Oh wow. I stopped playin december 2019 coz i didn't like what they did after the update and just checked back today after 3 months what changes were implemented and i gotta say this turned into a completely different game. No trace of whatever it was during launch.
A good rule of thumb for me is never go looking for exotics 😂 I always tend to get them when not hunting them.... they’re like shiny Pokémon in that aspect. I found the Tardigrade chest last night doing view point museum on challenging.
Jay I got the holster, which is good, it adds burn to any enemy within 20metres while in combat, that was from the Vivian Conley (tanker) mission, and the Bullet king from the Theo Parnell mission.. both on just hard difficulty..
Jay yes, this morning, I just matchmake on hard, but it took a good 10-15 runs at it.. to be honest it’s not that good, there’s no flinch to the enemy, they just charge/shoot you, they don’t retreat or evade, it’s like I’m throwing cotton wool at them.. the Nedgev is better in comparison even after its nerf.. same sort of base stats now and it has flinch..

The difficulty is just mess up , i would like see devs show us how they manage a mission in world tier challenging and mission in challenging in group of 4 ! Show us the way Massive
All the Exotics I have got so far I've gotten on hard difficulty, why make it harder and longer for completed missions for just a 2% extra chance of dropping when you can rinse and repeat the same mission easily and stack those percentage chances at a far greater rate overall. Do the math and make it easy for yourself. Yes it's nice to do things on a harder difficulty for the challenge, but it really isn't necessary for acquiring Exotics apart from the Exotic "Bighorn" AR which does require you to complete on Legendary difficulty to have any chance of it to drop.
@@rouge4551 So far by doing it this way, I've got the Bullet King four times already from the same mission on hard. People I know that are doing it on a harder setting, haven't even got it once yet. Just proves it really.
@@rouge4551 I won't say I'm not lucky with my drops, but also 20 times is a low estimate. I've done the same mission every day of the week x10 a day. Got the Lady Death last night from an open world boss too. The only new Exotic I haven't got now is the Bighorn AR. So I do an open world boss every half an hour on respawn in the same place everytime and inbetween that I've been doing the League, which is all now complete. I got the level 40 Diamondback Exotic rifle from the Exotic cache, which is a really good drop for my OP rifle build. Now everything is done and complete on Seasons and Leagues, it's back to farming Dragov for a better variant of the Bullet King until the next Seasons target unlocks.
@@rouge4551 I do roughly get 1-2 Exotics a day doing my normal run through or farms. So compared to some I'm lucky, compared to others who do even better than that, im not. It's pure luck and that is in my personal opinion, definitely increased by the amount of playtime you put in, though this isn't and always necessarily the case.
Acosta Go Bag is easily best exotic right now. With overcharge you'll get 7m+ radius on firestarter chem launcher. Time it right, and you can easily set set 5-7 enemies on fire, with 315k damage per tick, for 7-14 seconds. On solo guaranty kill any non-elite enemies, and effective cc of elites (with still severely damaging them).
The thing from Acosta’s Go-Bag from my experience is that you don’t have to damage the enemy with the grenade. You can just chuck them and it’ll proc “One in Hand...”
Those stats for the mask look nice if you run an AR build with either an SMG or Rifle/Marksman for extreme range encounters. SMG's core attribute of Critical Chance and Rifle's Core Attribute of Critical Damage synergize well with the mask's supposed stats, and then an AR is a good intermediary that gets a little of both. I'm still early on in my loot progression for TU8/WNY, no new exotics yet, but I feel like I should disassemble and then re-farm the parts for Chatterbox and Liberty so I can have some exotic components to upgrade some of my old exotics to level 40 (Pestilence got a HUGE buff in how it functions in TU8/Warlords since they got rid of the poison cloud and just had each hit stack a DoT effect that can attach to a new enemy if the current victim dies). I'm curious about the double-barreled KSG and the gold-ornamented Revolver they showed off in some of the preview footage. I presume the revolver, since it featured a golden dragon ornamentation design, might be designed to be used alongside the exotic holster (Which could cause the effects of one or both to get better if they're used together). Any big recommendations as far as gear set and exotic synergy? I'd bet a four-piece Striker's set with a good piece for the High End talent and a decent Exotic talent would be good depending on what you're going for, beyond that it's deciding what weapons to get. I love Shotguns and ARs on my Firewall right now, though obviously I'm square-brained and built for Skill Tier instead of Armor (If I built for Armor I could use the Point Man named High End to be a major credit to my party when I pull out my shield). I feel like build diversity and potential combinations went up a lot in TU8, as opposed to prior to Warlords' release where there were just a few really broken powerful builds. As far as public matchmaking before Warlords came out I never saw anyone who wasn't using Seeker Mines. Two Tardigrade chest pieces dropped from open world boss and bounty boss in New York. Don't remember which faction but it was NY and not DC. Wasn't farming exotics, these dropped on normal difficulty, same for Lady Death.
That holster can be really good if you have a build based off of better damage with a status affect that with bloodsucker and vigilance I believe is the chest piece talent.
5:11 I heard Lady Death drops from named Hyenas. Ie bounties. 6:57 also that is the Division interactive map. Just google Division 2 interactive map. It’s a great tool.
First try on tombs challenging got the bullet king. Best method i can recommend is chatterbox and mag dumping the boss when he comes out. I did this exact thing with hollow points and brought him from half armor and full health to nothing in a matter of 2 seconds.
Don't feel so bad that the loot gods don't smile on you, it happens to a lot of us. Me, for the longest time only exotics I had were the crafted ones. Then from January 2020 till the expansion I found the Exotic Drops were falling like fresh snow in winter. From Merciless, to Sawyers Kneepads to the BTSU gloves, I got them all. Right now, once I get a good build I'll hunt the 10 new exotics, and wait until I can upgrade my lvl 30 ones (don't really want to refarm the ones I already have). Only exotic I don't have is EB, but thats because I don't really have to time or luck to find a stable group to run Dark Hours (Heck is it wasn't for Discovery I would have never been able to play Dark Hours).
In one week leading up to TU8/Warlords coming out I accidentally (Read: Wasn't farming for) got Pestilence (Grand Washington Hotel, was doing it to get the hyena boxes to rebuild chatterbox and it happened to be Targeted Loot: LMG), Sawyer's Kneepads (Grand Washington Hotel, final boss, same run), and Sweet Dreams (Elite Territory Control, Targeted Loot: Shotguns). I really want Chameleon, Bullet King, Lady Death (Lady Death sounds especially brutal for a run-and-gun shield firewall build I'm using atm), Big Horn, and the other WNY exotic weapons (The Double-Barreled KSG and the gold dragon revolver they showed off in preview footage of Warlords are the yet-unreleased ones referenced here if my assumption is correct). Of the ones I can reasonably get, considering I dragged my broken body through the broken glass and asbestos for Merciless for months without a drop, I feel like I'll have to use a whole lot of lotion and bed rest before I finally get Big Horn or most of the armor. Still don't have the BTSU gloves, and I'm still disgusted with how much they nerfed the dodge city gunslinger holster and Kendra's Liberty.
@@LethalvD Hopefully. I spent the last week running heroic missions. I've lost count by now, and the most I got was a single gear set piece for Spear. Absolutely ridiculous. I don't remember the RNG in D1 being this bad.

I got the Backpack and Lady Death from Random Name Yellow guys. The area I found NE of Haven. The area you got the SHD case in the Sewer. Above the sewer is a “supply drop” that comes every 15-20 mins a Yellow Name boss appear. I go for the Yellow Boss instead and pass on the Supply Crate. Did it twice. Got it twice. Gave the 2nd one to my friend. Good luck.
I got my BulletKing off of the Dragov Rikers mission, and I know of some others who got it from there too. All the people that I know that have it, got it on hard difficulty. Rather than take hours doing the hardest settings. Just farm the Riker missions on an easier setting so you can clear and complete multiple times and increase your odds that way.
“Pretty simple/easy” that is the complete opposite of what the bullet king and lady death are. I have ran the tombs and Wall Street on challenging over 30 times, and killed every single open world boss twice. It’s just complete luck and most of us are out of it
Stop doing it on challenging, just do it on hard. Better to rinse and repeat easily and increase your percentage chances overall that way than take longer with less completed for a 2% drop chance increase. For the time you take to do one mission on challenging, I could of done it 2-3 times on hard. Obviously this all depends on how good your build is and if you're running in a group or solo. This is how me and my friends got it on hard pretty quickly.

I had that exact same conclusion the second I completed my first challenging mission Im new thanks to the $3 sale and I just got to gear score 508 yesterday (all solo) so I tried my first challenging mission for a project and it was so much harder for barely anything extra I knew there was no point in doing it again
I was running the dragov mission for bullet king like 6 times on challenging. You suggested the tomb and I was like I’ll give it a shot.. and it was so annoying at the end boss lmao. But I got it the first run
I'm done with this game. It's sad that you can't get a guarantee drop for playing these difficulty. I hate when developers destroy a very good game. I practically wasted my time farming last year just for them to launch an update to drop all my exotics to 30 and limited my fav guns. And jack bbn up the difficulty to impossible. By time they fix this most people will be done with this game.What a spit in our face smh
ok, i think im the only one who knows the true secret to "lady death", because if you are firing bullets out of it, you are doing it wrong. been holding out on this secret for awhile. however, here it is. you use the buff to increase your skill dmg. i can hit around 4 mil per shot holding the weapon, while using sniper turret, and yes, it does boost all skill dmg by 60%. If you are firing the weapon, you are wasting its buff.
Yo the feels with horrible rng I to suffer from this. Been trying to get the exotic chest for a tank support build but no luck thanks for you the info look forward to the next.
They lock stuff behind content and grind and then change all the talents on a whim and then tell you they are not sure if they are gonna let you upgrade legacy exotics after paying for an expansion. There are as many reasons not to grind for these things as there are to support the effort.
I mean, RNG favored you. 1% and 3% are pretty slim odds, but at-best for the hardest difficulty you can get a 7% drop rate, which isn't even a 1/10 chance. It's all about spinning that wheel as many times as you can until it lands on the slice of the pie that gives you the prize. Better to get things when you're not even actively farming for them so you get pleasantly surprised rather than grind for hours at a time getting nothing, aye?
Basically, every time they launch they forget that majority of players have a life and play the game for enjoyment. This expansion its a slap in the face to 90% of the player base with hiding anything decent behind hardcore content. They have already emergency nerfed everything outside of that, including vendor rolls. They have something good again and they spoil it chasing everyone away . Got enough of heroic and legendary missions in everyday life.
Well said. This game is what happens when a company like Ubisoft farms for enough nerds to make a good enough "live service" build to farm our wallets.
Well there is plenty of stuff for everyone to enjoy no matter how little time you can play. But it only makes sense to have certain content that requires more effort to get. Do you need any of it to be able to play all parts of the game? No. If you are that casual you won‘t be farming missions on heroic anyway. But asking that all loot is basically given to you without effort because you don‘t have much time is just selfish.
The really good stuff is locked behind "grind walls" because it's supposed to be good and shouldn't be given to anyone that breathes. You have to work hard to earn something. Why would you play a looter shooter like division expecting things would get handed to you
I'm personally hunting for the Tardigrade, because with Tip of the Spear's ability to generate signature ammo I can easily reset the buff frequently with my crossbow.
Mine dropped from farming viewpoint museum... currently wearing it for TP armor set... might have to loop into it for Tip... rather someone in the group have it than lose some of the dps from chest with overwatch
Tip of the Spear is a cheesy was build and needs to go ASAP. There's no way I should be able to sit in a DZ checkpoint for 6mins gain 6 grenade launchers, enter the Dz and just wreck people. It's unfair they said they took specialization ammo out for PvP in DZ but yet if you have that gear set you can just torture people. Just tells me these Devs never really played there game and rush this content out because the game was dying and on life support. Cause there's so many bugs and things people are not talking about and Tip of the Spear is on of them. I wish someone would talk about this shit already. Stay bless fellaz.

I hate how strong the AI is After the new update. I know people wanted the game to be harder but the AI is too strong. Theres no fun in getting rushed on heroic and then being two shot Killed and then starting from the beginning again. I know people wanted the game to be harder but this is some high grade bullshit
It's not that its hard...it is just so spongy. Not a lot of fun sitting pumping magazines of ammo into npcs. A few runs Ive even run out of ammo in spots. Make it harder...but use quicker smarter npcs....not sponges!

I playd this week whit a friend in a group PvE in the open world. In a Mission tue boss droppd the exo kneepads. I couldnt believe it bc i heard u can ONLY get it in the dz.... guess it drops in open world too ....✌

Not sure if the Ninja knee pads are dark zone exclusive. I have them and haven't touched the dark zone since wony dropped. Don't remember exactly when I got them but I know I wasn't in the dark zone.
Does running solo affect the percentage? For ex i run a mission for challenging for the Exotic LMG in solo does the chance rate still 5%? Or it needs to be 4 man in mission to get 5% chance rate?
My RNG sucks since TU8. I'm level 51 and have done countless bounties, hunted endless named enemies in NY, CP level 4, targeted loot, challenging world tier and opening faction boxes not one exotic. I think exotics are bugged for me or game hates me.
The go bag sounds good for an explosives skill build, and the tardigrade would go well with the tip of the spear armor set, and probably even better with the minigun specialization

I got two off the same open world boss in NYC, one of them was a Black Tusk dude
All named bosses in NYC can drop lady death got it 3 times now 1 from a black tusk robot dog named Betty and Adam and Eve.

This game is going to drop off in player count again if they keep making the grind for content so unrewarding.
the season is about to start so that will give us more rewards

I got the Backpack and Lady Death from Random Name Yellow guys. The area I found NE of Haven. The area you got the SHD case in the Sewer. Above the sewer is a “supply drop” that comes every 15-20 mins a Yellow Name boss appear. I go for the Yellow Boss instead and pass on the Supply Crate. Did it twice. Got it twice. Gave the 2nd one to my friend.

I got my BulletKing off of the Dragov Rikers mission, and I know of some others who got it from there too. All the people that I know that have it, got it on hard difficulty. Rather than take hours doing the hardest settings. Just farm the Riker missions on an easier setting so you can clear and complete multiple times and increase your odds that way.
Shinuki San only takes 15 minutes or less to run through heroic

“Pretty simple/easy” that is the complete opposite of what the bullet king and lady death are. I have ran the tombs and Wall Street on challenging over 30 times, and killed every single open world boss twice. It’s just complete luck and most of us are out of it

Stop doing it on challenging, just do it on hard. Better to rinse and repeat easily and increase your percentage chances overall that way than take longer with less completed for a 2% drop chance increase. For the time you take to do one mission on challenging, I could of done it 2-3 times on hard. Obviously this all depends on how good your build is and if you're running in a group or solo. This is how me and my friends got it on hard pretty quickly.

Im new thanks to the $3 sale and I just got to gear score 508 yesterday (all solo) so I tried my first challenging mission for a project and it was so much harder for barely anything extra I knew there was no point in doing it again
I was running the dragov mission for bullet king like 6 times on challenging. You suggested the tomb and I was like I’ll give it a shot.. and it was so annoying at the end boss lmao. But I got it the first run

I'm done with this game. It's sad that you can't get a guarantee drop for playing these difficulty. I hate when developers destroy a very good game. I practically wasted my time farming last year just for them to launch an update to drop all my exotics to 30 and limited my fav guns. And jack bbn up the difficulty to impossible. ok, i think im the only one who knows the true secret to "lady death", because if you are firing bullets out of it, you are doing it wrong. been holding out on this secret for awhile. however, here it is. you use the buff to increase your skill dmg. i can hit around 4 mil per shot holding the weapon, while using sniper turret, and yes, it does boost all skill dmg by 60%. If you are firing the weapon, you are wasting its buff.

Yo the feels with horrible rng I to suffer from this. Been trying to get the exotic chest for a tank support build but no luck thanks for you the info look forward to the next.
They lock stuff behind content and grind and then change all the talents on a whim and then tell you they are not sure if they are gonna let you upgrade legacy exotics after paying for an expansion. There are as many reasons not to grind for these things as there are to support the effort.
They have released lvl 40 upgrades for a few of the old exotics check yr bench

I mean, RNG favored you. 1% and 3% are pretty slim odds, but at-best for the hardest difficulty you can get a 7% drop rate, which isn't even a 1/10 chance.
It's all about spinning that wheel as many times as you can until it lands on the slice of the pie that gives you the prize. Better to get things when you're not even actively farming for them so you get pleasantly surprised rather than grind for hours at a time getting nothing, aye?
Dude that backpack is underrated already. There is no cd on overcharge as long as you have a gernade you have an overcharge ready to use
Basically, every time they launch they forget that majority of players have a life and play the game for enjoyment. This expansion its a slap in the face to 90% of the player base with hiding anything decent behind hardcore content. They have already emergency nerfed everything outside of that, including vendor rolls. They have something good again and they spoil it chasing everyone away . Got enough of heroic and legendary missions in everyday life.
Well said. This game is what happens when a company like Ubisoft farms for enough nerds to make a good enough "live service" build to farm our wallets.
Well there is plenty of stuff for everyone to enjoy no matter how little time you can play. But it only makes sense to have certain content that requires more effort to get. Do you need any of it to be able to play all parts of the game? No. If you are that casual you won‘t be farming missions on heroic anyway. But asking that all loot is basically given to you without effort because you don‘t have much time is just selfish.
The really good stuff is locked behind "grind walls" because it's supposed to be good and shouldn't be given to anyone that breathes. You have to work hard to earn something. Why would you play a looter shooter like division expecting things would get handed to you

The backpack is actually really usefull for perks players and now i never run out of ammo 🤷♂️
I'm personally hunting for the Tardigrade, because with Tip of the Spear's ability to generate signature ammo I can easily reset the buff frequently with my crossbow.

Tip of the Spear is a cheesy was build and needs to go ASAP. There's no way I should be able to sit in a DZ checkpoint for 6mins gain 6 grenade launchers, enter the Dz and just wreck people. It's unfair they said they took specialization ammo out for PvP in DZ but yet if you have that gear set you can just torture people. Just tells me these Devs never really played there game and rush this content out because the game was dying and on life support. Cause there's so many bugs and things people are not talking about and Tip of the Spear is on of them. I wish someone would talk about this shit already. Stay bless fellaz.

Remember you can get the Bullet King by doing The Tombs in story mode. The rolls might suck but it's possible to get it in that mode.

got bullet king decent roll 11 lmg dmg / 9 crit dmg , the exotic backpack and ninja kneepads god roll maxed out wpn dmg / crit chance / 9 crit dmg yesterday all in one day lol
Most of these exotics now just feel like collectors items with all the nerfs.
The old ones were nerfed yes. A matter of time before they nerf the new ones.

I hate how strong the AI is After the new update. I know people wanted the game to be harder but the AI is too strong. Theres no fun in getting rushed on heroic and then being two shot Killed and then starting from the beginning again. I know people wanted the game to be harder but this is some high grade bullshit
It's not that its hard...it is just so spongy. Not a lot of fun sitting pumping magazines of ammo into npcs. A few runs Ive even run out of ammo in spots. Make it harder...but use quicker smarter npcs....not sponges!
You have to have a designated healer now. If you have content gets a little bit easier but it is pretty difficult

I playd this week whit a friend in a group PvE in the open world. In a Mission tue boss droppd the exo kneepads. I couldnt believe it bc i heard u can ONLY get it in the dz.... guess it drops in open world too ....✌
Knee Pads 3% Chance to get them. Me: After leveling up to 40. First time in the DZ. Supply Drop after 5 Minutes and got them.
My kneepads were gifted by clan mate who already had his while in the open world.
I found the backpack 3 times from random crates. First time just before fighting Keener. Also 4 times from faction crates.
I think the big horn should be only available for challenging/heroic/legendary 2/4/6% chances

It was bugged and doing 50% more damage than it should have with it's rpm.

Not sure if the Ninja knee pads are dark zone exclusive. I have them and haven't touched the dark zone since wony dropped. Don't remember exactly when I got them but I know I wasn't in the dark zone.
Does running solo affect the percentage? For ex i run a mission for challenging for the Exotic LMG in solo does the chance rate still 5%? Or it needs to be 4 man in mission to get 5% chance rate?

My RNG sucks since TU8. I'm level 51 and have done countless bounties, hunted endless named enemies in NY, CP level 4, targeted loot, challenging world tier and opening faction boxes not one exotic. I think exotics are bugged for me or game hates me.

The go bag sounds good for an explosives skill build, and the tardigrade would go well with the tip of the spear armor set, and probably even better with the minigun specialization
For the holster they need to decrease it to 5 Seconds instead of 20 seconds
