Very risky notes, something she could only try in the studio. Also, you can hear the strain in the A5, so I don't think she would do that live. You need practice, rest, warm-up. She has always said she is not comfortable in that range, but she has always tended to write her songs in the high keys because it would sound better. She is such a perfectionist!
She is definitely confortable on her high belts ! She said that her natural voice is « alto » ( she was talking about her speaking voice which had always been low ) and that she experiment in the « upper register » ( she was talking about her whistle register). Her singing voice has always been high , and her ease in the F5-A5 area was at its best in the early 2000s, when she mastered her mixed voice .
@@axelito6342 she is NOT comfortable in her high belts, not live at least. All the dubbing she did for her performances in the 90s and 2000s made her upper belts sound much more crisp and comfortable than the og. But during teom era she was not hitting anything above a C5 comfortably, thats why she lip synced the insane climaxes of pretty much all her songs from this album.
It's already mixed voice. She just doesn't sound as nasal as most singers would do singing this high (especially those who use head voice just masked but the nasality)

she could barely belt an f5? what?? she could easily belt an f5 in 2005. also teom was recorded in 2004 so she could belt an a5. she belted g5's/g#5's in stay the night in 2006.
she’s hit A5s and Bb5s over the years. A5 in To Be Around You, A5 and Bb5 in Honey Remix, A5 in The One and A5 in Fly Like a Bird a Bb5 in Triumphant and A5 in Heavenly
She is phrasing on A5 and C6.
I will never get over this
Omg thank you so much!!! My wig is in outer space...
Tyler Mills yeah she wasn't belting F#s all over the Charmbracelet Tour or anything, I suppose those were pitch shifted too 🙄🙄
I was talking about MIH and VOL :)
Holy shit! Thank you so much for this. It's incredible!
You're welcome!
the slow mo sounds like drunkriah 😅

Her voice realy fit with melodies and rhytm
That’s because she created them lol.

Wow, I love the strained sound tbh.
Right, it gives that FLAVOR.

She’s comfortable in every register because she trains her voice. That is what a natural soprano does.
Try to sing A5s in a chest approach
She sings her A5's in such a chest approach it's insane, it's very hard to belt A5's in such a chesty mix like she does, it's a lot easier to mix

Wigs flying bro 😭
Wow! 😍
Underrated gem
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Vocal suiside to any other singers
I think in the studio they pitch up her vocals by 1 semitone
Actually no there was a studio recording video of her singing it I. The studio on yt don't k ow if it's still up tho
And why didn't she employ her mixed voice to be comfy in her upper notes?

Like if you think Karla just wasn’t physically attracted to him
WIG
This is not on the recorded song. Unless it's very faint.
It’s background vocals.
This was pitched up though, no?

I think these were pitched there is not way she was able to belt an A5 in 2005.
Drake Reid she barely could belt f5
This is TEOM so it maybe recorded by Charmbracelet vocals having so many abilities to sing high belt, which is not surprise

This was recorded post charmbracelet era around 2004 where her vocal was at its peak during the 2000’s. So she can definitely belt this
This is one of her worst vocals sjhsjsoss
Let see u try
Jealous much
