No missle, no flares, no repair kit,no fire extinguish.

Sim is a relatively painless way. Always join near-empty lobbies, go for AI targets while researching the first bomb/rocket mod you can, then use said bombs/rockets to zomb till you have the ARB bare essentials. From there on out you can either start playing ARB and cope with little to no performance mods for a while or continue playing Sim till you get everything you want. Base bombing is FAR more viable in Sim since you have the means to hardly ever run into enemies.

The fastest way to get through the stock grind is to purchase 5000 GE and use it to unlock all of the modifications. 🔥(Gaijin Marketing Dept. Approved Statement)
Currently, I believe the Russian top tiers have a slight edge in stocks grinding. You get 2 R-73s stock on the Mig 29SMT and Su 27, unlike the 2 9L you get on the F16C and F15A. It's really nice to have a missile that you can alteast tell people to hold without them decoying it with 1 flare at the beginning of your stock grind lol
We’re not using the same 9L if theyre getting decoyed with 1 flare, I recommend just not shooting at stupid ranges like try within a km or maybe 1.5 it’s definitely a lot more reliable than just shooting them off and hoping they dont get flared
the 9L is fairly flare resistant, I didn't even have that much of an issue with the 9P with the netz at 12.3 lmao, wasn't good but it was useable
@Sundownnnn I'll give the 9L credit where credit is due... it's still potent from behind... with AB on and flaring, but the R-73 opens up a wider range if angles to shoot from Making getting kills for stock grinding easier than the 9L. People are still kinda clueless nowadays so they still at times catch the thing front aspect
Though smt and su-27 fms are buses compared to f-16 and f-15. And when you only have 2 missiles flight performance is more important than ever

Actually the mig29 9-12 and 9-13 have stock r60m or mks. For some reason though, the normal r60 is still a modification that allows you to take 6 missles. You cant have full r60ms until researching the r60m modification which is somewhere below it.
High tier stock grinding has gotten σοbad that I personally just don't bother anymore and just play whatever's fun and doesn't make me want to propel my mouse towards my wall at mach 10

The curse advice that actually works is to go for the ai plane every game until you unlock good missiles. Usually takes around 20 games.
i got my first top tier jet literally yesterday, great timing!
my best tip: do assault arcade to get 300%-500% boosters and do a simulator battle match, was able to research half of the modules within 1 match, I recommend getting bombs/rocket modules before doing this as base bombing is quite viable top it off with premium time and you'll make more rp

Step 1: spend approximately 22 USD to boost the missiles making the grind significantly easier
Something ive found out, if you log in and play every day just to do the easy daily for the battle pass, if you don't get the mid tier free vehicle you will be very close.
Props to seek for uninstalling half of his spaded jets just for this video (He gets a lot of them already spaded on patch)

Good topic to cover cuz surprisingly not many people say anything beyond "it just sucks". Like yea it does but what's a better way to go about it?
For absolute worse case scenario, ground pound a bit or shoot down some bots if you're not confident in being able to get anything else. For most stock missiles you're really hoping your opponent is distracted, hence also arriving later to the battle.
I remember watching a video by HowToPlay1337 a long time ago, where they explained that arcade is better for modifications and realistic is better for vehicle RP. Tried that with the F16AJ / F15J and it made it way easier 👍

My typical method is just to get the first tier bombs and take out a couple bases until I get missiles
Premium also helps A LOT with grinding modifications
Get some bombs as soon as possible. Go Sim, fly low and fast to the targets, drop your bombs go back an restock. Yeah, and use your boosters.
Worked like a charm on F-4J and F-14A...
I can say being 40 feet above ground will still get you a missile to the dome because multipathing is broken.

The best / easiest way to unlock all the mods for any top tier jet is by bombing bases. You can easily get AT LEAST 5.000 RP per match this way.

Still cant believe gaijin wanted to remove the R73 from the Mig29A and give it outright R60s.... I wish they would add it for it and move it up to 12.3 or so since the missile came with the craft.... BTW for all you wondering the R73 is a full on 10 years younger than the AIM 9M missile, just as a cool little fact ;)

the one best progression tip i have that not many people know about is the item shop. the only thing i buy from it is a 15% rp booster for 10 matches, this makes a noticeable impact on progression and the booster only costs 99ge so its about a dollar for 10 games with increased rp. this on top of using premium account and sometimes even a premium vehicle greatly increases progression

Using premium time, a very mediocre player like me was able to completely research, purchase, and crew, the F16A after about 10 hours

The vast majority of top tier planes do not get their best missile stock, not worth mentioning for the vid really
step 1 is to ask why russian stuff gets r73 stock and researched at tier 1 while nato has to slog to the 3rd or final tier
Su27 was incapable of carrying R60M, thus is not an option stock. F-15/16 was capable of carrying 9J and 9L. Luckily, gaijin went with the 9L for the stock missile lol

I actually have a much better time spading F-4C than F-14A (spaded them when top tier is 12.3), because I can just bomb base and get RP reliably lmao. (You can outpace pretty much every plane 10.3 or below with 114 FFAR and full missile load even with a stock engine. Remember to bring IR missile everytime, it will save you by counterlaunching a 9B/E at a incoming R-60M or even occasionally getting some kills after bombing base.)
I still don't get why killing two player planes sometimes earns less RP than bombing a single base (common on smaller maps when the match does not last long), it is just asking people to go base bombing in a fighter in air to air battle mode.
Imagine bombing in the f4c, it you want to bomb play a bomber not hard

I still get positive KD in F-4C somehow and I don't know why people are so mad about others playing a flareless 10.0 plane as a fighter bomber when they are trying to spade it. (Half of my team cannot even get a kill so is that my problem because I did not clean the lobby by killing 4 guys using AIM-7Ds at the start?)
10.0 is ruined by those all aspect and if you are saying simply not take it out whatsoever then fine. (Though I would suggest not fly out a bomber in the same regard)
F-4C is my second-last non spaded US plane so be it.
@@kurnass2000 Also I'm complaining about the RP reward. If it is more rewarding when getting kills, why would I take a damn heavy FFAR out when I can get RP more efficiently?
The issue is just it is so damn rewarding bombing base and the stock grind sucks so people go for base (Spade F-4C is mediocre so stock is trash). Yeah you might think this behaviour will cost others the game but F-4C sucks by every metric, doesn't matter.
(I have only taken bombs on 7 non-bomber planes to ARB: Wyvern (For speed grinding event), F-4C (flareless 10.0), AD-2, F-84F (trash), A-4E early (my first jet so I'm bad), F-111A (I just decide to go bombing, no excuse) and F-105D (flareless 10.0), so think what you like)
Mig29 has 2xr60M stock. Then you research regular r60

Honestly, top tier stock grind doesnt exist, log in bonus/warbond a 150% booster and after one game you got 6+ missiles from first research, second game you get boosters, and tadaaaaa! ur essentially at 99% potential, the rest is just "nice to haves".

Bombing + talisman is my way to go. Lame as hell but you grind the plane fast. Talsimans are also often on sale for 50%

2 easy changes that gaijin could implement today would make air RB so much more enjoyable. its insane they havent done it yet.
Make the playercount 8v8 in top tier, maybe even 6v6.
Remove the SARH missiles going nuts when flying low to terrain, make it so you actually have to notch a missile to dodge it.
Missiles do go nuts down low, just not as much as in WT. The problem is playercount. High playercount does not allow you to learn air combat and you survive due to luck most of the time
I polished my F-16 at a time when there were no countermeasures at all. It was wild experience.
wdym? countermeasures were introduced way before f-16

@@141menace But you didn't have them in stock. You had to get your countermeasures first and at 12.0 you flew without them after opening the F-16.
