@@danreeder1704 yes you can lol you obviously know nothing about the fire department. most of the tools on their truck are for damaging property... sometimes a house can have more water damage than fire damage. surely youve seen them smash car windows in front of fire hydrants?
@@danreeder1704 yes they have the right to focus on the fire and not your car. to answer your initial question , the insurance company pays for the damages if your vehicle is insured. in some cases you are fully liable for the damages though such as if you illegally park
These guys are on the money, the truckies really are great. When he was clearing that window I had a flashback to when I fell off a ladder about 20' from the ground. Huge blast of fire shot out, I got disoriented, and leaned and the ladder went down. Luckily I landed sideways on the roof of a car so I didn't get hurt too bad. Those were the days where we didn't put on our Scott Packs until you were inside, and we rarely wore them outside. Excellent work guys
Harrisburg once again proving they are one of the best. Quick and safe arrival, quick knockdown, great comms and no one got hurt. Nice video man, one of these days soon I'll be able to say I did the same.
That video was amazing excellent job getting the ladder in position for ventilation and possible bailout if needed sure would be nice if there were more personnel to help you set the ladder up keep up the work can’t wait for the next call thanks
Hey thank you for joining and us first responders will appreciate you for doing that. And don’t be nervous, I am sure you will be great! Hope you do well 🫡🚒

Is that tool mount on the 24 footer an in-house modification? That’s genius. I can’t find anything online. I always attach a NY hook, but I like the idea of it being secured there permanently.
Is the go pro on your radio strap ? Please share how the mount is set up. I have some old go pros that need to be put to use ! Thank you and great sub 30 sec mask up.
Would help with horizontal and hydraulic ventilation. He timed this as they were getting water on the fire, which is important. Otherwise yes breaking windows early would cause the fire to grow faster.
To answer your question, no. There's no engine under his cab. Those wheels are most likely on an independent suspension setup with a dead axle plus steering controls. The engine is under the tractors cab.
Oof that car door got dinged hard by the ladder
Who will pay to fix it? I get that adrenaline is rushing, but you cant damage one persons property while trying to save anothers

Great story, luckily the days of hardcore firefighting are over and now it’s all about safety

I'm loving seeing the tillerman views. I've never seen this before.
I'm officially a volunteer firefighter I just got that info from my chief. Thanks for all you do. I'm nervous.

The real HEROES in my eyes !!
Great truck work !!!
What an awesome truckie video.. good job bro..
Be safe out there old boys, but keep the vids coming yes.. love respect from Netherlands 🇳🇱. 🤎
Awesome video! Great job.
That truck man is a rockstar.
@2:05 Oops... sorry
Though... lol
Shit happens sadly. That dent can be pulled out and the paint fixed. I'm sure the owner of the vehicle is probably more concerned about the house.
@@Stargazzer811 I would hope so 😅

Badass view from the Tillerman🤘
Beautiful N5A
i dont work in fd but why do they need a tiller for a 2 story kitchen fire? Nice vid btw!
Lmao those complaining about the car in front probably never seen anything close to the amount of fire these guys see.

How do you like using the Rex bar better than a pro bar?
Convinced Harrisburg FD is one of the best.
Very bouncy ride. Hope you don't get seasick. Great video
Great vid
Great content!!
Nice job!!
Just curious. Why break the window if no known victim? Conditions changed fast.
Most likely flow path, let some of the smoke out so visible conditions can slightly improve

good truck work
Kyle, do you have an engine under the tiller?
To answer your question, no. There's no engine under his cab. Those wheels are most likely on an independent suspension setup with a dead axle plus steering controls. The engine is under the tractors cab.
Plus power steering..15degrees of turning radius
It’s tiller time 😎
how are you attaching your go pro? chest strap??
What does the wheel where you are sitting do?
Steers the back wheels
Please continue these response videos
why does it have a steering wheel
To make tighter turns that normal trucks with that long of trailer can’t make
Window replacement sales must be a hit!
B shift ladder throw
Hell Yeah! JOBTOWN!!! #gogetembrothers
Noticed wearing gloves off the rig is a lost art. Driving the tiller is hard with gloves on so i understand that but other guys don't have them on.
Why are you complaining still?
it pisses people off cus they don’t have an excuse not to wear them except while driving.
2:06 wtf?
only 20K views? come on youtube
The cars door got hit by the ladder 😭
It will buff out 😂
Can't the back wheels be automatical 😊😊😊😊
What?????
2:06...c'mon man pay attention.
Bro accidentally hit the car with the ladder
Truckie Up
I would have taken the window and side Mirror with the ladder a house is more important than that dam window on the car!
Smashed the civilians car with the ladder that makes us look like asses !
Oh shush
You need smaller trucks.
No, no they don't. Tillers are the superior truck.
Pennsylvania never fails to embarrass lmao
