How to Adjust the 22 Designs Axl Telemark Binding
How to adjust and cables and pins on the 22 Designs Axl Tele binding.
Note: be sure to rotate both of the cables in the same direction to keep the heel piece centered over the ski. Righty tighty to make the cable smaller. Lefty loosy to make the cable bigger.

BEST EVER Two Man Inflatable KAYAK!! We Love It - Intex Explorer K2 Review - On the Water We were creating this review of the Intex Explorer when my son did a backflip over the seat. Pretty funny. Check out our other videos here for the actual review of this awesome, full, inflatable two man kayak! We've used it dozens of times on mellow rivers, lakes and large creeks in Idaho. I love the adjus...
Great video! I have trouble engaging the heel piece into the boot heel when standing with both boots on. Very akward for my 77 year young body. I'm finding it helps to have the bindings in the walk mode giving me the ability to lift the heel further so I don't have to bend over as much to reach down and engage the heel piece. Any other suggestions?
these are not easy to deflate with the pinch valves
My Carry bag broke first try lol boat is great though
Thank you.
It’s one of the few! And wonderful.
Truly the best binding to date. I have 4 sets of skiis mounted with these. They are heavy. I have two complaints. Heel lifts will eventually break so carry an extra. The Adjustment springs can be bent and damaged right where they enter the hard metal part. I have solved this issue by containing the cable under the heel lift bail when tossing skis in the back of a truck or in a wagon. I had someone snag my cable while sliding their skis in next to mine and it permanently bend my spring. I cant adjust past the bend now because the spring is distorted. The binding still works, a strain relief would help that. Also the only time this will ICE up is when you take a warm ski out and drop it in the snow. Its easy to clean but the adjustment slide will freeze up if a warm ski is able to melt snow in there.

still the best binding in my opinion, skin for miles or rip the resort all day, this binding never fails to deliver power :D

Great video
i love jackson! i’m glad he loves it!
Any suggestions on mounting them? Local shop is clueless
I like to go boot center around -6cm of boot center recommend, which will take the toe piece back just in front of the boot center recommend. 2 reasons I like this: It lets you carve the back ski while weighting the middle of the ski, and it gives your ski slightly less tail, which is GREAT in the trees, bumps and pow. If you have a full rocker ski, go more boot center to boot center. Stand up on your skis in your boots without the bindings and figure our about how much tip you want. It's all about what you want, so first get clear on that and feel it out!
What Shirt do you have on?
There is a plug at the back, the very back close to the floor ppl. Be sure to close it before hitting the water! It's a drainage plug to remove water from the floor once you are done. Only two ppl have mentioned this on yt which is odd.
Thanks! I just bought mine today. I saw that when I aired it up.
just got this, I have a 1 man inflatable, love it, I'm kinda concerned about the seats, not sure I'll be able to lean back a bit comfortable, like my other one I can lean into the back support. any seating suggestions? thinking about putting a large weighted box behind seat, don't know yet.
I bought this and have taken this out a few times and love it! I understand its not as good as a real canoe but I am only 20 and do not have the space or money for that right now. plus its so nice because its easy to haul. Saving up for a good canoe but this is great for getting my paddling and outdoor fix for the time being. It preforms very well for what it is in my opinion
This kayak is super stable I used it out in Lake Erie with 5 foot waves and it was a blast!!! Make sure you wear a life jacket . Man this kayak with waves is the best lol you will get some weird looks from people on the beach though haha.
You are a wonderful dad.... I have Intex Mariner 4 in Dubai, I am enjoying every moment of it..... Is yours suitable for fishing?
He doesn't even know how to paddle right. Stupid bitch. Like father like son I suppose.
Thanks for the review can't wait till next summer out on one of these
Seriously no video of the damn thing in the water? WTF?
Hehe @Mono. Thanks for the video but yeah I'm familiar with deflating. I was more interested in the best method to fold and store as to not cause damage.
NO offense, but this is a entry level rec pool toy. Paddling these elongated baloons on water is a serous chore with them having no glide or tracking. People that buy these things never get to enjoy the real paddling experience of a better performing kayak. Yes, I know these are cheap, but in the end, it makes getting on the water a chore that's not fun. Long time paddler here who owns and has paddled many kayaks from sit inside, sit on top, and inflatable.
For those of us with storage limitations, having something like this that works at least decently is better than not having a kayak/boat at all
Agree to some extent HP. I also have two inflatables and realize can cost is a consideration. Sorry as my original post was a bit smug
All with both perspectives above, and I'm glad I bought a Sea Eagle FT465!
this is actually a best seller on Amazon with over 700 reviews and the average review gives it 4.5 stars out of 5. Its extremely important to remember that this is designed for extremely calm water
it dosent seem to be very big for 2 people especially adults
+Jaden Nickelsen I'm 6 foot 4 and fit surprisingly well.

Great video , i'm just getting into telemark skiing this year to do some backcountry touring..
+CRAIG HENRY The pivoting toe makes this great for backcountry. It's a little heavy, but the durability and downhill performance are worth the weight.
+Reliable Reviews I totally agree. Bomber downhill performance.
Cute review. Great dad!
hi there, thank you for the video !!!! is the kayak stable on the water .... would you recommend it ???
+jorge de souza It's very stable. Best for flat water. I totally recommend it.
+jorge de souza It's very stable, especially compared with hard kayaks. I even take it on mellow rivers with confidence.
So, what did you run out of batteries in your camera to film the other half of the video showing how to fold it? If not, then I'd call this a fail.
haha jackson made this video 2x better =D
Is this kyak something you can roll up and easily put in the trunk or even deflated is stuck in that elongated position
+Gabe Montenegro yes
first time i used my kayak k2 april 11/15, unfortunately i was only able to used it for about 3 minutes, because the wind was blowing about 20-25mph. i went to a lake, the wind is blowing me backwards and sideways, i could not paddle forward, but rather getting pushed back by the strong wind. oh, well i have to wait until the wind calms down to 5-10knots. i had me cut a plywood at the hardware 7/3 x 2' x2' into 2 halves & rounded the corners, sanded it and put duck tape around it to prevent slithers poking the kayak. i set it on the floor of kayak where i step on to get in, the floor was rigid, it worked.
www.twentytwodesigns.com/Tall-Climbing-Bails_p_40.html maybe this is a new addition to their product line.
Really helpful. Thanks. I grabbed these for my first tele setup and your vid was a nice addition to 22D's documentation.
Mounted a pair 3 days ago. They're not as enjoyable for skiing powder compared to the voile 3 pin cables but the control you get in dicey conditions is pretty damn nice. The 3rd axle pin setting is ridiculously soft, to the point where 3 pin cables offer better control. Mid seems to be where I'll stay. The tour mode is excellent and the heel lifts are the best of any binding setup I've ridden on, AT or Tele. Their weight is negligible when you consider their versatility. Solid binding! That's my 2 days of using them review haha
Great review. I have asolo leather old school boots and scarpa molded. Can these both be used in these bindings ? They're bith 75 3 pin Cheers..... Harley
Harley Gillman Both should work fine yeah. These bindings will be a bit stiff for the leather boots to drive though.
Bomb Diggity? I'm sold!
Hello. Like I have a kayak and I see you share the same passion with children. A doubt, you've used in rio? that is, in water with current ?. Thank you.
Reynel Mondragon I have used it in rivers with adults... not with children though. I would not recommend that with children.
