SD stands for Single Dart. Also when you got the 96 FPS reading, you loaded the dart before you primed. All of the other lower values afterwards, you primed before loading the dart. I'm not sure if that makes a difference, but priming when the dart is in the barrel may suck the dart in further to create a better vacuum seal and give you consistent 90+ FPS.
@@2-Way_Intersection I mean, they'd be cool if they gave something to put on it, rather than having one rail attachment released every 50 or so blasters designed
They’ve probably spread themselves too thin. Rival, elite, zombie strike, ultra, etc plus a potential brain drain and their designers might have all left
The Volt can actually be disassembled, but the internals lack proper springs, the trigger and catch just use plastic tension, which will wear out over time.
It's honestly baffling how they missed such a big opportunity with the 2.0 line. Even just the opportunity to make Accustrike the new standard or to at least just add another dang vent hole on the regular Elite darts to equalize drag in flight. They could pretty easily alter existing molds to make that little change. The whole 2.0 line has basically been Hasbro doubling down on being stingy, which is the exact opposite of what the brand is supposed to represent.
I agree. Therefore CS is Clip System (as Hasbro calls it Clips instead of Magazines/Mags) Echo CS-10, Phoenix CS-6, Turbine CS-18 and Rapidstrike CS-18 for that matter. Commander RD-6 and Shockwave RD-15 Revolver Dart. Trio TD-3 Three Dart. Warden DB-8 Double Barrel Dude Bro lol
I actually just brought myself this Blaster Today and thought that having the extra two rounds in the grip was pretty cool and i like the Tactical light, which works pretty okay for what it is
The battery, switch and LED are all close together saving on wire: Hasbro is really cheaping out on the Elite 2.0 series, but not passing on the savings to the consumer. Side note - a momentary switch on the "laser sight" is better, tactically, than having it on all the time IMO.
I always preferred the separate trigger for the light on the Firestrike because whenever I tried to use the half trigger pull on the Nitefinder, I’d always end up pulling it too far and firing the dart.
LOL. We made this blaster a couple months before any of the photos were leaked :) Including the light switch for a real flashlight inside the trigger well.

I used to have a storage tote full of probably more than 50 nerf blasters. Lord Drac Fantastic look at the Volt. Thanks for showing us the pros and cons. I agree this may be the bet of thr 2.0 line. Its kinda sad that. Single Dart blaster would be the best of thr bunch. Keep up the great work. Yes Mod Guide Please.
In my opinion I love the 2004-2015 era of Nerf N Strike Blasters, the blasters looked nicely designed and more tactical, Nerf imo went downhill with Elite in 2016 as the paintjob and looks of the blasters dont look cool anymore
Is the light/laser brighter than on the Firestrike? Or does the video just make it look brighter? I enjoy a modded firestrike, but its light is VERY disappointing
the realization that Nerf employee's not using pistols in office wars is terrifying. Given recent developments, it might be that office wars may no longer be a thing is even more terrifying...
SD stands for Single Dart, I wish they sticked with the EX and IX codes for blasters like these. Also its msrp is $9.99 not $14.99, walmart strikes again
SD-1 probably stands for single dart, but a more apt abbreviation would be “sorry drac” in regards to its lack of modding options

Same, but I also had a Strongarm and The jolt but it has a slide.
Mine was fire strike
Mine was original elite jolt
Yeah I had two normal nite finders and a red "dart tag" one

Why has nerf just decided to be like “let’s just make the same blaster but more expensive and useless tac rails”
Don’t forget the lack of screws, too.
Also, if Hasbro was honest the answer would probably be:
“Money!”
tac rails are cool alright

Worse production quality, "rails" and shitty colour and ergo compared to elites

And I assume that because they rely on plastic tension we can't just machine sturdier parts in their place, right?

In the UK the firestrike seems to be a good seller. This looks like a good blaster. SD could stands for "Subservient to Dartzone".
