When I was a bout 16 I woke up one morning and saw a woman stood at the window. She was wearing 'medieval' clothes, with long draping cuffs, a pointed wimple and a fine gauze hanging from it. I looked at her, looked at the clock (06:25) and went back to sleep. I wasn't Christian then and felt no threat or any evil. My parents house was haunted, and my brother and I lost count of the amount of times we had encounters, some of them very unpleasant. Footsteps on the stairs, in the room, real intimidation from 'something' or 'someone' in the corner, a rage or anger strong enough to drive me from the room. Years later I kept getting the feeling that a woman visited my bedroom, and in the end I refused to sleep there. My wife got a woman to chase the spirit away, and apparently there were no further visits. That said, that house also had other events going on, and the only thing I can say to anyone reading this is: call out in the name of Jesus. He is Lord of lords, and King of kings, and the enemy fears His name.

When Jesus rose and appears through the wall the disciples thought he was a ghost and were afraid, Jesus told them “…a ghost hath not flesh and blood as I do” and he ate to show them he was flesh. Thus, Jesus verifies that ghosts are real. Now, if ghosts are demons Jesus surely would have pointed out that error to them but he did not, neither did the disciples claim Jesus sudden appearance was “demonic”. My point, the worlds (plural) as Paul said is more complex than we think and the Bible is not clear on the subject.
But the holy spirit of God is also called holy ghost. Ghost just means spirit. Angels and Demons both are spirit as well. They neither have flesh or blood.
(1 Samuel 28) Saul assumed the figure of the old man was Samuel. Considering, the woman/witch had a familiar spirit, which would have been a demon/fallen angel. It could not have been Samuel. Also, considering God's judgment on witches at that time, God would not have allowed such an event to take place. A righteous man commanded by a demon to be summoned to a witch for a man God had rejected for his disobedience. This is proof against human ghosts and not for it. This is demonic activity and not God directed activity. Proven by Saul's disobedience to his own previous actions as commanded by God that he & the witch both understood and she was fearful of. My whole family, Christians, were sitting in the living room watching the movie "shrek" with our kids. A dime flew across the room and landed on our tv stand. Right in front of the tv. This video may have cleared some questions that's settling in my mind for quiet a bit. To be honest, I always say that I don't believe in ghost (the kinds that are dead people's spirit that would either protect us or harm us, the ones that can communicate to medium) but I am scared to be in the dark, and the thought of ghost scared me. I mean like, it would make no sense if I say that I don't believe in it and yet be scared of what's in the dark whether it be ghost or humans, right? And when ghost came to mind, I always forget the fact that when people died, their physical body would remain to where they are buried and their souls would go to heaven and to God. My sister is seeing family member spirits in dreams and they seem happy!! But my aunt is scaring her in dreams like she pops up dead in a car head tilted towards the window..my sister started crying like she isn't at rest..then she has another dream of her not walking in her knee's crying..is demons and angels visiting her in her dreams!! I've been telling people everything this man has said in the video for years. People laugh say I'm stupid and call me names. I give them proof that's unbiblical because I doubt these people believe in the Christian God and some change but most hang on to their heathen beliefs. I've given up trying to change people, if they can't see the simple truth after I explain then it's in God's hands. I will still tell people what I believe, but I'm not trying to convert anyone anymore.
We as believers are not called to "convert" people...only God can do that. We are commanded as Christ said, " Spread the truth through God's word." If they don't receive it, God's judgement will come on them not us.

I believe almost everything in this video, except the part about good spirits on earth. The angels don't come to earth no more, so their are no good spirits here only evil spirits. @@jblack8149ephesians only has 6 chapters, nowhere near 9. you’re citing a verse that doesn’t exist. and there are multiple verses that prove we will have memory in heaven. luke 16:19-31 is a recount of events that happened during lazarus and the rich man’s lives on earth. revelation 6:9-11 is people remembering their suffering on earth. 1 corinthians 13:12 shows that we’ll not only remember but understand more about ourselves. and maybe others in heaven.
I woke up early one morning (around 2 or 3AM) to go to the bathroom... so I got up and turned on the lights. And when I came back to my bedroom, with the intention of going right back to bed, I saw someone walking through my bedroom - looked like a man with backward goat legs, so I knew it was a demon. - I saw it with my own eyes. I never believed in ghosts until my friend caught a video of one. She was watching her boyfriend put up security cameras On her phone, and recording it at the same time. Just messing around. She was trying to tell him which way to do it so it gets the whole driveway. Anyways he put the camera down for a second and lifted it back up and there was a woman behind him with no feet, bright shining like the light, you can the pupils in her eyes were brighter than her skin. It was a real woman, but it wasn't a living human. After that we decided to look up the girl on the internet. Come to find out she was murdered with another girl just down the street and it was the exact same girl. The weird part about ghost is they seem to have some type of evil that kept them here. It's always something very bad that's happened to them and I personally don't think they're good. They could be. I know a lot about video editing and other things. She doesn't know anything about that that's why I believe she got one. And plus I don't think I could even edit that like the video came out. It was raw and real

What about Samuel's ghost in 1 Samuel, who was clearly called from "beneath" by a witch? This wasn't a demon. The Bible obviously allows for the very existence of ghosts, and a capacity for there to be some kind of communication with them, even though it is clearly admonished against.

Agree. This was the first thing that I had thought of. Saul summoned Samuel who who then had a conversation with Saul through a medium. I am not condoning contacting spirits through a physic, but this verse is problematic for those Christians claiming that ghosts are not real. Perhaps the spirit described 1 Samuel 28. But what Saul saw wasn't described as a demon. It was described as Samuel himself.

What about the ghost of Samuel?? I think you’ve only taken a few verses that back up your pov. Do I think ghosts are normative? Absolutely not. But impossible because of scripture? I wouldn’t say it’s definitive. I just don’t think I see any definitive no in scripture. It’s also interesting that patristic writings along with early Jewish beliefs tend to show an absolute belief in ghosts.
When I was about sixteen I saw waht looked like a ghost. Like a scooby doo ghost, clothing and everything transparent and faded out towards the legs. It's funny because it helped me believe in God because I can't deny what I saw. And if there's an after life we shouldn't ignore the possibility of judgment

Good Angels have no need to deceive, so no, an Angel will not masquerade as a ghost of a dead person. But to deceive a living person who desires to conjure the dead, a demon will attempt to deceive the individual by pretending to be the ghost of a person.

At my house backyard there is a pond type something..... whenever i sleepwalk.... i go there everytime and my dad doesn't sleeps in the night as he knows i can get up anytime.... he brought me again back to home from that pond for 3,4 times.... also i heard my mom dad having discussion on that.... long back when i was 1yol.... my brother was 3 and he used to scream "eww you so disgusting.... dont come near me... mom see that man is calling me outside the door" and my dad at 2.00am went there at the pond with bible and prayed and gave that spirit a last warning since then that spirit didn't disturbed us... but recently since 2 months my door is knocked at 2.00am and i made sure there is no other reason for knocking... i have analyzed everything but now im sure... that spirit is back... and idk what to do....im so freakin scared tho sleepwalking is not in my hand... i cant help it...
If you're a Christian you don't need to fear demons. James 4:7 Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Submit means to line up under, to give our allegiance willingly to God, obey His commands, and follow His leadership. Resist... take your stand against. If your allegiance belongs to God, satan has to flee from you. He is a defeated foe. You old have an audible Bible playing softly as you fall asleep, and put your mind on that. Think on God's love for you, instead of thinking about fearing satan. Read Phillipians 4:8, memorise it and say it to yourself as you're falling asleep. x

Before commenting that this is an instance of deception by demons, the text says specifically that the witch did in fact call up Samuel. And Samuel, even in death, kicked Saul's a$$ for his disobedience in having her call him up. Rest assured, we as Christians are not forbidden from this activity because it is not actually possible to do, and because we are being deceived. If it were not possible in the first place forbidding it would make no sense. We are forbidden from this activity because it IS possible to do it, and God has banned this activity for our own protection. But just as a Christian can engage in something sinful though God commands us not to do it, people can do this. The consequences are immense, which is why God has commanded severe penalty for those who practice it. To wit, Ex 22:18 - Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

Yes. If there are skin walkers then they are demons/fallen angels of satan. The "ghosts of humans that people see are really demons/fallen angels of satan that try to fool people into believing that our spirits can stay on earth after we die. We can't. We either go to Heaven or hell when we die.
Like he said. It's clear and simple. It's either Angel's or Demon's. If a spirit is pretending to be a past loved one It's a demon. If the spirit does good things (not haunting someone) it's a angel. Angels aren't going to hang around and open doors, knock things in the floor, turn things on and off. That's all demonic activity. Angels may show briefly just to look over someone or protect someone from harm. But they aren't going to move into your home and set up camp. Like a demon would. The best and only way to ward off demon spirits is in the name of Jesus Christ. But you have to truly believe that just the name of Jesus has the power to dismiss demon entities. Which it truly does.
In Luke 24:38 Jesus describes a ghost. And says he is not one. Says he has hands and feet and bones and ghost don't have these things. He did not correct them saying you are believing in something unreal. Human ghost are scriptural. There is also a place in Acts whee he say about the same thing. I know right, i was having a discussion with a friend about this, the whole witch of endor exchange is kinda confusing, it clearly affirms to the existent of ghosts, and one cannot say that the conjured Samuel is a demon in a guise because he clearly attested to the things the Lord God has said. So yes, a clearer explanation is really needed.

They do truly exists. And I guess, an encounter with one, is possible and if the whole experience doesn't defy the Lord or any of his teachings, then I would like to rest in the fact that He in all his sovereignty allowed the exchange to happen. But that doesn't mean all run ins with familiar spirits is or will be godly, if that was the case the Bible wouldn't advise against it, demons I think 98% of the time use them for their own gain to haunt and ruin the lives of those who believe and seek them out. I think there must be a vast amount of things we dont understand about the other side. I dont fear the demonic though considering jesus has placed us in authority over them. But I do believe there are things I dont understand so I'm kind to the spirits and I defend myself against spirits who wish to influence me in a non biblical way. But I trust jesus christ to be my guide so I know we rest in his hands and no one can steal us from him. So in other words I'm eager to learn and find out. With the issue of purgatory, the idea that there is an inbetween when we die is something I find hard to believe. To my understanding a knowledge, all that die go back to the creator our God. If there's purgatory then that implies our waiting after we die but there has even been accounts of people who've been to hell and heaven and have seen people who were once with us. To add on, If we were in a state of purgatory then prophets of old who had died shouldn't be in heaven but yet, Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus at the mountain of Transfiguration. Acts 7:54-59 also talks about the Apostle Stephen when after his stoning immediately saw Christ in heaven. I hope that lifts the viel on the whole purgatory thing. I believe it is referenced because the book of Revelation talks of us being in a sleep like state until the rapture and our resurrection. But the soul doesn't sleep, the body does. Makes sense how Jesus stated Lazarus was asleep and not dead lol. Our bodies sleep, our souls/spirit don't. We came from the lord and to him we shall return when he calls us.

Matthew 25:46 is about the judgement that is yet to happen. The Son of Man has to come first before the judgement takes place. Therefore, we don't know if deads will stay unconscious till Jesus comes back or some will wonder around like a ghost before the bodily resurrection.

Whats the use of being reunited with our dead loved ones in heaven if when they die they come back and hang around with us in our homes or any where else in earth. When I was a bout 16 I woke up one morning and saw a woman stood at the window. She was wearing 'medieval' clothes, with long draping cuffs, a pointed wimple and a fine gauze hanging from it. I looked at her, looked at the clock (06:25) and went back to sleep. I wasn't Christian then and felt no threat or any evil.
My parents house was haunted, and my brother and I lost count of the amount of times we had encounters, some of them very unpleasant. Footsteps on the stairs, in the room, real intimidation from 'something' or 'someone' in the corner, a rage or anger strong enough to drive me from the room.
Years later I kept getting the feeling that a woman visited my bedroom, and in the end I refused to sleep there. My wife got a woman to chase the spirit away, and apparently there were no further visits. That said, that house also had other events going on, and the only thing I can say to anyone reading this is: call out in the name of Jesus. He is Lord of lords, and King of kings, and the enemy fears His name.

When Jesus rose and appears through the wall the disciples thought he was a ghost and were afraid, Jesus told them “…a ghost hath not flesh and blood as I do” and he ate to show them he was flesh. Thus, Jesus verifies that ghosts are real. Now, if ghosts are demons Jesus surely would have pointed out that error to them but he did not, neither did the disciples claim Jesus sudden appearance was “demonic”. My point, the worlds (plural) as Paul said is more complex than we think and the Bible is not clear on the subject.

(1 Samuel 28) Saul assumed the figure of the old man was Samuel. Considering, the woman/witch had a familiar spirit, which would have been a demon/fallen angel. It could not have been Samuel. Also, considering God's judgment on witches at that time, God would not have allowed such an event to take place. A righteous man commanded by a demon to be summoned to a witch for a man God had rejected for his disobedience. This is proof against human ghosts and not for it. This is demonic activity and not God directed activity. Proven by Saul's disobedience to his own previous actions as commanded by God that he & the witch both understood and she was fearful of.

My whole family, Christians, were sitting in the living room watching the movie "shrek" with our kids. A dime flew across the room and landed on our tv stand. Right in front of the tv. I found out 2 months later my astranged ex-husbands brother had died the day before this happened. What could it mean? Ive never experience paranormal activity before.
This video may have cleared some questions that's settling in my mind for quiet a bit. To be honest, I always say that I don't believe in ghost (the kinds that are dead people's spirit that would either protect us or harm us, the ones that can communicate to medium) but I am scared to be in the dark, and the thought of ghost scared me. I mean like, it would make no sense if I say that I don't believe in it and yet be scared of what's in the dark whether it be ghost or humans, right? And when ghost came to mind, I always forget the fact that when people died, their physical body would remain to where they are buried and their souls would go to heaven and to God. I know I started half believing to ghost is because of those scary videos I watched when I was a kid and thought they are scary and real. And even until now, I still have that mindset.

My sister is seeing family member spirits in dreams and they seem happy!! But my aunt is scaring her in dreams like she pops up dead in a car head tilted towards the window..my sister started crying like she isn't at rest..then she has another dream of her not walking in her knee's crying..is demons and angels visiting her in her dreams!! We as believers are not called to "convert" people...only God can do that. We are commanded as Christ said, " Spread the truth through God's word." If they don't receive it, God's judgement will come on them not us.

@@jblack8149ephesians only has 6 chapters, nowhere near 9. you’re citing a verse that doesn’t exist. and there are multiple verses that prove we will have memory in heaven. luke 16:19-31 is a recount of events that happened during lazarus and the rich man’s lives on earth. revelation 6:9-11 is people remembering their suffering on earth. 1 corinthians 13:12 shows that we’ll not only remember but understand more about ourselves. and maybe others in heaven.

I woke up early one morning (around 2 or 3AM) to go to the bathroom... so I got up and turned on the lights. I never believed in ghosts until my friend caught a video of one. She was watching her boyfriend put up security cameras On her phone, and recording it at the same time. Just messing around. She was trying to tell him which way to do it so it gets the whole driveway. Anyways he put the camera down for a second and lifted it back up and there was a woman behind him with no feet, bright shining like the light, you can the pupils in her eyes were brighter than her skin. It was a real woman, but it wasn't a living human. After that we decided to look up the girl on the internet. Come to find out she was murdered with another girl just down the street and it was the exact same girl. The weird part about ghost is they seem to have some type of evil that kept them here. It's always something very bad that's happened to them and I personally don't think they're good. They could be. I know a lot about video editing and other things. Agree. This was the first thing that I had thought of. Saul summoned Samuel who who then had a conversation with Saul through a medium. I am not condoning contacting spirits through a physic, but this verse is problematic for those Christians claiming that ghosts are not real. Perhaps the spirit described 1 Samuel 28. But what Saul saw wasn't described as a demon. It was described as Samuel himself.

In all of human civilization, words evolve into different meanings as time progresses. One meaning for a word 50 years ago now has a different meaning today based on the current cultural ideologies. What about the ghost of Samuel?? I think you’ve only taken a few verses that back up your pov. Do I think ghosts are normative? Absolutely not. But impossible because of scripture? I wouldn’t say it’s definitive. I just don’t think I see any definitive no in scripture. It’s also interesting that patristic writings along with early Jewish beliefs tend to show an absolute belief in ghosts.

It's what got me to believe in ghosts I've never seen anything like that because I think my belief in God and Jesus is strong enough. But this person was translucent and it faded out towards the feet almost like it was floating. She got it all on video it was a quick flash but when you pause it is a person or something to make it look like human
Pretty much same. I saw something extremely clear with a friend when I was younger, and despite the sheer dread I felt, it ironically pushed me more towards religion and the actual truth since now I know that reality is probably 100s of times stranger than what you would initially think.

At my house backyard there is a pond type something..... whenever i sleepwalk.... i go there everytime and my dad doesn't sleeps in the night as he knows i can get up anytime.... he brought me again back to home from that pond for 3,4 times.... also i heard my mom dad having discussion on that.... long back when i was 1yol.... my brother was 3 and he used to scream "eww you so disgusting.... dont come near me... mom see that man is calling me outside the door" and my dad at 2.00am went there at the pond with bible and prayed and gave that spirit a last warning since then that spirit didn't disturbed us... but recently since 2 months my door is knocked at 2.00am and i made sure there is no other reason for knocking... i have analyzed everything but now im sure... that spirit is back... and idk what to do....im so freakin scared tho sleepwalking is not in my hand... i cant help it...

Angels aren't going to hang around and open doors, knock things in the floor, turn things on and off. That's all demonic activity. Angels may show briefly just to look over someone or protect someone from harm. But they aren't going to move into your home and set up camp. Like a demon would. The best and only way to ward off demon spirits is in the name of Jesus Christ. But you have to truly believe that just the name of Jesus has the power to dismiss demon entities. Which it truly does.

In Luke 24:38 Jesus describes a ghost. And says he is not one. Says he has hands and feet and bones and ghost don't have these things. He did not correct them saying you are believing in something unreal. Human ghost are scriptural. There is also a place in Acts whee he say about the same thing. I know right, i was having a discussion with a friend about this, the whole witch of endor exchange is kinda confusing, it clearly affirms to the existent of ghosts, and one cannot say that the conjured Samuel is a demon in a guise because he clearly attested to the things the Lord God has said.
So yes, a clearer explanation is really needed.

@@pauliethompson3rd465 True. I'm all for them being spirits. That's the fact. Spirits. I think it's our fault, our fault for calling them ghosts where as the Bible refers to them as familiar spirits. They do truly exists. And I guess, an encounter with one, is possible and if the whole experience doesn't defy the Lord or any of his teachings, then I would like to rest in the fact that He in all his sovereignty allowed the exchange to happen.
But that doesn't mean all run ins with familiar spirits is or will be godly, if that was the case the Bible wouldn't advise against it, demons I think 98% of the time use them for their own gain to haunt and ruin the lives of those who believe and seek them out.
That's what I've come to understand at the end of the day.

I think there must be a vast amount of things we dont understand about the other side. I dont fear the demonic though considering jesus has placed us in authority over them. But I do believe there are things I dont understand so I'm kind to the spirits and I defend myself against spirits who wish to influence me in a non biblical way. But I trust jesus christ to be my guide so I know we rest in his hands and no one can steal us from him. So in other words I'm eager to learn and find out. With the issue of purgatory, the idea that there is an inbetween when we die is something I find hard to believe. To my understanding a knowledge, all that die go back to the creator our God. If there's purgatory then that implies our waiting after we die but there has even been accounts of people who've been to hell and heaven and have seen people who were once with us. To add on, If we were in a state of purgatory then prophets of old who had died shouldn't be in heaven but yet, Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus at the mountain of Transfiguration. Acts 7:54-59 also talks about the Apostle Stephen when after his stoning immediately saw Christ in heaven. I hope that lifts the viel on the whole purgatory thing.
I believe it is referenced because the book of Revelation talks of us being in a sleep like state until the rapture and our resurrection. But the soul doesn't sleep, the body does. Makes sense how Jesus stated Lazarus was asleep and not dead lol. Our bodies sleep, our souls/spirit don't. We came from the lord and to him we shall return when he calls us.

Matthew 25:46 is about the judgement that is yet to happen. The Son of Man has to come first before the judgement takes place. Therefore, we don't know if deads will stay unconscious till Jesus comes back or some will wonder around like a ghost before the bodily resurrection.

Whats the use of being reunited with our dead loved ones in heaven if when they die they come back and hang around with us in our homes or any where else in earth.
