If you spawn a bunch of leviathans in the air at the same time, they will look up and want to go back where they spawned. I tested it out with a bunch of Reapers on my beefy PC.
I can never be scared of ghost Leviathan because they way the swim at you when they charge reminds me of the way my fish swims against the glass when he's hungry, so I think they're adorable! 😂
Fiery Ghost Leviathan look so much more scary then the dork sea dragon. I´m impressed that such a simple idea (though execution must be hell), repeated so many time, you still manage to surprise me. Ghost Leviathan Explosion hell yeah! Now i go watch the sequel. Wish you the best of luck in the new year!
Okay, I have a really pressing question that I'd appreciate if you'd respond to it. I was wondering you you were able to first: go into freecam to get those cool shots while the Aurora was launched off, how you spawned ghost leviathans during the rocket animation, and also how you got the ghost leviathans to behave. I've been scowering the Subnautica wiki on it, and I'd love if you'd reply. Love your amazing videos by the way!
SpeedyMouse Thank you!!! For the rocket scenes, I used the “kill” command after the cutscene was activated which forces the player to leave the cutscene and respawn at the Lifepod. I then teleported back to the rocket coordinates and did “freecam” in order to catch exterior shots of the rocket. In order to have an easier time with recording the rocket I set the speed of the game to 0 in order to spawn the Ghost Leviathans in the correct locations around the rocket before setting the speed back to 1.
For the Ghost Leviathan behavior, I did "spawn Ghost Leviathan 100 1000" (first number is number of creatures to spawn, second is distance at which they are spawned) pointing straight up into the sky. When creatures are spawned in the sky, their AI makes them want to swim back up to where they were spawned, making them face upwards. I repeated that six times to get the correct number to show up.
Imagine swimming in the void amd 600 ghost leviathans chase you all the way back to the safe shallows and you thought you were gonna die but they just wanted to rave

I legitimately can not remember when I last laughed this hard for this long. Thank you for the funniest thing I have watched all year. I just finished a full playthrough of the game over the past week. I think all my recent suspenseful interactions with them in-game made it all too hilarious to see them in this fashion. Bravo!
