I was hoping to see this comment. The front "grabs" (no idea what it's called) are very peculiar to me lol. The cows don't seem to care much for it. Really cool all in all.

Watching the cows seems like it may take them a bit getting used to it. The first cow had a look of confusion and bewilderment as she was being raised and lowered...cute really...

I can't believe I'm watching this.lol. It's really interesting and looks a dream machine for cows and the young lad using it. He is an expert with this machine already, it's all singing and dancing. Brill for cows and humans. Keep up the excellent work and sharing with us.

I saw a place for u to put the grinder and knife at the back which i thought was brilliant, but is there a place for them on each side too for when you’re doing the front feet? I’m so excited for you to get to use this awesome new equipment!! So much better for your back. It looks cool too. I’m sure you’ll get so fast with the transitions. Thanks for giving us the tour.

wow that's great. I was reminded of a funny story about my grandpa and his cow, it was a long time ago when i was a little girl and i overheard my dad saying something about a cow crush and i was quite upset at the thought he was going to crush a cow and i told my dad you shouldn't just crush a cow because something was wrong. After he realized what i was talking about he laughed ar me which made me more upset until he explained it lol.
There was a lot of thought and experience but into that design. Way different than the simple squeeze chutes I used in my youth.
You forgot to show us the most important feature! The poo shield in the back! 💩

I love how easy it is for the cows to get in and out. Cant wait to see it handle a bull. I think the moving of the cow's legs is too fast. I know you'll be tweaking it over time but the cows are having trouble adjusting themselves quickly as the crush takes their legs. See if you can tweak it a bit. FANTASTIC CRUSH! I hope its all you were dreaming of.

As I recall, the weight is all supported by the belly band - you can actually have both back hooves up at the same time (like in the Wisconsin video)
The joy in your eyes is great. Like a child who got his favorite toy. So modern, hydraulic this and that, power here and there. enough room for all accessories needed. You've earned IT!!!!

I really like the back feet cuff hooks and the guard part that seems to stabilize/support the rest of the ankle. The front hooks seem a bit weird to me.

I also looks to be physically a lot larger than the Wopa51. What's it like to tow on those narrow roads?
Ita the same length as my wop was but 8 inches wider and maybe 8 inches taller its absolutely fine on the roads here. And tows very very well

I was born and raised in the city and have seen maybe 3 cows up close my whole life. The way you care for each cow is so endearing and now I have a soft spot for those sweet girls.

Fun fact- we live about 20 min from where these chutes are made. My dad started trimming 27 years ago using Appleton steels chutes. We now own 4- they are used daily- and the are definitely a top notch products and the owners of the company are wonderful people!! So excited to see one of these chutes in your video, it will definitely change how you operate!

So, believe it or not, my parents met when they went to college in...Appleton, Wisconsin. I did a little Googling to find out where Appleton Steel was based and smiled when I saw it was the same town. This new crush is absolutely unreal. It’s so automated, so beautiful and so well-thought-out. Looks like you don’t have to bend so far down when you are trimming, which will be so much better for your back. Congrats! I’m looking forward to continuing to see it in action as we head into the summer. Nothing but happy cows and happy hoof trimmers ahead. 👍🏻
The company is actually in hortonville, not appleton. Its about 10 minutes from appleton. I have driven by the company many times. Its a family owned multi generation company. Builds all crushs to order and the best in the world. This isnt even the top model.
Did your parents go to Lawrence college i take it since its only college their. Their is a very large tech school thats associated with uw system so you can do the first 2 years their. My cousin ran track fpr lawrence and did have some records their.
