great point re openness to new music, rather than staying solely in the comfort zone.

Hey Kesha - Yes. pushing away thoughts won't be a long-term viable solution.

Hey! I’ve been thinking that how long should I actually keep disputing my irrational beliefs daily? I’ve been doing it first thing in the morning almost a month now, and I have a whole damn book almost full of disputing, and I’ve been thinking that is a month enough? Of course, I’ll keep reading books and practicing REBT as it is a life philosophy, but the disputing easily becomes compulsive

Hey Purple! Yes, I did this many times, I would take a month off from paper disputing.

Hi I’ve been suffering from anxiety for a good 6 months now after some health issues. It’s only recently I have been getting a lot of intrusive thoughts. My brain seems to hit me with a new one most days. It’s quite exhausting and disturbing. It hit me with a new thought that I have to repeat every conversation I have in my head even watching the tv is hard as that triggers the whole thing as well. How would you manage this as I try not to do it but it just creates more. Do I just let my mind do it which is absolutely exhausting. I’m perplexed at what to do.

Hey Bob - Yes, there is large degree where you need to let your brain do this no matter how much is brings you out of the present moment.
