💛🧡❤️💜💙💚 My favorite take away was your thanking everyone. Sometimes we forget so thank you for the reminder. As for felting take away... the way your bar affects the effort in increasing the hardness of fulled felt.
My Favourite take away was about the difference between olive soap and detergents , also I like the whole tutorial:, the way that it so friendly and so natural! No fuss, no exaggeration, easygoing, funny, clear and so true. If something goes wrong it goes wrong...we learn out of the mistakes! Wonderful! I will be much more experimental in the future! Thank you!
Oh Oh Oh I cant wait to start making this. I just started wet felting. I’m taking the fundamentals class and will make this fabric when I’m finished with fundamentals. 💕
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It gives me so much information as to what to do with all of the "special" materials I've ordered from you and haven't used yet! Thank you for continuing to reach out to your fiber followers. Wooly Wednesday is my down time, my relaxation time and my lift for the week and the times no matter what day I watch it. Hugs to all of you! Stay safe.
So excited for this project and hoping to do this weekend. Need this to stay calm and be creative during this stressful time. My husband is an EMT and my daughters are both RNs. So grateful to all people working to keep us safe.
You already talk about fibers and what they are best used for when shopping and it would be great to look at it another way. For a particular project, what kind of fibers would be best to use and put it in a PDF or tip sheet format that we can save/print out. Example 2D needle felt picture, what to use for backing, fibers and fancy fibers. Another for felting 3D objects, another for nuno felting. Etc etc. These video tutorials are AWESOME, and project tip sheets would be great reference for shopping and planning projects.
Favorite takeaway is the gentleness of this piece or the Felting of it. I was taught this way by Susan Thompson and her mom, Sally Hall. Nice to have the fun continue. Ellice
That was so wonderful to watch you make. So much information! I will be watching it again to make sure I got it all. My biggest takeaway was using the dowel as the core to roll against. I have heard you talk about it just have not watched you use it yet, only the noodle. I have a dowel, just was not confident enough to use it yet. Now I can! Thank you!!
So sad I missed the live! I enjoy these felt alongs so much, gets the creative juices going. My takeaway, may seem simple as I've been felting for quite a few yrs. however there's always a little something I just hadn't thought about, so today's takeaway was the "pinch test". I'll be using that for future projects. Looking forward to next week to see what we are going to be doing with these :D
I love the blues in the demo piece you showed. It gives me an idea of how to do the background for an octopus I want to do. Now to dig through my stash! Thanks!
Caren Pack/Holley in So Cal...We are hunkered down, binge watching Dark Shadows from the beginning. Now hearing the theme song in my sleep. Other stuff going on and not able to felt! (sob) So thankful for these replays, Marie. Love you guys.
Thank you for the tutorial. My biggest take away is when you first start rolling you need to be gentle (don't roll to tight), then you can move to a harder more aggressive roll. Also I love how permission is given to not worry about being perfect!
Watching you at 1am in the morning from New Zealand . You’re amazing ! I have always wanted to try felting but have not felt confident. You are such a good teacher and so thoughtful with the way you explain things, so I’m going to give the pancake a try. I make handmade bunny treats for the rescues in New Zealand and I want to eventually make a hay to wear while foraging. With my bright red hair and live of things natural …. Felting I think will be my new outlet to relieve stress etc . Thank you again for your amazing warm and beautiful tutorials xxxxx
Loved seeing how all the dif bling fibers turned out. Learned a lot with this . I'm going to do some of these for cutting into my fey folks clothing. Ideas abound. Thanks so much!
#REPLAY Thank you for recognizing the First Responders! My husband works for the Fire Dept and it is a scary time for sure. I am very excited to start this project this weekend. I got the Masquerade Designer Bundle and Wet Felt Kit. I am over the moon with the colors and variety of fibers! Much Love!!!
Thanks for all the information on wet felting. I'm a total beginner, so learning about all the wonderful fibers was my favorite takeaway. Excited for next weeks reveal!
Thank you so much for another great lesson. I am now understanding about the different fibers you used on the piece. Just love how everything came together so nicely.
I did it! Used some black alpaca fiber ( two layers) for base since I didn’t have pre felt. Then on top MC1, some unknown Corriedale, locks, sari, not to bad for first try. The main thing I branched out from my needle felting, thank you Marie!
I've just watched the replay & I'm so very fascinated! I am brand new to felting & in fact just started on your needle felting bunny kit. Now I've watched the wet felting & I can't wait to try that too! I'm completely enamored 😍😍😍
That is so fun to hear! Lots of people start felting by needle felting...but once you get hooked on the fiber, there are soooo many projects and processes to explore :)
I finally finished watching. I need to place an order so I can make a piece! Expect an order soon! I have not wet felted before so I am super excited to try!!!
Thank you so much! Such an inspiring video, I'm so excited to try this!!! This is the first channel I want to return to, it feels like a home, so heartwarming and near. Hope to meet you some day!
My take away is watching you stretch the silk hankie across your piece. I’ve not tried using a silk hankie like that. I love how it felted on your piece!
So tomorrow I’ll be #feltinginplace really looking forward to starting this project I get to try all the crazy fibres I can’t resist every time I go shopping 🛒 xxx💕🌈🐑🐑💜🧡💛💖
AKA Chantal Wolf Thanks for a great tutorial! I learned about the different bling fibers and what they look like when felted and that I need to press more lightly.
This is so beautiful!!! I have never felted before, but I am dying to try this. I think fabric of this kind would make stunning placemats and/or table runners.... Now to reign myself in from buying every color you stock!
I love making things out of wet felted fabric! Such as pins and magnets! Watching your show right now (: I live in Truro Nova Scotia and we have a lot of felters in Nova Scotia! Thank you for your videos. I made 2 raindeers but I used cinnamon sticks for the legs! Judy
1-25-22 Just watched this episode and loved it. I am a beginner felt maker and looking forward to watching the next episode! Thank you for your teaching, you made it easy to following along. Now to order my supplies!
Thankyou ever so much Marie I learned so much! my biggest takeaway was that you dont have to flip the piece your working on only rotate it! so much easier and less creases too lol
Thanks for you'r good energy so needed this days! I'v lernd that is no need to give to much presure to the fabric to have a good result. I'm from Uruguay soth america, love you'r pruducts!!
I must have been behind, I think I paused it to take a call... but tried to chat and it was over... I was saying I hadn't the supplies but will make a sheet for the next project! congrats to all the winners, enjoy!
This is the best wet felting video! I’ve watched a lot and yours is most informative. I have also looked at your website and will be ordering soon. I am wanting to do the art felt to make handbags...wish me luck...
This was a very fun adventure Marie. Kudos to you for all the effort you put in for this tutorial. I would never have thought of all the interesting ideas you came up with on how to use our arty fabric, ingenious. :) Something I would love to see in a future tutorial is some more ideas/techniques on making clothes for our dolls...that would make all my naked dolls very happy. lol
My takeaway from today was just to let go and explore and not worry about messing up or wasting fibers! This is something I will have to work on because I tend to save wool for a "special project someday" which never happens.
It was great to try odd fibers to see if they work, both in the design and to add to the integrity of the finished fabric. I’m surprised that some of the cool yarns I thought would be perfect, just bombed, and others worked so well. Thanks for the tutorial.

I love that you take the time to really work through a project from beginning to end so we can see all the minute details of your process.

So excited for this project and hoping to do this weekend. Need this to stay calm and be creative during this stressful time. My husband is an EMT and my daughters are both RNs. So grateful to all people working to keep us safe.
Happy felter in place. Beautiful colors!
Just realized this was done two years ago. Boy do I need to catch up! Thanks for leaving it up to view
Wet felting intimidates me But I find watching this helping me relax a little bit
My favourite take away was that with minimal supplies you can still make something fun, interesting and I can’t wait for next week 🐑🐑❤️❤️💖💖

Retired and doing my part by staying home Day 29 for me. Ordered a ton of wool last week so I have lots to do.
I am so glad you are teaching this!!
My favorite take away was using a closet rod. I wasn’t able to watch the whole session this after but finished it tonight.
I'm just wow never knew this I'm so excited to learn this
Favorite takeaway is the gentleness of this piece or the Felting of it. I was taught this way by Susan Thompson and her mom, Sally Hall. Nice to have the fun continue. Ellice

AKA Chantal Wolf Thanks for a great tutorial! I learned about the different bling fibers and what they look like when felted and that I need to press more lightly.
Yes, in the BEGINNING = press lightly....in the FULLING process, press more firmly :)
I love this project, thank you for all your fantastic tutorials.

Great share, beautiful artwork!
I made my fabric yesterday, fun project! I used a bunch of bling. :-)
So inspiring. Love those colors too! Can't wait for the next one to make something with it. Felting tomorrow!
Watching replay!
This is very helpful, thank you!
1-25-22 Just watched this episode and loved it. I am a beginner felt maker and looking forward to watching the next episode! Thank you for your teaching, you made it easy to following along. Now to order my supplies!
Fabulous.. thank you
Thankyou ever so much Marie I learned so much! my biggest takeaway was that you dont have to flip the piece your working on only rotate it! so much easier and less creases too lol
For a thin piece, not as important...as long as top and bottom layers are shrinking about same and migrating together. I very often DO flip it over.
Thanks for you'r good energy so needed this days! I'v lernd that is no need to give to much presure to the fabric to have a good result. I'm from Uruguay soth america, love you'r pruducts!!
Thank you :) in the BEGINNING = press lightly....in the FULLING process, press more firmly :)
felter in place!
missed the live show today :( but i'm watching it now!
Can’t wait to see how you use the palm washboard! I love using mine but I want to be sure I’m using it correctly.
I must have been behind, I think I paused it to take a call... but tried to chat and it was over... I was saying I hadn't the supplies but will make a sheet for the next project!
congrats to all the winners, enjoy!
Great Video Marie! Love the ball watering thingy! Hope to get an order in this week :)
Late joining. I will catch up for next week . Enjoyable tutorial
My favourite takeaway was the vinegar rinse at the end of the process. Never heard of doing this before but will try it next time I felt!
Can't wait to try! Of course, I'll have to use MC-1 or merino top since I forgot to order pre-felt.
Will be ready for next week....for sure! :-)
Big hearts sent
This is the best wet felting video! I’ve watched a lot and yours is most informative. I have also looked at your website and will be ordering soon. I am wanting to do the art felt to make handbags...wish me luck...

Thank you for all you give us I love you wooly Wednesday
