It hurts so much to see how much potential this game had and knowing it was ruined by greedy executives. So glad this work is being done. Just wish the other 2 parts of the story could've been done.
I think this makes the game feel more open and that way real. You feel lost in a city, where you need to hide from the police. You need to find your own path. Originally, there is only one path, making it too linear.
It might just be childhood nostalgia at work but I don't think I've ever played another game that's captured the dark isolated atmosphere that this game did during the Paris missions.

this is really sad. u can see they had so much more exploration for the players planned but had to cut everything short and cut off access to certain areas and the game designers just left them unfinished probably due to time constraint to release the game.

This is so cool! Seeing all these scrapped elements come together is wild! So that weird platform was a scaffolding structure, makes sense why it felt weird to climb. At this point I can almost imagine the city guide being brought back to this level.

i dont get why it has to be released on a certain date at the expense of the quality of the game. I still love this game but you can see a few moments when the transitions don't work. If they'd let them dot the i's and cross the t's it would be a very highly regarded game.

this was just an e3 test build none of that feature was in the final game. It was just for showcasing the hall of seasons to the audience it was never planned to look like this.
Is this a mod for the base game? Or is this a recreation in a different engine like Unity or Unreal? If the latter, how did you acquire the files for the areas and Lara and her animations?
Not “generic.” Accurate. Not to mention, the final version is the same level, but cut down drastically, so you’re essentially saying that you like less of the same “generic European city” better.
@@imfsresidentotaku9699 for context, I live in Paris :) Different neighborhoods have different looks but most of the city has a distinctive Paris look. The parts missing from the final version were the most generic ones in my opinion

Hi I'm modding my Italian version of TRAOD, I would like to know how to start the cutscene once you touch the door instead of starting automatically. What should I do? Thanks for anyone who replies.
Playing PS2 version I didn’t realize the jump at 6:41 was so huge. They should’ve put another camera angle at the ground floor for a more dramatic effect. I mean that’s like the 4th floor beginning of the game weak Lara, give us some clutching my pearls moment
