They offer challenges and group coordination. There should be raid specific gear for the reward of accomplishing a difficulty like so. Put in the work to get the rewards. Its that simple
I think that they will make them no longer Raid exclusives later on in the game’s life due to to the fact that Gear Sets like Aces and Eights, Negotiator’s Dilemma, and Tip of the Spear has this occur.
How about instead of worrying about the raid they fix the game first and buff the big horn cuz it's not that good rather have the raid come out late this summer even fall but focus on the fixes first
Big Horn and the loot u get in Legendary isnt worth it the huge effort... i cleared legendary THE NORMAL WAY like 6 times and from all the loot i could keep maybe about 5 pieces... then i got Big Horn. I was pretty excited til i realized that this weapon is trash like this... my rifle do more dmg than the big Horn in scoop with his 450% dmg... and its not even fun to Play with... 30 rounds are a joke... i was a bit disappointed putting so much effort to clear content and get nothing what it would worth for... like the exoboxes we got from the leagueevent. I got my 3rd sweet dreams from it.. i mean. Cmon. Why couldnt i get just 1 exo i hadnt own before... the exo Boxes, legendary and all the global events... all of them give u nothing what its worth the effort I mean the content itselves are pretty fun but the rewards just Disappointing...
They sound great assuming the bonuses/talents actually work unlike the rest of the gear sets in the game. Might be a good idea for them to fix the old gear sets before adding more broken sets.
@Billy 2 Smooth Foundry Bulwark and Tardigrade Chest Piece is literally old Nomad, just replace armour cores with damage cores. 4 piece Ongoing Directive with status effect attributes on the armour paired with the sadist weapon perks on a rifle/lmg and run Survivalist, and you have a better Predator's Mark, because you only have to hit once. Aces and Eights is Sentry's Call if you pair it with a Nemisis sniper/White Death then run it with The Apartment smg(knock off house, has perfectly measured). Just think about the old gear sets and how to remake them, right now I'm trying to recreate D3-FNC with True Patriot using Technician and the 1000 rpm tri burst pistol. If you want a build pretty similar to a D1 build just ask or start looking at weapon and armor perks and you can remake to be stronger.
thought how to make two different forms for the "Nomad" build, Dps and Tank. Dps is to use the coyote's mask from the season pass and an Eagle Bearer from the raid. The other guns would be The Apartment and a sawn off with the preservation perk. Your armor would be a Fenris chest piece with unbreakable and a Sokolov bag with Clutch/Composure/Unstoppable Force. The rest are Foundry Bulwark. The Idea would be to hit as hard as possible with the Eagle Bearer and take the delayed damage during a time while you are in cover. The of skills would be your choice of recovery hives and jammer pulse for gadgets. The specialization would be firewall because of its class weapon mod, med kit and causing enemies to burn on armour break. Tank would use the Lady Death smg, The Send Off shotgun for it's high ammo count and decent damage, and the same sawn off stated earlier for its perk. Tardigrade for team play and perk. Fenris/Badger Tuff bag with Companion for more damage and the rest are Foundry Bulwark for the 4 piece bonus. Skills would be the crusader shield and the artificer hive, since the hive would heal the shield in tandem with the 4 piece bonus from the gear set. Specialization is obviously the Technician for the hive and the free skill tier, the med kit which heals all skills near you, and the EMP grenade for black tusk enemies or controllers. I feel that both options are viable ways to build though, so do what you will. I loved Nomad in Division 1 and ran a full classified set of it with the Warlord and House weapons. In my opinion this is stronger than the original Nomad gear.
They only suck for people that don't know how to build and play them correctly. Striker is better than people give it credit for. True Patriot is a _nasty_ support build. Negotiator's Dilemma is insanely strong if built right. The game is very different from the first, and in my opinion, for the better. There's a few things I'd like to see changed, sure. As well as some bugs that *NEED* to be fixed ASAP. But, fundamentally, the game is much better than the first. You just have to adapt to it and stop trying to play it like it's TD1. Adapt and overcome, or cry in the corner. I feel like it's a broken record. Throughout the entire life of the first game, everyone cried every time they made significant changes to the game. But, instead of throwing hissy fits, people needed to adapt. To learn. The crybaby periods were shorter back then because they had Marco to teach them how to make builds. Since he's not around for TD2, people are too lazy to actually learn how to play the game themselves. So, instead of figuring things out on their own, they just call the game trash. They want someone else to tell them how and what to build, so they can cheese it until the meta shifts.
Launch of the second raid kind of depends when that promise-near time was given. Covid-19 is clearly affecting the dev team so if that comment of when it launches was made before the virus, then we could see a longer delay. :(
Not affecting them in fixing this player glitches. They last 24 hours tops. They have the power to get the game fixed and on time so just remember it's all excuses from them now.

Why more gearsets? There are already like 20 different ones... Instead make a few good ones like in the Div 1, and fix the game. 20 gear sets? There are eight. That's less than TD1 had at the end of year 1. This IS their attempt to introduce a few good gear sets. It's not about the amount, they just can't seem to get it right.

I'm not excited about new gear sets. That's just more stuff to water down the already hard Rng. I haven't gotten an exotic weapon drop in WONY yet. And I'm on level 55
I farmed for probably 30 hours for new smg, bullet king etc and I've gotten five chameleons. I out new York on the hardest difficulty then started farming just the faction boxes at control points in financial district. Hope that helps

Stacking content on a broken game isn't really that exciting. Did they fix hard wired or patriot yet? But yeah more broken stuff in a raid that what maybe 5 percent if the game population will participate in?
Gear sets are pointless. I can make stronger dps and skill builds with High Ends and Named gear. Gear sets dont feel anything like Division 1. Like I said, they are pointless.
