How I'd describe good Dante.
I never realized how alike Eddy and Dante are
The only difference is that Dante is a half-demon with a shitload of weapons and skills and a penchant for battle rather than business. Give Eddy a healing factor, swords and guns, the skill to use 'em and turn to the monster-hunting business, he's basically Dante in a nutshell.

i feel like this is how eddy likes to imagine half the shit he experiences would go down: he's the ultimate badass and everybody else is a bunch of weaklings or morons

If I had no idea what Devil May Cry was i'd probably be confused and think this was the actual game with how fitting this dialogue is.
It IS the real dialogue, word for word.
I heard this was the original version, but Capcom got cold feet and hired other voice actors instead and a completely new video game composer.

IT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO with the fact that those specific demons--the ones with the scythes, are made of sand. Sorry for the caps, I was trying to get across the fact that I'm excited from only just realizing this possibility.
Maybe when they teleport into the world, their portals generate a lot of heat at their point of entry, and some of that glass is just melted sand.

The Eddy dialogue is very well done!
The line choices were amazing, probably the best one I've seen so far in terms of that. My only criticism is maybe the kanker sisters added a bit too much noise, between Dante, the sfx and the music adding a forth voice was tad bit excessive. I see why you did it but sometimes less is more.
That being said this is just a meme so props for the effort and quality anyway. naisu joke.
Yeah, audio balancing definitely isn't my strong suit--something I'll need to work on in the future. I didn't realize just how noisy it was until I listened with headphones on while editing.
I get it. It sometimes gets harder because you have to listen to the same scenes over and over again. Your brain sometimes drowns the audio out by itself.
