When you're driving and you've got delivery deadlines, it is difficult to fully appreciate the beauty of the drive. It's nice to have the video to enjoy at your leisure and to share with others.
The first time I drove thru the canyon was at night the next morning when I talked to dispatch my dispatcher asked me how I liked the canyon, And I said what canyon I had never heard of it before the second time I understood why he had asked me. I didn't notice it because I always drove the same way at night on steep grades Slow and under controlled gearing. Its an Amazing drive. I live in Arizona now.
Beautiful but scary drive. It doesn’t help that their are idiots who are basically up your butt when doing the speed limit at the sharp curves. Those pricks can fall off please
It can certainly be aggravating when you're doing all the safe driving things, only to have idiots doing crazy unsafe things around you. They're the first to blame the professional driver when they themselves cause an accident, too.
@@Myotradventure it baffles me, this would be the best time for those speed demons to finally follow the speed limit. There are plenty of areas to pass once this stretch is done. Instead, they put needless stress and danger for normal, safe drivers. I love being behind a truck in these situations.

But when you're downhill at 20-30 mph, you've got time. Appreciate it while you can. You'll get your money in the end.
