Started doing handstands 4 months ago from zero. I can now get into it, and hold the balance for maybe 3-4 seconds before I lose balance. This video is really helpful!!!

i can hand walk for 40 seconds but stand for only 5-10 seconds.. i have to walk a bit before i can stabilize into a stand though.. completely self taught.. really digging these great tips and realistic routines..

Yo Gabo, I’ve been practicing your daily routine for almost 2 weeks. I max out at about 4-5 seconds. I’m not sure what my biggest weakness is, probably balance due to lack of mobility. Thanks for all of your info!
Great video! just recently started calisthenics and i slowly wanna work my way up to handstand holds. On the wall, i can do it for 1-2mins, depending on form, but off wall is like 2 seconds :D so, your whole handstand teaching videos are much appreciated! i love em all! Thanks a lot man!
Amazing video bro this is going to help big time I know it haha. At the moment I can hold a good handstand without moving for around 5-10 seconds. I can honestly say that I've came a long way. Thank you, this video is really helpful. I'll start practicing these drills and will see the results. Been training handstand for almost a year now. I have started with zero balance, and now I'm getting better at it, it kind of clicks into my fingers and wrists. My record in balance without the wall it's about 7-second max. Shoulders sometimes collapse, so probably your drills will be appreciated. Core it's not so strong, as I tend to break my line by closing/opening/moving the hips. It's all a work in progress!!! But really enjoying step by step the whole journey. Namaste!

I can hold the handstand for 1 min 30 secs but i have to improve my position because lack of flexibility in my shoulders, but i will take my time to fix it following your tips 💪 great videos gabo! I'm recomending them to all my friends beginning with the handstand

My max hold for free standing handstand is 5 secs . I lack shoulder strength and endurance thats why I keep falling after 5 secs of hold.....and thanks for the routine you gave

PS : My max hold is 30 Seconds without assistance but I couldnt hold it straight , I was walking the forward and backward , I do know I have to use my fingertips in order to keep balance so I got to fix that soon :D

Been doing handstands since April 4th, as in started the handstand journey then. I can get a 3 second hold if I’m lucky, my issue is balance, I believe with time I can increase handstand hold time, but I need the balance first

Lol I can't even hold a handstand. I do realize what I'm at least doing wrong. I'm not getting the practice that I need, but that's going to change. From now on learning a handstand is my number one priority.
love all your stuff Gabo! I used to think I was pretty good at handstands lol. I can hold an inverted position for over a minute, but as of late have learned a ton about true core engagement, shoulder flexibility, and hamstring flexibility holding me back from getting into a really straight position(making my press hand stands suffer as well). That being sad, I really started trying to gain some flexibility in my shoulders and hamstrings. I've got a long way to go with my hamstrings -_-, but have been making prettty good progress with my shoulders(as per your last video)...buuut, now I feel like my shoulders feel strained/ weak when doing handstands and muscle ups. Not sure if i'm over doing it? Or if theres other things I should be focusing on. If you read this whole post I really appreciate it and hope you can give me some advice haha
Really nice video gabo all of your handstand videos has helped me so much ( especially the tip on stacking my joints and my hips over my arms and focusing on not kicking my feet up but my hips up ) i can now hold a free handstand for like 10-12 seconds. Although i have a problem i am not consistant with my attempts i mean i kick up and 1/3 handstands i manage to find the sweet spot of my balance and hold it for 5-10sec is it just because i am sitll newbie to handstands or should i work on something specifically?

I think I don’t have strength and stability in my finger tips to control the pivot. So probably the finger extensions will be helpful. I love wall walks. I do them at least 4 times a week 😁
Gabo Saturno nothing is better for shoulder strength and stability. It’s one of those exercises that looks so easy but get your shoulder on fire after 2/3 reps!

Wall walks 3x 3-5 reps
Pike push ups 3x max
Straight arm wall plank 3x max
Hollow body hold 3x max
Handstand shrugs 3x 10 +hold
Cherry pickers 3x 1min
