Thank you for helping me to sort out my midi mapping, Unfortunately it has lead me to further problems that I did not correct when I first started working remotely with agutarist, let me explain, firstly a guitarist sent me a a few guitar tracks with his own audio click track and we worked on that together I added real drums and vocals but the midi keys were always out, so after seeing your video I was able to sync the audio click that was sent to the midi click within protools the original BPM was 120 and now BPM 135.0482 but now the midi keys and newly imported guitars do sync they sound too fast, is there a way to fix this or do I have to re record all over again? I hope this makes sense Thanks
@@bridgie011 Good Morning, Happy New Year! One way to possibly fix this issue is make a New Session. Then import your Audio Files and make a click track to match the BPM of those audio files. Then once you have the audio and click track in sync, you can use import session data, and bring in those MIDI channels. What I think occurred in your original session is audio is Not Time Based, like midi and effects. So when you change the BPM of the session the click matched the audio, but the audio shouldn’t move locations. The midi audio on the other hand will move according to the grid and BPM assigned unless you change it from a Click Based track. Last option: change the midi to audio and use time stretch to align it in time. Best Wishes.
I'm having trouble bc everytime I mark my place I hit shift then return and it separates it but as soon as I hit pause or space bar to stop the song it disappears everytime and I lose my spot
Rainy Angel Hip Hop shift+return should highlight a section. You can use Command+E when selected to cut that section. You can also cut the section using “B” for the blade. Let me know if this helps you
this video is a dope ass video but the only problem is that its on a Mac as not on a PC every video that I look at nobody is doing this on a PC not everybody can afford a Mac damn sure I can't that's why I'm working with a PC it's getting real frustrating that you trying to apply the same method on a PC but it's not the same it's different key commands I get it people don't like people that use personal computer i get it

How do I do this on a studio one
Never used studio one, but you could count out the BPM or use a BPM counter app to figure out tempo...
