I can confirm it looks a million times nicer (and more fun), than when I worked and lived down there. Now I *have* to go visit! GT did a fantastic job of re-imagining it, and Kara & Nate did justice to it. Well done! A completely "Five-oh" (perfect), job!
Stayed here a few days ago. Definitely a great experience! Shoutout to GT for the chance for my husband to check off one of his bucket list experiences.
Ahhh guys - thank you *SO MUCH* for the shoutout 😭 we really appreciate you 💖 That bunker is INSANE! Loved Nat’s attempt at making the room move 🤣 Shoutout to GT - a 10 year build, what a champion!
Guys, just watched your Mongolian rally documentary. What an adventure! Great piece of work to put that in 1video. I had tear in my eye as Feranda got on the podium
My wife and I stayed here a year ago. I had been following GT's channel and was so excited when his conversion project was nearing completion. Our stay happened to correspond with our move down south and I just happened across this video right before booking the Airbnb. This was a dream come true for me and I was so pleased that you guys made a video about your stay here. You gave an amazing tour of the complex. It really cemented my decision to book it. GT was a great host and when I met him I gushed like a little school girl. LOL
Interesting renovation. I worked in that AR silo when it was active. From a historic standpoint the shell is still accurate less the heart beat that once beat there. Thanks for the share, if you make it to AZ you should visit the Titan II museum to complete this adventure. :)
I love seeing Kara and Nate, they are like my couple goals for when I get older, and they are so amazing. I love to watch their videos practically 24/7. ❤️💜
Me to my husband every week: "So there is this travel RUclips channel that I watch called Kara and Nate and...." My husband to me every week: "You can just say "Kara and Nate" because I know who you're talking about." I'm so happy y'all have come up with a way to continue to travel during these times.
@strawberry helicopter if this video isn't your cup of tea, i highly recommend checking out some of their older stuff, especially from 2019 and 2020. I've watched a lot of travel channels on RUclips, but only follow 3, and this is one of them. The quality of their videos is top notch, and when they were traveling internationally they explored all sorts of interesting places and cultures and met all kinds of people.
@strawberry helicopter Try watching their vlogs on climbing to the Everest base camp or their adventures on the Siberian Express. If you saw how they started and followed how far they have come, you would understand.
I love that you guys get into the history of the adventure you’re in and to see life through a different perspective. I’m sure it has expanded your horizons to experience life to its fullest. Love it!
Hahaha I was just about to say this!!! Only missed the temperature conversion (F to C), but it's already really thoughtful that the metric system conversions is included! Not many American RUclipsrs do that.
thank you so so much for putting metric measurements in the videos as well. Im Australian and it made it a lot easier to understand, really appreciate it
This is so cool. In the Air Force I was a MMII missile mechanic. One reason the floors are hanging and the space away from the walls is if the ground around the silo or LCC is blasted they will sway and remain level. This allows a launch and for the LCC to sustain an impact. Really brave to climb that ladder without a body harness and retracting lanyard system.
Oh my goodness. @Kara and Nate. My father worked in that Sylo in the early 60's. Thanks, once again, for taking me along with you, from the Foothills of the Ozarks of Arkansas. Love ❤ yall.

A year ago I told my parents about Kara and Nate and ever since they have loved you guys, thx for being awesome, can't wait to watch the next video with my family! 💘 😻 💜
Yeah; my first thought on seeing the 'bare' circular-staircase opening: "why isn't there a railing around that?!" And then climbing out up the 50-ft. ladder?! Weird to think that my acrophobia (height-fear) might keep me from staying *underground!*
That is super cool, if you ever make it back to Arizona there is an intact silo complete with missile, minus warhead. And they'll let stay in the original crew quarters.
This is beyond cool. How many people can say they’ve stayed in a missile bunker. Taking social distancing to another level. You guys inspired us to start our own channel! Thanks!
Your Van Life has seriously given me retirement goals. Finished binge watching from Vlog 1 last night and was sad, so this was a nice surprise! Happy Birthday, Kara, and YAY to The Return of the Coffee Intro!
