    So why dont more OT's focus on helping to integrate these. All the therapy we have paid for with my preverbal son (ASD diagnosis) born 27 weeks, grade 3/4 brain bleeds and I can tell without educational training but only by what I have learned via my own research that he has many retained reflexes. Now Im trying to find someone in my area to focus on this.

      OT here! Not everyone possesses the same skill set or education. This education is only starting to make it's way into OT base education, as our scope of practice and patient population is extremely vast. I hope that you found someone to help. If not, Harkla has a youtube channel and available education that may give you some guidance.

    Still see the reflexes in children over the age of one because the central nervous system is not really mature.

      Stand with arms out front and turn the head. The arms should stay straight and not turn with the head.
