Yes I think he got his specs wrong. He called it a 2.25 and it's actually a 2.0" and a challenger track at that. My high country has the 2.25" powerclaw and that would have been perfect on the x but it doesn't come in 146 length. Powerclaw is a badass track!
Another Great video, thanks for commmenting on the cat 800 I just put my deposit on my '22 cats, both are 800's😁 really looking forward to enjoying them 🤔😉
Yes you are correct, it is a 2" challenger track. If it had a 2.25 powerclaw like the high countries that would have been perfect. I was on the fence with these when they were coming out and when I saw 2" challenger I ended up finding a 19 high country because it had the 2.25 powerclaw and glad I did. The 2" challenger track on a trail skid is not enough for this kind of sled, but now know it was only a one year model with the 2021 getting the mono rail, it makes sense they just did it for simplicity. The 2021 riot x will be very interesting.
Luke, I’ve got a 2018 zr8000 129” what bolt on product if any would you put on for more top end? It’s got around 500 miles on it and it’s honestly pretty dead on its track. A 600 will run with it, yeah it’s studded.
That seems pretty odd, my 2019 ZR8000 pulls like a raped ape, but if I had to suggest any upgrades Precision EFI makes a reflash that is beneficial, Reflash and adjustable clutch weights will dial you right in
Do you know of arctic cat is doing the order only deal next year to or are they going to let dealers have floor models so someone can purchase in house. I would like to to see one of these before buying. To much coin now for a new sled to just take a chance for me.
Yes it will be spring order only again for 2021 models. Also you can't get this machine for 2021. The 2021 riot x has the monorail skid like the alpha's have, with a 2.6" track. It should be a really good offtrail boondocking sled, much more than the 2020 riot x!
People complain nonstop that its not available in season. Meanwhile Ski Doo doesn't sell the Freeride, Expert, Summit X, BCX, MXZX, MXZXRS or BCXRS in season either. Doo fans silenced.
Poo doesnt sell 850's in season either. They also gloss over that one. And Ski Doo is Spring Check on all X and XRS models. Yes, you can find dealers that have them but usually those are cancelled customer orders. I would have bought a Riot but didnt pre-order in time and dealers had $2k in markup on them. I bought a Doo instead
Really nice video Luke 👍 I very much agree with the 800 ctech2 praise 😉 would have loved to get ahold of one, I don't agree with the decision Arctic cat made with not having sleds in showrooms, I believe it is hurting the brand, and I see that on the trails every year as the number of cat riders I run into are less and less, honestly, when I couldn't get a Riot a couple weeks ago, I nearly ended up with a Polaris, I know that SnowTrax is found of the Polaris line, and honestly, it was because of the videos you have done on the different Polaris models that even made me consider it as an option for me, but when it came down to it I just couldn't pull the trigger on a new Polaris which meant riding my old cat another season 😁
I was on the fence of getting the x model until all the specs were out and seeing it only got the 2" challenger track, on a trail oriented skidframe.. I ended up picking up a 19 high country instead. They are basically the same except the skid and track. High country used the dedicated mountain skid setup with the power claw track and this makes it way better off trail. I'm glad I got the 19 instead of the riot x. But the 2021 riot x with the alpha rail and 2.6" powerclaw should be insane for boondocking. I considered trading the high country in for one but I'm still so happy with the high country. I don't do alot of big hill riding or maybe I'd be considering the 3021 more but for flatland deep snow the high country works very well and super playful.
Borrowed time lol textron owns them. They're not going anywhere. Matter of fact all snowmobile manufacturers would do the same thing if they were smart
The snocheck program is great, clearing out old inventory, and owners like it because their sleds have better resale because they aren't competing with carryover models that get rebated. I could sell my 19 right now for more than what I paid for it brand new. And the snomageddon prices are the best in the industry by far. Only people that don't seem to like the program are internet critics. Dealers love it. Buddy of mine just bought a new 20 from a dealer that did order a bunch for their floor, so that is still happening but it's on the dealer and not cat.
I wish they kept this color combination for 2021
Replace the blue with purple. It's not a Yamaha...yet...
2021 Riot X has the Alpha Monorail and a 2.6” powerclaw can’t wait to see your review on that
Ya me too. SnowmibilerTV just did a small review.
Whaaaaat!! I heard you say you like an arctic cat.... I can’t believe it.
I Love the color combo
Comparison of riot x, sks and backcountry plz
Got my 2020 Riot X, was hard to pass up that price for a brand new sled. Love it!
what about the 2021 snowcheck x with the single beam this is crazy there puting out sleds to fast if u boight this one and the new ones here already
Looks like it has the challenger track... the power claw is so much better of a track.

Solid review. Local dealer has one I get to try this weekend. Too bad we are itching for some fresh snow.
Did you guys get the lug depth wrong again .... isn't it 2.0 inch for the 2020 Riot X
Yes you are correct, it is a 2" challenger track. If it had a 2.25 powerclaw like the high countries that would have been perfect. No windshield or did you take it off? Looks weird without a shorty windshield
🔥🔥🔥🔥🤟

kenshaw338 Tommcat Performance out of Massachusetts can get you squared away
Copy that, I’ll check into it. Thanks man
Arctic cat high country 6000 vs Polaris assault 600?

Not always true a lot of dealers
Will order and have those in stock
Matt Smith as they did for the Riot.

Awesome
Arctic Cat is the best option for snowmobiles don't be fooled the Arctic Cat will eat a Ski-Doo alive yum yum
How does it compare to the high countrys
Snowmobiling and shooting -Rydah I’ve drove both and owed a high country 800 very similar liked the high country better just because of the 2.25 track

I want one
You can get the 146 with 2.6lug
The 2021 Riot X's will come with the 2.6, but the 2020's didn't have the option.
new to sleds.. why does everyone give arctic cat a bad name?
Healthier company ? They're on borrowed time.
Borrowed time lol textron owns them. They're not going anywhere. Matter of fact all snowmobile manufacturers would do the same thing if they were smart
@@Cummins2519 At one time they owned Polaris. They damn near destroyed the company. Cat is on thin ice. Time will tell if they survive.

Any time some one says.. "I'm not gonna lie" is lieing.

So basically it’s a >>> Riot ‘!
Well I guess I’ll be first to comment second is for losers 😁 doo nation
