I’ll keep saying it but what if Ultra was really just supposed to be a Mega replacement/improvement instead of a DZP competitor and the release timing was just bad?
I think Ultra was supposed to be like Mega Short Darts in the initial stages hence why they all have similar sizes. I still wanna see Ultra Blasters with a Scar Barrel
I bet that the trigger wouldn't be so sticky if Hasbro had used a metal spring instead of a plastic leaf spring. That's definitely something for the mod guide. As for performance, the Stryfe's stock performance is also pretty poor compared to Elite clip-fed springers. But the advantage of the Stryfe is its mod support. Almost anything you dislike about the blaster can be fixed with the right parts/kit. I'm excited to see what parts are made for the Motostryke. As soon as there's a source for cheapish extra clips (instead of just thrifting Centurions), I'll pick one up.
GrimzNerfWorks yeah it is pretty rare but due to the centurions weird magazine loading system of a centurion fails it is almost always catastrophic. Mine broke cause a dart James in it weird had the sonic ice variant. I think a lot of it’s issue could have been fixed if they gave you a way to remove the barrel and gave it a normal dart chambering system.
HammerMeister1999 I agree, but a full auto mega Stryfe would be really difficult to do with a pusher. If a conveyor belt like the hyperfire or regulator was used, it probably would work better as a full auto blaster

That is a bummer. How did they get the Mastodon to fire so smoothly? Oh, right. It's gi-normous and requires a fistful of D batteries to operate. I guess we'll always have the Twinshock, even if it is a springer.

YES! My three favorite things to see in a Drac Nerf video, Echo, Jinx, and the Nerf Mega MotoStryke! I like mine, but I always planned on modding it. I can’t wait to see what you can do to improve its performance.
Over a year and half later, and I've finally modded my own. A couple notes I'd like to put up 1: this does not use rival motors. They're 280s, rival motors are 360s 2: the return spring was cut too long, and the leaf springs on your trigger aren't helping your cause. Lop off the leaf springs and cut the end off of your extension spring. Take a knife or screwdriver and bend back 2-3 coils and reattach it. You'll have that buttery smooth trigger pull like the hailfire after that.
Despite the issues, this is probably the Mega platform most deserving or at least most capable of supporting a full mod guide. I fully support this one getting the love and support Hasbro just couldn't quite muster for it.
