- Originally from Austria, Linzer Cookies have become a staple in German Christmas baking, too. These cookies are as delicious as they look and I personally love the white, snowy look with the red jam peeking out.
Now, the Austrian watchers will most likely scold me again, for daring to write "German Christmas Baking" in the title ... but honestly, that's a bit petty! I don't claim that we invented Linzer Cookies, I'm just saying that we Germans are baking them for Christmas.

I wish I had the time but I am currently dealing with a lot of family health issues (when parents are getting older ...). I hope I will have the time to make new videos later this summer and will definitely be back at some point.

Yours is a nice variation of these cookies . Was this raspberry jam? Where I live I usually see Linzer cookies made with two circles of dough, the top one with a hole in the center to reveal the jam.
You must be from somewhere in Asia, a lot of bakeries here make that of jam cookies 😋

Sooo disappointed not to hear you present it nor the sounds of the actual cooking. Adding music makes it incredibly dull.
Sorry I disappointed you but this was the only way to have a video in December. We are currently having several severe family emergencies in Germany, and they take all my time and focus to fix.
