Perhaps having a background in nursing and care work, people I encountered felt I was empathetic and safe enough to recount their ghost experiences. They came from all walks of life and their experiences were not dramatic or life changing, but short, brief 'sightings' that were truly inexplicable. One simple example, a carpet fitter I had engaged to work in my house, recounted working in an empty Victorian villa in Clevedon. He had put down the underlay, and was on the opposite side to the door of the room, under the window. He was facing away from the door, ready to start laying the carpet. He heard heavy footsteps coming down the corridor, then into the room and coming towards his back. He thought it was the contractor who had hired him for the renovation, and turned at the last minute to speak to him. There was nobody there and he ran about the house looking for an intruder. Shaken, it dawned on him he had heard loud footsteps on wooden flooring, when it was all now underlay.
In my story I actually saw the person clear as day.. when I asked how I could help him he just kept walking and never even met my eyes.. after he walked into our bedroom I followed after 30 seconds and he was sitting Indian style in front of our television. I walked back outside the room stupefied. When I went back to confront him he was gone and there was no way he could have gotten out or gotten past me without me seeing. When I went outside later he was sitting in a tree in our yard and when I started walking towards him he just disappeared. This is just one of my probably 100 ghost stories.
Once you experience something paranormal you don’t want to believe it’s real and you don’t want to tell anyone because they’ll think your crazy. It’s an experience that you don’t want to accept.
That's true . My last experience was my tv turning on after I shut it off 4 times in a roll , than that same night hearing some tapping noise coming from my kitchen and something fell in my bathroom but didn't see anything. One time I did see a strange shadow. Lately nouthing. But I also stop my spirit session with my candles and ghost box radio. Crazy but I'm still skeptical
Be grateful. When and if you do, your whole new world view will either terrify you or will just get alot bigger. Most people who have experiences do not process them well upon first exposure and nearly every story, the person is terrified and is changed.

I work night shift in a hospital, I’ve seen several ghosts, it’s not scary at the time, but when you try to rationalise what you’ve seen then it’s unnerving. I followed a lady, she wasn’t suppose to be where I’d seen her, she walked around a corner, there was no escape for her, I walked around the corner and she was gone. I can describe her, she was definitely real. On the night shift I also go into the operating theatre to recalibrate some of the machines, I saw a man hunched over as though he was pushing maybe a heavy trolley, he was wearing theatre scrubs but not the standard blue ones we use, these were green. I only saw him for a split second then he was gone. Two of my colleagues report seeing the same figure.
I don't believe in ghosts (I mean do partially but yk sometimes I don't) so my cousin is a male nurse and when he had night shifts he also saw ghosts once someone asked him to come check the drip of a person he was following him and then that person disappeared he went to check the drip and said your husband asked me to check your drip but it looks fine she said my husband hasn't came today he is at home but I'll ask when she called he said I'm at home sleeping and both of them were shocked the other nurse said it's normal it happens most of the time just read some verses before going to sleep

it happened to me last year. I was sleeping on my sofa and around 2:30am I heard two female voices talking in a language I've never heard. They were both laughing and having a conversation. When I turned around it went quiet and nothing was there. A few years back I was in my living room also doing work on my computer. It was about 2am when I finished. I was so relieved to be finished work that I pointed to the sky and said "thank God" in a relieved way, not two seconds later something whacked a countertop from behind me extremely loud. It absolutely freaked me out. I'm not even Christian or religious but that always struck me. I've also woke up from bed with a creepy voice saying my name and groaning. That was the scariest. When I looked around my room nothing was there but the noise continued. When I switched on the bedroom light it instantly stopped! This has all taken place in my apartment. My kids won't even stay here anymore. One of my kids was in their room when he ran into the living room. His face literally looked like he'd saw a ghost. He said a little boy was in his room. I said what did he look like and he said he kept doing this, then showed me his teeth chattering. He's still scared and he's 4 now. That was two years ago!! This is all real! When I was younger (around age 8) my uncle was drunk and told me to walk with him around to the all night petrol station for cigarettes. This was definitely around 2-4am. We went down a street and we both heard hundreds of voices talking. It felt like we were in a concert before it started. Literally loads of people talking. The thing was the street was completely empty and dark. That always freaked me out and that was nearly 30 years ago. When I was 16 I was coming home around 12am and I only had a backdoor key to get in my parents house (they both were at their summer caravan) so I proceeded to climb over the backyard fence. Immediately I felt dread and someone was watching me. I ran to the backdoor and opened it and ran into the kitchen, but before I could rush to the light something breathed extremely heavy down my neck. I switched the light on as quickly as I could and ran straight out the front door. I then went and stayed in my aunties that night. I've been plagued with ghosts my whole life.
I think I've seen hundreds of ghost stories, but the worst is "Really Hunted - Scary Ghost Videos from My Haunted House" in England. I thought that entity was actually going to kill him. Loud, continuous banging, portals, exorcism, blessings, poltergeist, talking thru Alexa, PC messages in Latin, shadows, pulling his wife from the bed. Gives me chills.

I saw 2 ghosts in the early 1960’s I was about 3 yrs old. They were a woman and a girl. They were clear yet misty. They seemed to be animated looking at my mother who was walking ahead-with me in tow. Mum didn’t seem to see them & I wanted to tug her coat sleeve with my left free hand but I was in shock.🇦🇺
I forgot to mention that I saw the spirits at my local shopping centre. Apparently my neighbour pointed out years later their was an accident in that location but I didn’t ask what happened I was shocked when she mentioned it.
I was doubtful that “ghosts” existed and then my Mum died and I was woken up at 2am, with my heart pounding, why have I woken up? And I saw an orange glow by the living room door (I was sleeping on the sofa), and then I saw it again by the entrance to the kitchen. At first I did not understand what it was - then the realisation dawned on me, I know it was my Mum. Never woken up in the night like that, unless I am ill. A day or so before it happened, (my Mum’s funeral was two weeks earlier) I asked my Mum for a sign she was there. She gave me a sign. Now I believe in ghosts and life after death. People will say I am imagining it, but I know it was my Mum, she came back to see me, in orange-glow form, (I don’t know why in orange-glow form). I know it was her. It both scared and comforted me at the same time.

The Paranormal isn't an "it", but more of a "they"! The subject doesn't have to be polarised, someone once asked me if I believed in Ghosts to which I answered "No" then waiting a little while, I added "But I don't disbelieve in them either!" Agnosticism is a third often overlooked position.
If ghosts exist, and I don't believe I have ever witnessed a ghost, there can't just be one or two, here and there. They must be all around us, harmless and unseen.
@@jopoveromo1054 Do you believe the living can interact with spirits? I have watched 'Ghost Theory' for a long while and though the boys have experienced stuff that is difficult to explain, I have yet to witness in any of their videos or during my long life definitive proof of existence after death. I am a curious sceptic. I believe, considering the age of the planet, of life on Earth, that 70-years is a short period of existence and that there must be something before life and after death. I do not, though, believe the gadgets paranormal investigators like to use are reliable tools to prove the life after death.
"It about death" That's another silly presumptuous blanket statement...For many it is about the fascinating possibility of something existing that is beyond the norm hence the term supernatural...The possibility of other realms/dimensions/entities etc Not just death.
Yea there are so many innate reasons a human would believe in other humans not being completely gone after death. Obviously we're not too good with accepting death so we'd like to believe our loved ones aren't just gone in every sense of the word. Then there's the whole enjoying being scared thing, people love that stuff. Another big reason is how fascinating it is, the complete and utter intrigue over something so unearthly, peoples brains eat it up. I guess I only listed 3 reasons, but they're pretty enormous reasons. I might not believe in ghosts but somethin funky has gotta be goin on
I believe in ghosts in fact I have at least 3 in my home. One is the whistler who whistles. How else can you explain what it is except a ghost. Another is the sweeper. A person who is sweeping the floors as I can hear sweeping sounds late at night. And the third is a young woman's voice who was singing to me. She stood in front of my bed and sang. I am a bit nervous and don't want to arouse them although I'd like to know about them.
Blimey I think I would be rather scared. My father said there was a child who whistled in a house we lived in as a family when I was growing up. The house was in North London and built in 1881. I never experienced anything as a child but I do find it fascinating as I trust my dad, he is not a joking sort of man. 2 whistling ghosts, no singing or cleaning though.
@nonbiz1520 yea man thats just a coincidence. everyone has that sometimes. also that these mostly show up during childhood say a lot. childhood memories are often VERY foggy. often kids will make things bigger in their head, and with time the memorie changes as well. when i invision what it was like being 6 years old playing football with the 12 year olds, these 12 year olds look huge. in my memories they looked pretty much like grown adults. they were strong, could run and jump like olympic athletes, and behaved like they were at least 25. also i vividly remember seeing santa and his helpers on the roof when it was this time of year. looking if i was being good or not. i really really remember seeing this. though it wasnt real.. at all. sometimes, especially as a kid, your mind plays tricks on you to make you believe youve seen, said or experienced things that in reality, you havent.
I believe in ghosts, but I would like some scientific evidence of it. The science community don't bother because they think it's either pareidolia or entertainment, and people who already believe in ghosts only uses biased approaches and methods that doesn't really hold scientifically. Proving ghosts exists is difficult, because how do you know it's a dead person to begin with, but proving something out of the ordinary "paranormal" is far easier I would say, but the effort for it has never really been done. As an example, if a stationary object moves without any wind present, or without any magnetic intervention, and if such object is on a dry surface, then that would be considered paranormal. Under the right scientific circumstances this could be used as evidence for something unknown, especially if it's done repeatedly after various commands with a wide range of different data. I wish more people would experiment with this.
@@alireardon6664 You can work after a hypotheses or theory, and the most leading theory is that it's dead/deceased people in some kind of form. This creates the stigma that people don't want to touch. Instead of focusing on what we think it is, we should focus on what is actually physically happening. Moving doors and objects without any person or wind present is a fascinating subject that could and should be investigated more.
@@alireardon6664 I do believe there is something there worth investigating properly. I have never experienced anything myself, but I am optimistic. What do you think? Do you believe?
If ghosts are real, why are there no ghosts of cavemen? It’s always ghosts of Victorian era-dressed people that’s portrayed in media and told in stories. 😂
@@longdongmc.johnson I don't know for sure about any of that, all I know for sure is what I witnessed with my own two eyes as well as two police officers and my friend and my mother that were all witness to the same activity I was. And I'm just a random guy in a random town if it happened to me like it did it probably happens all the time all over the place
It is much easier for me to believe life would be easier without ghosts and shadows. How scary to be trapped in the unknown and for how long? Maybe we are trapped now since time, space, and matter do not exist.

The mind can play some interesting games with people's common sense. I'd love to believe in them and love a great ghost story but I know it's scientifically impossible for them to exist. Sad though some have made a business out of it by conning others. Like religion.
You really don’t. Unless you really want to you need to do your research to do it safely and correct. Oujia boards are hit or miss but you really have to be open to it if you want to believe. It’s all up to your mindset
A lot and i mean a LOT of people need to learn and understand how limited our eyes and ears are,we cannot see and hear everything, our limitations on decibels and the light spectrum.
If someone ask you if ghosts, god or spiritual world exists, tell that person "Learn Thermodynamics." To prove the existence of god, first you gonna have to prove the existence of ghost or the spiritual world, but none of these two don't exists, so God does not exist.
i vividly remember seeing santa and his helpers spying on me to see if i was being good or not from the bushes and from the roof. i really saw this. but with growing up, you realise santa isnt real, and the times i thought o saw him peeking through the blinds of my bedroom were just the brainfarts of a child. would be really weird for me to be sitting here still now like "no santa IS definitly real!! i can take you to my moms house where i saw him peeking through my window when i was 5!!"

@@lusiscus You could see through it because there wasn't anything there, its might just be a man upstair and the light in his room leave his shadow on the wall or the tree. Only if you give me more information, this is the best I can theorize out of your highness.

I heard they are not dead relatives if not what is this entity 😊
i was terrified as well

If millions of people told you they saw a tiger in the woods, would you walk in there? Of course they exist, there's no doubt about it.
This proves it
Love Ghost Stories. I remain sceptical. The idea of an after life is horrific! This world is bad enough.
Why do you find it horrfic?
I've experienced the Paranormal since I was a teen. some believe me some don't, doesn't bother me because I know what I saw.
What did you see? Can I guess? Back mass, unexplained moving object, voices, yes?

If ghosts exist, and I don't believe I have ever witnessed a ghost, there can't just be one or two, here and there. They must be all around us, harmless and unseen.
They are all over the place.
Then explain the ghost I saw
What exactly ARE ghosts?
explain the one you saw then ?
"It about death" That's another silly presumptuous blanket statement...For many it is about the fascinating possibility of something existing that is beyond the norm hence the term supernatural...The possibility of other realms/dimensions/entities etc Not just death.
What exactly is a ghost?
Yea there are so many innate reasons a human would believe in other humans not being completely gone after death. Obviously we're not too good with accepting death so we'd like to believe our loved ones aren't just gone in every sense of the word. Then there's the whole enjoying being scared thing, people love that stuff. Another big reason is how fascinating it is, the complete and utter intrigue over something so unearthly, peoples brains eat it up. I guess I only listed 3 reasons, but they're pretty enormous reasons. I might not believe in ghosts but somethin funky has gotta be goin on
@@newlchipson2900 Spirits are very real. Both good and bad. There’s also energies that can manifest as poltergeists and then theirs demons.
@@jjluck-smith9102 Do you have any specific memories that lead you to these conclusions? Would be interesting to hear
@@newlchipson2900 y dont u believe in them
I believe in ghosts in fact I have at least 3 in my home.
Average Schizophrenic 😂😂😂
I believe in ghosts and premonitions.
I've encountered both.
Whats the diference
Premonition is seeing things before they happen. Used to do it a lot as a kid.

My family is very Catholic so they had the arch bishop bless the house with salt and holy water and all my experiences ended after that.
What exactly is a ghost?
@@alireardon6664 You can work after a hypotheses or theory, and the most leading theory is that it's dead/deceased people in some kind of form. This creates the stigma that people don't want to touch. Instead of focusing on what we think it is, we should focus on what is actually physically happening. Moving doors and objects without any person or wind present is a fascinating subject that could and should be investigated more.
