hey guys! Just seen this and wanted to say thanks so much for all the insights and discussions, have shared with the team cos theres a lot to learn about the way you unpack it and provide thoughtful discourse throughout. TLDR on the question around omega 3 - its more a longer term thing so if its a 90 day bottle and you just leave it out in light yes, and most of this is related to being in stores, whereas we are DTC, its made fresh, packed up and then its a 30 day supply so its absolutely fine in a clear bottle! You mentioned our £10 cost all in - OMG I WISH! Nice try but no sadly not even close (yet). Finally I think you mentioned about the best source of omega 3s, the most sustainable and potent source is from algae but at the end of the day theres an aspect of when youre dealing in ultra bioavailability, the right amounts and high quality sources anyway - its a bit tomato tomaaaahto - its all good for you at that point and most importantly, not a waste of your money like most stuff! Anyway - have shared with the team, they'll be in touch but wanted to just say I thought this was great, honest, really helpful and its appreciated that you spent time reviewing our product! We hope you stick around!!

Interesting discussion on heights. According to them 60% of their rrp is on ingredients for the pill. The rest of the price needs to cover packaging and distribution. I’m assuming they are outsourcing the manufacturing of the pills (costs of which is likely included in that 60%).
I believe they are working on a current margin of no need than 20% which will increase as they increase subscribers and likely increase the price by the end of the year, eventually working on margins of around 35-40%
There’s a really strong marketing machine at work here too which can’t be cheap, I think if they can get some celebrity endorsements they will slow down on the heavy marketing.
I think they’re aiming to make it a household name and are currently absorbing costs to try and make that happen.

      Really interesting breakdown!
Low profit start to build the brand, makes sense. I'll mention this in the episode coming out next week and we'll discuss this!
Thanks for the comment btw :)
