UGH, I'm going to have to get quinacridone rose now. It's not even an option. Yesterday, I painted the most beautiful raspberries, except they were not so beautiful in my version. This vibrant shade was obviously what was missing. Who needs money for food? (Also, thank you; this was just what I needed to see. I could afford to lose a couple of pounds anyway.)
Yes, I enjoyed watching your techniques and listening to your tips! Thank you. 😊 Are you using Daniel Smith’s original single pigment Quin Gold? If so, what will you be replacing it with?
Thank you! Funny story...for years, every time I bought more paint, I would (unconsciously) throw in a tube of Quinacridone Gold because it was my favorite. I didn't even realize I had collected about 6 or 7 tubes until I saw that they would be discontinuing the pigment. 🤣😂 So, I was one happy painter when I had realized that my very specific hoarding problem had actually paid off. Long story short...luckily, I don't have to worry about that for awhile. However, I saw a great video about that...I will look it up and get back to you with the details.
Art on the Brain Thank you again! I also just listened to her review of Winsor & Newton artists’ watercolor paints, made one month after the quin gold discussion in the link you gave me. She said W&N made maybe the best DS quin gold replacement! 👍 ruclips.net/video/EyUqmgx8KjA/видео.html
I enjoy your videos, that being said...it's difficult for me to subscribe to you because you haven't posted a new video in 11 months. Are you planning on posting more frequently or have you decided to let your channel die?
