I’m not a very artistic or creative person. When people show me art or music, I can enjoy it and somewhat appreciate but I never really understand it. However, when watching Half Alive’s music videos, I really feel something. Like there is so much more. It made me feel something I had never felt before. Something I never thought I would feel. So I’m glad I came across Half Alive, because ironically enough, I felt only half alive until I experienced their music.

i listen to lots of artists but there is just *something* about half alive, you know? especially the lyrics. it's always so full of emotion and smart, every word and line is written with intention, it's just so beautiful and comforting.
This music,while short, is explosive in its simple messages and themes. These guys know there stuff when it comes to imagery,and the use of it. Summerland seems to be the longing to keep hold memories and cherrish them. Arrow in my heart is the danger of love and the pain it can cause even when you havent experienced it. This music,while short, is explosive in its simple messages and themes. These guys know there stuff when it comes to imagery,and the use of it. Summerland seems to be the longing to keep hold memories and cherrish them. Arrow in my heart is the danger of love and the pain it can cause even when you havent experienced it. Its all surreal and strange but it is my damn jam
I knew I was going to cry before the video started but DAMN. never misses. Half•Alive touch me on another level. Josh’s mind and the rest of the creatives on the team are extraordinary and their minds are so beautiful. Each video is inspirational & absolutely soul touching. I am so in love with them. I feel so much connection to Josh & he doesn’t even know me hahahaha agh it hurts my heart.
