Guys, please get Johan a real microphone. Half the time he sounds like he's under water.
He needs to go to a far less echo-y room. I'd say that is the bigger problem with his sound.
Yep acoustics.
I endorse!
@@yorletsinnavtube he needs to be in reading room. Book shelves and furniture. Heavy curtains! Haha.
I find it so strange that last year almost all “experts” said it was foolish and stupid of Pogacar to do both Giro and Tour. This year they expect without hesitation many top riders to do it?
Love it guys. Thanks
From yesterday's interview with Pogačar, it is easy to conclude that his racing schedule for next season will include:
UAE tour
Milano-Sanremo
Tour of Flanders
Liege
TDF
Rwanda RWC
Vuelta
So, if Remco wants to win any important race next year, he will have to go to the Giro and of course the TT of Rwanda. Pogačar will be in all other races that Remco has scheduled for himself, so the chances of winning for him on this races are minimal. This also means that Giro will be hot, Roglič will be there if he wants to avoid Pogačar, and Jonas will be there also if he wants to win anything next year. So, if everyone who wants to win one grand tour next year will be at the Giro, winning the TDF for Pogačar will be the easiest ever. 🤣 Giro, TDF and Vuelta should pay Pogačar to make grand tours hot!
Edit: I forget to add Lombardia, this is the important race that Pog will always race
It would be interesting to watch Pogi vs Roglic in La Vuelta, considering it's where Roglic best performs.
@@JeanPaulElsemaani if Roglič will go to Giro, then he will also go to Vuelta and not TDF, if Remco and Jonas will go to Giro they will go to TDF, in any case all grand tours will be hot if Pogačar will go to Vuelta and TDF!
@@33samogo Yes, the show is guaranteed.
Where is JB, is he gone from WEDU?
I've been wondering as well...
Johan is a legend....
Pogacar said he is planning to do Tour and Vuelta. To get ready for the climber friendly in Rwanda. Remco doing Giro Tour makes sense. His chance to win the Tour is slim with Pogi and Jonas. His chance to win Giro 100%. Why not.
Not if Jonas does the Giro as rumoured
Sir Jim as lost interest in cycling he knows his team ain't winning a grand tour for the next decade whilst pogacar is around he'll turn his focus and money on to the Manchester United project
Don't think many are too bothered about Ineos. For so many years Sky/Ineos took the life out out cycling. One person goes X metres at X watts, next person goes X metres at X watts. Have the second strongest rider just about as strong as the GC in the next strongest team. All those ruined Tour De France's in the 2010s. Only good thing from all that period of bore fest I guess is that we can so much more appreciate the current generation of racing..
Is 2025 the year Pogacar wins Milan- St Remo and decides to go for Roubaix and maybe not Flanders? Or maybe go for all 5 in the same year if he wins the first two monuments?
The more Johan and Spencer talk about Ineos, the more it sounds like Sir Jim wants to sell the license and focus his sport business on Man United. He's trying to dump all his highly paid personnel, on the bike and off. That could make it more attractive for a buyer. A deal to unload Tom Pidcock could be part of the final transaction. Am I wrong??
He’s bored with it.. no Tour win coming anytime soon..to him that’s probably all that matters.. I expect Ineos done by ‘26..
@@deluxx8456 will be crying myself to sleep if this happen (heavy sarcasm!)
Remco is easily the second best rider in world. Plus he is the best 30k time trialist he won Olympics as well as worlds so he even outrode Pogacar in one criteria.
But he is not the second best Grand Tour rider
Drafting Remco is like drafting a sparrow....
Soudal has a funding issue. If they had big brand money Remco will stay for his career.
Reno needs to believe in himself and take more risk
Ineos own 1/3 of Mercedes f1 too. The dividends will be 25m from that alone. The money is there
Surely either Brailsford is directed back to Team INIOS by Ratcliffe or the team folds
😊
PidCOCK is not a hen.
🙄
Michel Wuyts thinks he is the boss of UCI, ASO, Flanders Classics and quick step. The guy is a bad commentator, a horrible collegue and more full of himself then even Lance was at his peek.
Might as well since he's got 0 chance at the Tour
Remco needs to lose 2 kilo's to win the TDF, or at least be a serious contender to POGI
I think he lost the most weight he will ever lose in the TDF he just cant win that race.
He also cannot beat Jonas
2 kilos and he very well could...he has MORE power easily.
@@mickelkobeck7376I don't think so. 2 kg less and he would lose a lot of power. He was already skin and bones at the Tour. Remco might have been the leanest of all the riders. He is another statue than Jonas and will never be as good in the mountains I think. With enough TTs and downhill finishes, maybe. Lots of mountain finishes, not a chance. Honestly it's kind of insane Remco has been this good in the Grand Tours. Very very impressive. He can do it all, classics, TT, stage races. Jonas is a specialist due to his physical statue and extreme recovery abilities. But he's confined to this type of races I think.
Volledig mee eens johan wat wuyts betreft
Ineos is and embarrasment so are all their x riders they ho backwards every year even more than the last. Why? Only explanation for Ineos is that their doping programme is behind seriously they have on paper the best. Bernal had a vo2max. Over 90 Pidcock has gone backwards he didnt even win MTB worlds. Pidcock should be in Lidl trek
Pidcock won the Olympic MTB, that was the main goal. The Worlds would have been a bonus.....
