and fast on a good cpu and fast ssd. My main priority is graphics drivers. On AMD it has been hit and miss lately... i forgot the last time I kept it up to date
@@FORGOTTEN1_ The latest AMD driver is excellent in games however the card suddenly produced coil whine while being 1% usage and 9W power in desktop. I had to revert to 24.5.1 to remove the noise. Ill definitely update to the latest one next month and give it a try
great vid as usual , i had a question about the most recent optimization pack, my restore points wont work with the services powershell script set to off when i set it to default it begins to work again tho. what services do i need to reenable to fix this? i tried turning on the volume shadow copy service but no avail, help would be apperciated, cheers!

I've just been testing this with a spare hard drive the only problem I've came across is the afterburner overlay I've got the 13900kf with all e and p core's running but the overlay isn't showing it properly it shows some on top of the other. Do you have a fix for this?
Hi, I have a problem where my applications, like single-player games, randomly minimize. After hours of research, I read that it could be related to the RAM, and that I should lower the MHz, but the issue still isn’t fixed. I don’t know what else to do. Do you have any ideas about what it could be? (A few months ago, I used your open-source scripts-thanks again for that! However, the problem with the minimizing programs existed before that.) @@griffin1366 Steam isn’t running when this happens. :( It started with AC: Valhalla, where it occurred every 10 minutes (after downgrading the RAM, it only happened once per session). Now I’m playing Cyberpunk, and it happens about once an hour, sometimes only once per session. In very rare cases, it happens in multiplayer games like Valorant or CS2, but that’s really rare.
@@alMighty8989Try a different keyboard, check if your MOBO chipset drivers and BIOS are up to date, as there were known issue with newer Ryzens and USB devices, which were later solved with updates. Sorry if you wrote you've already done this and I just didnt read it.
Hello, I have 14900k and 4090, I am happy with it, but I can log in to CS2. I can easily play for 15, 20 minutes, sometimes even more. Then, it quits the game without any errors, that is, it returns to the desktop and the game closes. What could be the reason? I followed the degrees with MSI Afterburner. CPU MAX TEMP in the game for 35 and 45 minutes: 69 -71 GPU MAX TEMP: 45-52 I'm sure it's not caused by overheating and this problem only exists in CS2. There is no problem in other games. :/

Windows 11 23H2 Windows 10 22H2 All updated to the latest updates. I know you will ask about 24H2 but that isn't released yet, and from personal testing I didn't find any difference.
Not everyone plays competitive games all the time. Please include some other games as well. Games like RDR2, GOW, Elden Ring, Dragon's Dogma 2, and others would be fine addition to the test

It is possible that that was only possible in ryzen CPU. I would like to see a test on the same games as he used but on an Intel CPU. Also, how does it affect Windows 10? They are what I'm curious to see
Good question, what I would say is try it, also is that if you don't install any game outside of steam you won't need antivirus, just don't install software that you don't know or from sketchy websites.
customs os,s are only for people who dont want to optimize their pc by themselves, i have fox os win 11 and comparing it to base win 11 there is definitely a massive fps boost and wayyy lower latency and there is reverts for different things. but i agree with you i shouldnt have trusted a os that could have been a btc miner or something worse.

would come down to gpu usage and frame rate the latency difference, why dont you use frame view to measure the latency yourself. i did a video on how!

smokes in cs2 are beautiful but look at the latency when flying through, from ~ 1.8ms to ~ 3.5ms :(( on this hardware, thats just ass!

I've had a similar issue in the past. Steam friends list ended up being the problem. Try appearing offline!
