I know you are active, but me I'm cursed with watches. I'm a nurse and I wear my solar G-Shock, and it has been banged, bumped, barfed on, and it's unrelenting with durability. When I'm off work I have found it difficult to retrain my brain to "take off the Promaster" before doing tasks, and stupidly I dragged my arm across a hard surface with that watch and I douched the stainless steel case by scratching it (thankfully screen protector saved the face). So now I'm kind of leary about wearing my Promaster, or looking into other cool watches becuase of this. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. 2mo Bluegill097 “The owl is on the shed”. I've moved away from Tritium watches (had a couple Luminoxes) but I may get another one. SuperLuminova is never as good as tritium!"
I'd mix the Yellow Crown with the Blue Crown and swap the Yellow and Blue hands. Heavy Contrast for better at a glance legibility. That would also look sick IMO.
They have the greatest repair service. I just had my eclipse 203 mil repaired and it came back like new for 150 ;) They are truly mil spec watches and I speak from experience.
Luminox ain’t cheap either. Both are very much the same style. Looks solid either way. Lotta experience with luminox. Fantastic face. Broke a few bands over the years.
One of my pet peeves with watches with a ticking seconds hand is when the movement doesn’t line up with dial tick marks. Attention to detail failure. Yes, I synchronize my time pieces with a NIST or GPS time reference.
Yeah I used to care about that but I let it go. Especially after I starting modding watch hands. It's nearly impossible to synch it up perfect and if you keep trying then you can ruin the hands.
I’ve got the yellow one I’ve had about a year and a half dove down to 120 feet with it so far no problems the half-life on the T 100 is 50 years so should glow quite a bit more than the T 25 in the Luminox which I also have and that’s about 15 years old and has lost probably half of its illumination
Yeah, my isobrite T100 blew chunks. And their customer service was so aggravating that I asked them not to return it from their service department and to simply use it to figure their shit out. They just said “ok” and hung up. I see they still make it with that massive over the top crown that DOESN’T screw down.
So much hate on this watch in the comments... I have one made by isobrite under the armourlite brand. The one I have runs around 500+, but watches can be had for less if you are in the watch groups. I got mine new but its built like a tank and worth the cost.
The luminox and isobrite look cool but they are hundreds of dollars. How do they stack up against a 60 dollar g-shock? Be curious to see for those of us with a lower budget.
Totally depends on you. The Isobrite is a LOT of second cool. And I mean A LOT. It's so fucking cool. It's slick, it's tritium, cool colors, the list goes on. G-Shock is totally doable. More functionality, possibly more robust though I've never tried to break one. And I get the first cool, I wear a Protrek 24/7. It looks nice, but more importantly it's got ABC functions and more alarms than I'll ever use, sunrise/sunset, timer, WT, autolight, etc. But the Isobrite triggers that same primal, dick-hardening, sphincter-clenching response I get from Dodge Vipers. It's just cool. It's really cool.
Nutnfancy isn't really living up to his name with these watches that are the cost of some of the rifles he reviews. They are probably cool and worth it, but not really needed just to tell time. (Because you don't need nothing fancy)
That's valid. Lots of good, inexpensive options on the market. Can't go wrong with some of Casio's less expensive sport watches. For some people such as myself, we like this kind of thing. I own two Casio Protreks, which for me are about as perfect as a watch gets. Until now. I am eager to get my hands on one of these watches. Hell, I might start wearing two watches.
It would be fantastic if you could review the Suunto Core. An iconic/popular high value watch in the law enforcement and military. I am law enforcement and have considered the watch, but would like some validation please. Thank you.
I always tell myself I'll replace my Timex discovery (in FDE and ODG). But then all my money goes to guns or knives🤦the Timex hasn't let me down though, and my dad used one in Vietnam haha
Thanks for another fun and great review ! Just picked one up and absolutely love it 👍🏻👊🏻 Anyone know who makes a face/display protector for it ? Can’t seem to find one that’s my only complaint early on is there not much protection as far as the crystal being flush and not reassessed at all.
Trint watches are fun but after 5 yrs they dont really glow much, buy them if you like them but dont spend much on them unless you view watches as disposable. I have a couple MARATHON watches and a few SEAL Luminox types that died lume wise.
My marathon TSAR is 10 years old and is still serviceable. Certainly not as Brite as my newer tritium watches but I can still read it in the dark no problem. I have great eyes, though. It's just my hearing that's going, or that's what I tell the girlfriend anyways.
I bought an IsoBrite chrono that lasted as long as the battery. I sent it back for a battery and the date hasn't worked right since. Sorry man, I feel like an idiot for spending 400 plus on a watch that may last 5 years.
Hey nutnfancy can we get a verilioness update? Was watching some old knife reviews and remember she used to be in the comments answering questions all the time. Hope all is well!
Nice watch but too expensive for me...I’ve been highly considering buying a new watch with a built in compass, thermometer and barometer...I really really don’t want to spend over $150 though 😂
Glen Blakley so because someone tells you they're safe you believe it. Exactly how much radiation causes cancer. When I was In middle school, my friend's father came back from Vietnam with a tritium watch. He later developed skin cancer on his wrist. The doctors told him it was from his tritium watch. He died shortly after.
Who's paying you to shill for these crap products? That's, at best, a $50 watch. Period. It has a cheap, $3 quartz module in it. Its junk. Time to man up and play with the big boys. How about a nice upper mid range watch like a TAG, Breitling or Omega? If I'm laying out $500 for a watch, you had better believe it will be something like that, even if its used. O-ring or Oyster style sealed case, sealed pushers, accurate, mechanical movement (preferably self winding) or at least a company specific quartz module, not something off the floor of a Chinese factory. A good rule is if the company hasn't been around for over 50 years, don't pay more than $50 for it! And for the record, I do know what I'm talking about. I have around 80 watches, the majority are Omega's although I do have decent representation from TAG, Breitling, Rolex, Baume Mercier, Ebel, Longines etc.
Len Zielenski Ya you don’t own a single watch. But when you finally pull the trigger on a grail watch, an isobrite isn’t a bad start. Amazing customer/repair services. These watches can take a brutal beating on land or in the water. They’re badass 😎🇺🇸🖖

Hi, Outdoor Dad!
I'd mix the Yellow Crown with the Blue Crown and swap the Yellow and Blue hands. Heavy Contrast for better at a glance legibility. That would also look sick IMO.
I have a armourlite professional series al1403 and I love it. Its made by isobrite and its definitely worth the money
$500 for that mother scratcher? Sorry but that thing looks like a $20 Walmart special. The tritium is cool for sure but no thankee bruh.
Not the Drop version, it's about half that. If you buy it on regular market then yeah it's pricey
@@nutnfancy Gotcha. Yeah that's quite a discount on Drop then.
They have the greatest repair service. I just had my eclipse 203 mil repaired and it came back like new for 150 ;) They are truly mil spec watches and I speak from experience.
Isobrite/Armourlite also offers a "Military, Law Enforcement & First Responders Discount" when you order direct from them.
Luminox ain’t cheap either. Both are very much the same style. Looks solid either way. Lotta experience with luminox. Fantastic face. Broke a few bands over the years.

For that price It better.

Dying with that “hands job” Nutnfancy. Merry Christmas.
Got to keep it light ;-)
Great review! I love the watch and I live the WRVs. Keep em coming.
Bertucci: titanium, tritium, offset crown, repairable quartz movement... need I say more?
Yeah, my isobrite T100 blew chunks. And their customer service was so aggravating that I asked them not to return it from their service department and to simply use it to figure their shit out. They just said “ok” and hung up. I see they still make it with that massive over the top crown that DOESN’T screw down.

The slanted ring makes the watch look expensive n elegant. I love it.
Gotta ding you for not going over the Marathon watch offerings. This feels like UrbanGentry’s swimlane.

have you seen or tried to oil fill a watch?
They don't give those things away, do they?
What’s y’all’s thoughts on swatch watches?
I have a lumi nox. It is my most expensive watch. I have replaced the tritium one time and need to do it again.
How do you replace the tritium?
Dude im totally buying one of these...
You will love it, I wear mine every night and it's warm reassuring glow tells me everything is right in the world.
You will like it, I have one with tritium, mine is a armourlite professional series made by isobrite and I love it
Nutn, when are you gonna review a Del-ton?
500 bucks for a watch that can't compete with Casio G-Shocks? No way, but they look cool.
I'm going to keep my $500 and just keep looking at the sun to tell time
Nutn sounded a lot like Heath's joker when he said ahead of the curve at the start of the video.
Thanks for another fun and great review !
Just picked one up and absolutely love it 👍🏻👊🏻

Nutn: $500 watch?
Me: Fuck no snake!
Also me: Takes second glance, yeah that's pretty cool.
Those or Luminox

And I love you back for loving it. A lot more on Patreon that I don't post here.
Finally sold me a watch.😎
Awesome video all great watches thanks Nutn

Hey nutnfancy can we get a verilioness update? Was watching some old knife reviews and remember she used to be in the comments answering questions all the time. Hope all is well!
NutnFancy is live!?
I got mine in yellow at gun show for $250. It's T-100. Soooooo bright! It'll be my last watch!
Nice watch but too expensive for me...I’ve been highly considering buying a new watch with a built in compass, thermometer and barometer...I really really don’t want to spend over $150 though 😂
Check out the bulova mariner nutn. I really want to see your take on it.
Hi Nunt please say hi to me!! I'm a huge fan!!
I need to get a watch eventually. Something tactical yet affordable.
Many casio G-shocks to choose from. Just ordered one. Good prices for a really good watch.
Casio gwm5610 is affordable and very rugged. I do commercial refrigeration work and it has held up very well
Gun streamer yessssss???
I want to feel special!!!
Hell yeah!
Get some Citizen badass watches, not those kids watches with paper machet bands. What about a white 55mm Gshock!
Nutn read my book Water Heads on kindle ebooks by Edward Blakely. I’m a subscriber I’ve been watch from day one lololol
Give me my DW 5600 for $40
Right on. They are bulletproof and affordable enough that you can prove how bulletproof they are.lol
Sweet!!
Tritium is a radioactive isotope, why would you want to put that on your wrist?
Two minutes of research on the internet would have told you that it's entirely safe.
I would be more worried about other electronic devices emitting all kinds of goodness like cell phones!
Yeah you need to do some research before you just start blabbing. You’re so uniformed.
jayhat go ahead buy two. Put one in your pocket. You probably think a micro wave oven isn't Radioactive when it's not running.
DEAR SIR: WHEN YOU WILL DO A NEW UPDATED USK 2020???? WHEN??' WHEN?? WHEN?? (LOL) LOVE YOU!!!! THANKS FOR ALL!!!
$500.00 really ? NOT
Dope.
H3 GWS G10 military tritium watch. $200. Best mil trit watch on the market. Google it.
