I tried this and made a potli and hung it outside I will edit this comment when I see the clay dried! But the before result was same as the filtered mud shown. And you can use any strainer you get even you can take a tea strainer of home but it will take a lot of time
Edit- After the clay dried it wasn't like the end result it was very dried so i added some water and it made it a little like clay but that type of texture cannot be used for pottery so I will rate it 3 star
