- How to adjust and cables and pins on the 22 Designs Axl Tele binding.
Note: be sure to rotate both of the cables in the same direction to keep the heel piece centered over the ski. Righty tighty to make the cable smaller. Lefty loosy to make the cable bigger.
Really helpful. Thanks. I grabbed these for my first tele setup and your vid was a nice addition to 22D's documentation.
Great video! I have trouble engaging the heel piece into the boot heel when standing with both boots on. Very akward for my 77 year young body. I'm finding it helps to have the bindings in the walk mode giving me the ability to lift the heel further so I don't have to bend over as much to reach down and engage the heel piece. Any other suggestions?
Great video
Any suggestions on mounting them?
Local shop is clueless
I like to go boot center around -6cm of boot center recommend, which will take the toe piece back just in front of the boot center recommend. 2 reasons I like this: It lets you carve the back ski while weighting the middle of the ski, and it gives your ski slightly less tail, which is GREAT in the trees, bumps and pow. If you have a full rocker ski, go more boot center to boot center.
Stand up on your skis in your boots without the bindings and figure our about how much tip you want. It's all about what you want, so first get clear on that and feel it out!
