I truly understand where you’re coming from. I’ve experienced the same things. I’ve battled with suicidal ideations from 12years to early 30s, everyday. I’ve been freed from it. I thought my thoughts were normal. What God has taught me is Psalms 1:1: don’t sit in the the seat of the scornful. We have to set boundaries and KEEP them. Study the patterns of your mother and when you understand her tact, ask God to have compassion for her, strength to respect her as your mother and not take what she says personal. Heal and free you from resentment. Cast down every expectations you have for her as a mother. Cast down every negative words she has shared to you. Find your identity and value in Christ, so that their words won’t have affect on you. Meditate on His words.
My mother is a narcissist as well. As soon as I learned that she was a narcissist like about 10 years ago, I was set free. I finally understood that the problem is her and not me. I felt like I was the problem all my life because of her narcissistic ways. I realized that her pride has ruled every bit of her thought and actions. I went through depression throughout my years because I just felt no understanding why she is the way she is. Again once I understood what narcissism is and what a narcissist mother is, I felt the heavy load on my shoulders lifted. I knew the problem is her. Not that I’m perfect and have handled myself well in every confrontation but that I understood that our relationship was the way it was because of HER and not me. I was determined to raise my daughter differently and I did. My daughter and I have such a close relationship. So far different then what I have with my mother. My daughter who is an adult also sees and has experienced my mother’s narcissistic ways. We have learned to just recognize how she speaks to us and or question us in anything and choose to respond vaguely or not to respond at all. Not allowing her to have control. We have learned to always try and stay in control of the situation whatever it may be by either with minimal responses or no response at all. I could go on and on. Just know that it is not you who is the problem. It is her and she has to deal with her own demons. I feel so set free from her demons knowing that I didn’t cause her demons. I am not to blame for her demons and neither are you. 🙏🏽👏🏽
Please get help. with your insight that what your mom does is not ok this is very treatable. I was in a long relationship with a guy who never saw it. These type of mothers can destroy your ability to have healthy relationships. Don’t let her rob anymore of your life. Praying for you…
Holy Toledo. This hit the nail on the head. My mom has been doing weird things too as of late. I didn't recognize any of this as her traits until Pastor Mark said "maybe it's a mother". 😮 Sometimes his videos find ME at the right time. God works in such mysterious ways. For everyone who's dealing with this, I'm praying for us. We love our mothers, but don't know how to navigate this. May the Lord bring us all strength to talk this through with them and come out stronger on the other side.
Narcs never say I think I am the narc … this is the result of abuse by a narc in your life. But you still need the lord to heal you and clear the clouds of your thinking! ❤

100% my mother. I absolutely hate it when she tries to hug me or touch me. It makes me sick to my stomach and triggers me. I can’t be in the same room with her without getting angry. I also have to hide what makes me happy or she’ll shame me for it and ruin it. The list goes on and on.
My sister is a spiteful Narc. She Lies, repackages and reframes stories. Creates whole stories and turns people against me. She pulls my mother in and my mom always sides with her. I went no contact a few years ago. My mom got sick and I had to communicate with her again. I only do so via text because she lies so much I need a written record of everything. Now she takes forever to text me back regarding my mom since she lives with her. Ignores texts, dumb stuff like that. I’m getting ready to move away to another state and I plan on going no contact again…not even texts. I’m not sharing my new address with her or or my mother.
Mark...I was really on the path that you desired for me and that you thought in the AGW classes. However, my own mother sabotaged my plans by getting the police involved to explain why I went no contact with narcissist Mum, using my landlady's phone by contacting my landlady questioning her and then her passing on the phone to me, getting so confused and anxious that she has decided to evict me from this rental accommodation and is expecting me to move back in with my abusive mother and abusive family. thanks very much for your attention, God bless!
Don’t go back to your abusers. I did and I have paid a heavy price for it with my health. You can still forgive your abusive mother and keep your own boundaries by continuing to live independently away from her and not being bullied into returning to a toxic and abusive environment. Love is not abuse.

Why is she allowed to send you back to your home town to where your abusers live? What authority does she have to dictate and force you to move back there? Is there a local Church or Community Support Service near by to where you are living now where you can go to for help? You need and have a legal right to live where you are safe. Please reach out to a social worker or a Community Legal Aid Service or even a local Church or Charity? A mental Health crisis phone line could also help you. Please reach out to someone that can assist you in finding an advocate to act on your behalf to protect your basic human rights. You are being abused and I know it’s not easy to take action for yourself because you have no doubt come from a family of origin that has been abusive to you and has exerted coercive control over you since you were a young child. They have taught you that you have no rights. They have taught you through their abuse to falsely believe that you can’t help yourself. That’s how narcissists and other very toxic dominating people operate. You are NOT helpless. This lady lady has NO RIGHT to send you back to live somewhere that you will be unsafe and be further abused. Please reach out to a community service even the local police will be able to refer you to a social worker or to a Legal Aid Centre. Please don’t hesitate to ask for help. No one has the right to choose where you live unless you are legally under some type of Court Order or legal Guardianship clause and even then you have the right to advocacy and to appeal any such legal constraints.

Just watched this on RUclips for the first time today and also thinking about a girl or woman that I like. It's the trust issues and my friends, family, and my parents that who I think are the real narcissists, worrying about me and keeping my finances and making sure that I'm not sending money or gift cards to these so-called women online looking for love, keeping me apart, keeping me way from my girlfriend and future wife, Diana. Diana Bennet. They love & care about me, but they don't know that I'm an adult and not a child, I won't be talked to or spoken like one. For God's sake, I'm almost 40 years old. I can be responsible for my actions and my finances, good or bad. They shouldn't worry about it me, I'll be fine. This limits when I'm social. I'm also an introvert. And more of a sigma personality. So, I'm really reserved. I do not see that as an issue.
