After not finding any of the wave for months I decided to buy the Nekron anyways yesterday....today I found the ENTIRE wave hiding in the DVD section at my local Walmart 😂 its like Nekron called to them
Mostly picked this up for the BAF but I was pleasantly surprised with the set. Batman looks really cool and Superman is solid. Did a great job on Atrocitus' head and I'm glad he's big. I just wish he came with a Red Lantern to hold. I ordered Batrocitus who does have a Red Lantern. Unfortunately Atrocitus doesn't have a hand to actually hold the lantern which I didn't realize until after. I'd have the same rankings except for the BAF on top.
Picked up this wave last night at the local Walmart, missed them when they were at my local Target, and man they are fantastic! The Blackest Night comics got me back into collecting comic books for a time, and I always regretted not picking up the DC direct waves of figures, so I was excited to see these but just couldn’t find them and then when I did I was buying way too many other figures at the time. So fast forward to last night and I pulled the trigger. If I had to rank them I’d go Kyle last like you did, he’s cool, but not the best in this wave. Then I’m going Atrocitus, he’s a striking figure, but zombies trump the massive leader of the red lanterns for me. Next will be Deathstorm, I really like the look of him, and love they included the Black Lantern power battery, but if they included a flight stand then maybe he would be higher in the ranking. Number 2 is Superman of Earth-2. I love this figure, I love how his eyes are glowing red and they nailed the zombie look about him. That tattered cape is fantastic looking too! Number 1 is Batman, he is just fantastic looking! Total nightmare inducing with his expression and the tattered cape and gotcha hands, just a great looking figure! That’s my ranking, still need to pick up Necron to complete the set, but if I don’t pick him up, I’m ok too. 😊 Kyle do yourself a favor and pick up the Blackest Night trade paperbacks and bring those with you on your road trips to do some reading on the road. You’ll thank me later, absolute great stuff! 👍
I was close to yours I had Batman is three simply because we get so many Batman and I had atrocities too and that storm one I love the head sculpt on that thing that's what set it over the top for me
Kyle, if you haven't read Blackest Night and you like DC Comics its definitely worth the read. One of the best comic story arcs in my opinion. I have two whole shelves dedicated to just Lantern figures though...
I like the shorter BAF waves. For one several is too much. Especially if you don't want all the characters in the BAF. Hopefully this will be a sign of things to come. Shorter BAF sets.
You need to check out the new scarecrow that came out all in black and there's a new captain cold part of a flash wave but the only interesting one is captain cold. And they have a cool arkham knight wave with the BAF Solomon grundy

And I guess you could also put them with the dark metal infected versions of like Shazam and stuff like that the ones they called infected
