Short and sweet but I agree the Christian worldview can make sense out of ghost sightings (usually demons) the witch of Endor and the transfiguration give important clues! 👍

Loved the presentation, did you come up with this off the cuff while at the Haunted Mansion? Many of us may have experiences of the paranormal, but it's important not the let our experiences supersede what the Bible teaches.

Hello, I usually read only the NKJV of the Holy Bible, so I always questioned whether it was really Samuel because the wording there is that Saul "perceived" it was Samuel. I realize now other versions say Saul "knew" it was Samuel. Very interesting. Thank you.

I wanted to try to do ghost hunting but I was scared it was against the bible this video helped me get through some moments of dought.
Glad this was helpful. Thanks for watching! BTW, I'd be wary of ghost hunting, as this activity may distract you from the kind of godly spirituality that brings freedom. Many have become entrapped in darkness when seeking out such spirits (i.e. spiritism, divination). God bless you.
In Luke 24:38 Jesus describes a ghost. And says he is not one. Says he has hands and feet and bones and ghost don't have these things. He did not correct them saying you are believing in something unreal. Human ghost are scriptural. There is also a place in Acts whee he say about the same thing. Also a place where they thought Peter was one.
Precisely! We really cannot brush off every paranormal circumstances as urban legends (although most really are 🤣), but let's not let these things take off our focus to God. 🙌
Agreed. There is a danger of becoming too interested in paranormal activity, even as a Christian who studies the Bible. Let us keep our focus on the Lord!
I’m so confused. I’m Christian and all my life my family told me that ghosts aren’t real and that our loved ones can’t communicate with us or come here to earth. We either go to Heaven or Hell and that’s it. I don’t get how this works. I’ve had experiences but no one things it was a ghosts. My family said ghosts are just demons pretending. Is that true? What do you think of Ed and Lorraine Warren who were Catholic paranormal investigators? I have so many questions. I don’t want to go to hell for thinking something wrong but I am really believing that ghosts are real.
Your views on ghosts aren’t a salvation issue. Some paranormal phenomena may be merely naturalistic or it may in fact be demonic. Apart from the biblical examples I cited, it’s unlikely that God would allow the spirit of a dead person to communicate with you. I haven’t heard of the Catholic ghost hunters, but there is definitely a real spiritual battle and Paul writes in Ephesians that we must stand firm against the devil.
Spirits and angels are with us all the time looking after us. We have spirit guides helping us but a lot of people don;t realize they are with us. There are no demons, they don;t exist whatever it says in the Bible. Why do people always go to the Bible to find answers?
If you believe in spirits and angels, your worldview already allows for demons. That is a designation for rebellious angles and about a third of all angels fall into this category, according to the Bible. Why do you doubt the Bible’s teaching on these rebellious angels but not the existence of spirits and holy angels?
have always wondered if they are real..but I believe there's more things we can hardly explain in the spiritual than the physical.

@@apologeticsguy Yes...with my relationship with God, I can say there are a lot of things that the scientist can't answer, but you can get answers spiritually... Thou these answers are scarce to find except you have a depth relationship with God... The Bible says we wrestle not against flesh, but principalities in high places..(do we know who they are, the form they are)....But yes God can answer these questions....He knows them, He created Light and darkness...
And His secrets are with them that fear Him
