- Martha Stewart shares her recipe for making savory buttermilk biscuits with fragrant, finely chopped herbs like chives, dill, and rosemary. Given how difficult buttermilk can be to find in a grocery store, Martha also teaches us how to make buttermilk from scratch! These light and flaky biscuits are phenomenal with breakfast sausage, eggs, bacon, or on their own with some butter. They are fluffy and flavorful and so fun to make!

Thank goodness we have Martha in this world!
I grew up in the south on a farm where buttermilk biscuits were part of breakfast every morning. I am looking forward to trying this recipe.!
Let us know how it goes!
@@MarthaStewart yummmm
Martha please keep posting so many videos like you were before 😫😍😍😍😍 they were keeping me alive 🙃🙃🙃
I LOVE THIS RECIPE, it's my total go to for biscuits
Yummy 😋 nothing like homemade biscuits! Thank you Martha🌹
This is very similar to my granny's recipe. She didn't add the baking soda when using buttermilk. I'm going to try that. Also, she was adamant that you weren't supposed to twist the cutter on the dough...straight up and down or the biscuits won't rise she would say. Well, your biscuits look perfect so that must have been an old wives tale. 😆
She did put in the baking soda
Oh my goodness. They look sooo beautiful. Thank you Martha 🥰
Hi, Martha. You are amazing ! So elegant today! Shirts and earings suit you too well! Your biscuits must be perfect. Thanks

OMG! They are so pretty! 😋😋😋
I love you Martha from Egypt
They look great, where can I find the full recipe? I think American cups are different to UK cups and I don't know what a "stick" of butter translates to.
Hi Julie! Butter here in the States comes in 1 pound packages. Each package has 4 sticks of butter. So each stick is a quarter pound!
Good morning Mrs MARTHA YOUR COOK SO VERY EASY AND LOOK DELICIOUS
I Swear to Goodness! Martha gets even more Beautiful and Vibrant throughout the years.
These biscuits look wonderful and I love buttermilk! They look very much like scones. Is there a difference?
They use similar ingredients but there is a small difference! The buttermilk we use for the biscuits make them extra fluffy, airy and flaky. Scones use on richer, denser, ingredients like heavy cream and eggs to get a sturdy, more crumbly result.
Am also feel this is similar to scones
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ today i joined with this channel. Luv this

Hiiii!!! - thank you so much 🌹
Happy to help! 😊
Can I use "rice vinegar" for the buttermilk?
Yes! Rice vinegar, white vinegar or apple cider vinegars are all fine substitutes.
Thanks for sharing especially with vegetables. How can you do this with more vegetables and less fat.
Wow I'm watching
Where do I buy that bowl 🥣
Hello Teresa
Is there a file, in every Biscuit?
What's the difference between these and scones? Similar in making no?
Similar in making and they use similar ingredients but there is a small difference! The buttermilk we use for the biscuits make them extra fluffy, airy and flaky. Scones use on richer, denser, ingredients like heavy cream and eggs to get a sturdy, more crumbly result.
@@MarthaStewart Scones are fun and make me feel British.

This video ended too soon, I thought we would see her take them out of the oven and break one in half
Your flaky!lol just kidding I ❤️💖💞💕😘🥰😍you!
Stand mixer? No food processor.
she so sweet
Aren't these scones? Biscuits are cookies.
Sorry this looks more like a scone than a biscuit
Scones and biscuits are almost tge same..biscuits are lighter and fluffier.
I believe it's because your baking powder is not "absolutely fresh" as dicribed. Mine did the same thing. Had to make recipe several times with different baking powers to get it working good.
If your store doesn't regularly have at least two types of buttermilk in the cooler, you're living in the wrong town. Just sayin'
Whatever you do, don't give Martha Bakes your email address. I made that mistake and have been absolutely flooded with a tsunami of unwanted emails from companies like Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Living, etc. That is rude and a breach of trust Martha and it changes how I view you and your program!
Buttermilk works better. Why not use the real thing if you have it?
I want written recipe for you buttermilk biscuits
