One thing I have noticed about your solos and when you are onstage. when you play against your volume knob swelling and diminishing notes you FALL OUT of the MIX. or certain solo parts do the same. You may hear your guitar perfectly, but the audience not so much! Have you ever played without onstage monitors? If this ever happens to you, the first thought is to turn down, WRONG! YOU SHOULD ALWAYS TURN UP! But you need more, much more volume headroom to maintain a full range of dynamics expression! Turn up your Final volume and control it with your GUITAR volume nob! when you jump into "The BB King box" hit that volume, really give those whole step bends the gas! You need to really sell it "SUGER" I've noticed when you play against other guitarists they all over play you with volume! I know why this happens as well! You insisting to be clean and clear all the time. You are the master of clean!!!! Now learn how to make it SCREAM n MOAN! STAND ON WHOLE STEP BENDS! with tricky tremolo. or rapid slide downs to the proper accidental 1/2 step from any perfect or root pitch. All teachers and students should always be interchangeable!
