Great video, could you just tell me what months you have been fishing, and if you think that was a good choice?

I like late July and early August. The weather is more stable at this time and the bugs are better than they are in "Spring and early Summer." You can catch salmon and trout at other times during the year just fine. At some locations the best time to catch the Salmon runs will be different. I would check the location that you want to go to and do some research by calling a local tackle shop and finding out best times or check this site out on the Alaskan Fish and Game site: www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=fishing.main . Sorry I could not give you more definite information about other times but I have only fished in Alaska in July and August. These times seem to work well and I even did a trip once in the Artic Circle north of Cold Foot in early August and did really well on grayling. Hope you have a successful trip!

I have found them in many locations along Hwy 9 but on this trip they were along Nash Rd. Thanks for the question and for watching!
