I honestly really appreciate how you don't have music playing in your background. I find myself much more focused LOL. Thank u Sarah for all the great tips!!!
Hey Sarah! Thank you for sharing this valuable information in such a simple yet beautiful format. One of my 2024 resolutions is Leaning into the Curve. I’m 47, going 48 this year. I’m restarting my Interior Design firm but rebranding it and myself. Social media is my Archilles Heel but I am diving into RUclips to figure out my presence and how to effectively manage and execute that presence. Excited to read into the free products you offer and start applying everything. Just wanted to express my gratitude for you and this video. ❤️
Amazing! Thank you. I am finally at a point where I want to sit down and dedicate a look and theme to how my IG will be. I have taken a look at your blog and I downloaded the E Books and signed up for the 3 day course. I know what vibe I want. Nature, colourful with greens, blues and oranges. To create that forest, meets ocean and sun energy. I love poses that are freeing and candid meets posed and sometimes editorial style. I really need to learn how to put all this together and there is so much to do and learn, but starting is the key I think. So let the games begin in creating this energy. I am excited to be learning from you !
Thanks so much! Let me know if you have any Qs you'd like me to answer in future videos. And, I have another Instagram Aesthetic video coming out this week, so be sure to check back!😘
Hey @@SarahDeshaw I was digging into your article about gaining your first 10k and I was interested in the attachment link "Pass the 10-second test" but it was a broken link, unfortunately!
I get it, and this was so easy when I was doing food on IG. However, I’m an artist now and my art varies so much in color it doesn’t look cohesive, it’s looks terrible, I won’t even post now. how do you do this with artwork without using a filter that will alter your artwork as a whole? 😊
Hi, I hope you will reply to my comment. I watched a couple of your videos and I hear what you're saying about colours throwing off your feed cohesion. I have a question about this. I know that many content creators and influencers are very intentional and plan colours and backgrounds they're shooting, but what if you also want to capture content of you attending events, with other people, whose outfits and backgrounds may clash with your theme? It's hard to take good content and follow all these rules when you're "in the moment" and these are people and things that you want to share as part of your story to your audience but would conflict with your feed colour cohesion. The only solutions I can think of is a) not post them, or b) only capture a reel and then put a reel cover over it that matches your feed. Do you have any better solutions and recommendations on how to deal with this? Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for the thoughtful comment! I need to make a video about this as this question comes up a lot! Here is what I recommend… If a cohesive feed is important to you, you could do what you mentioned with the reel, OR you could do a carousel post with an on-brand cover photo. Another option is to use an app like darkroom to selectively remove off brand hues. (I show how to do this in my cohesive brand membership but you could download darkroom and give it a try yourself!) If black and white photos is an option with your aesthetic, it’s a great time to do that! Those are a few of my favorite solutions. Does that help? If you need more help don’t hesitate to reach out!🤍
grace smith yes! I totally understand what you mean. It’s a matter of finding similar lighting (both intensity and tone of light). It can definitely be done! Try photographing in the shade rather I’m direct sunlight and see if that helps💗💗
