bruce cops to effin' up this situation. he also says over and over and over that they rarely if ever watched other promotion's shows so i can believe that he didn't know who K-dogg was. but i'm almost sure Konnan would've been recognized by Prichard since Konnan (the wrestlign name) was in WWE and was a legend in the business.

Konnan wasn’t the same caliber of worker that Jericho, Malenko, Rey, Eddy, Juvi, Saturn, etc were. Pritchard probably wanted tapes to see if Konnan had improved, because he wasn’t great in 1990 or even in 1997. If you listen to his story about winning the TV title from Jericho, Konnan even admits that his work at the time was shit and Jericho was trying to fire him up to try and get a good match out of him.
