How can I better improve my mountains, they always look to linear and compact, where as yours look so well spaced and aligned. You mentioned that you prefer using a tablet over a mouse, does that help with distributing the mountains better?
The use of the tablet is mostly about saving time but it does also help a bit in getting it better spaced out indeed. With the tablet and pen it's easier to 'fill' an area rather than moving the cursor in lines. With a mouse you mostly move it from A to B and the mountains appear on a line between A and B. With a pen on a tablet you 'zigzag' (like scratching or I don't know exactly how to describe it in English) between A and B so instead of a line, you get an area filled with mountains. Another tip in case you didn't know: for the trees and mountains brush, on the right side of the screen you can change the placement rate and placement density. Playing around with that may also help you achieving what you're looking for.
If you go to cartographyassets.com and search for Lapis, you will find them. There are two packs of trees and mountains by Lapis (which I combined into one folder, so I don't know which tree is from which pack).
