Gah dayum! You are way too good! How did you move the gun freely in all directions like that!? Unknown worlds should hire you.
I was using custom commands that let me change the the target coordinates of the laser beam! The game's already programmed to have the gun physically swivel to aim at its target.
I also had separate commands that controlled the angle of the gun barrel and laser beam VFX. Before recording each shot of the gun firing, I had to make sure that the laser animation lined up with the actual gun since the two were programmed separately.

Since the QEP is powered by ion energy, wouldn't half the planet be screwed if it blew up? Not to mention the Doomsday Device being in there as well. I think that the whole solar system would feel that in the morning.

Depends how much power is stored in the weapon itself and not transfered from the thermal plant.
About doomsday, explosion wouldn’t necessarily trigger it because I don’t think activating it would be an easy task like pushing a button, it also can have more ways of causing dd, then just explosion, we don’t know much after all🙃
Depends, I mean look at nukes, you can’t detonate nukes by intercepting it, you need to make it reach criticality so shooting down nukes would just make it’s radioactive contents spill out and not start a nuclear reaction and even normal missiles are the same, you can’t detonate a missile by dropping it accidentally or like how high explosives needs a primer to detonate, try burning a dynamite with a match, there needs to be a certain chain reaction to trigger it and not just anything can make a weapon detonate specially advanced alien weaponry like the doomsday device that can annihilate parts of a solar system there should be layers of safety features around it but who knows

I don't know how you remove the Neptune rocket or sit inside the cyclops while you escape but if the rocket flips upside down you can take the planet itself with you

Wow amazing short film, just started playing subnautica recently and love it and got this recommended to me and love it. All in Subnautica too wow must've been difficult.
Next video in this series (ur gonna need the return of the ancients mod) the Architects take notice of the destruction of their quarantine Defence platform, and build thousands of Ion Cyclops to blockade the planet, and when the character returns, his ship is quickly swarmed and forced to the planet’s surface (I’ll leave the rest of the video up to u)

Even though those tactical nukes that were destroyed didn’t create a nuclear explosion, Special forces is super broken. That was super cool especially when you somehow made the cyclops go at light speed. I also love how you gave subtitles to you and the alien gun. Although my question is, why did you suddenly just leave the planet without any explanation?
In reality, it's because I figured out how to put the Cyclops into the ending cutscene and really wanted to find a way to include those clips in the video haha. Though in-universe, destroying the gun allowed the player to finally leave the planet and go to space without being shot down.
