George and Melanie now have headstones as reported by an English newspaper, I believe it is the Sun, they have a picture which shows the headstones either side of their Mother, Lesley
Loved his voice, he was gorgeous looking but troubled deep in his soul. He want privacy in death so please respect His wish. Fame was double edged for him and while there was much satisfaction fame was also a huge burden.
George's grave isn't marked and never will be. He's buried alongside his mum Leslie and sister Melanie who died 3 years after George, also on Christmas day. I knew what his grave looked like because of the photos on the Internet.

I just wanted to say thank you Carol for taking the time to do this video because I'll most likely never get the chance to visit your beautiful country much less see GM's houses, grave etc... which is at the top of my bucket list! It's obvious why GM didn't want a marker on his grave (we get that) but at the same time we his fans need to visit his grave just as we do our family members and friends who pass to pay our respect and to remember them from time to time not just by thought but by taking the time out of our busy lives to go and place flowers, cards etc... So again, thank you! :) Highgate is a beautiful cemetery, I've always been intrigued with it, but at the same time it's a sad place because so many of the graves have been either desecrated or just neglected which is so heartbreaking. RIP Melanie, George and Leslie 🙏

We all do love George Dearly, If I could get to England someday, Seeing George's grave & his homes would be the reason I came all the way from the US. And I'd take my time, say a few words to him. Tell him all the gifts he's given me, And I want to do It at his sacred resting place, Just to feel in some way just a little closer to him. So If anyone has a problem with that, Stay Home!

That's all we want as devout fans of our beloved George is just to be near him even though he's passed and no longer with us but it gives us his true fans a feeling and sense of actually being with him to tell him how we feel because I really feel strongly that when people pass they can still hear and know what we are saying even though we are both on a different plain. It's a feeling of connection just to stand at someone's grave and even though it's sad, still, it gives a sense of connectivity as though they are still here with us. Praying someday soon Highgate will take this into consideration with his fans and allow some kind of visitation to take place at his grave even if you have to stand a ways back (they can put a beautiful very high black wrought iron fence or gate around the grave with anti-theft locks) if need be. Anything for his fans to be able to pay respects to their one and only Dear George Michael. Thanks BK! Do hope you'll make it there someday and me too :)
