Because of this, you’re right; they need to make sure they listen closely to the US and give heed, for fear of ticking off the Biden administration, thus the US. On the other hand, listening to the US is not going to bring about the defeat of Hamas, but the defeat of Israel; and many more Israeli civilian and soldier’s lives will be lost as a result. Yes, I've seen that too; fortunately many people saw that interview as it went viral. But both the journalist interviewing her and (it appeared) some other people around her ended it very quickly, as soon as she started saying Hamas was taking all the aid. The IDF is made up of reserves. Inexperienced soldiers given high ranking positions. No idea what they're doing. Not seasoned. Straight out of high school and shoot em up video games. Friendly fire is not being even a quarter reported. The IDF tanks running over their own, shooting their own and bombing them. It's not friendly fire. Morality is founded on reciprocity I have always thought. Neurologists actually demonstrated we all have "mirror" neurons that can make us feel, if we were to be in smby else shoes. Small kids naturally imitate the behavior of others around them as normal and moral. So in dysfunctional families, the child can adopt a bad attitude, not knowing any better. Talmud says "thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself". Is this limited to just Jewish neighbors? There is also revenge and the Talmud teaches "an eye for an eye" as the "law of retaliation". As an American Jew who grew up in Israel, I agree 100% that Israel needs to do what it needs to protect its civilians and reduce the chances of this happening again. The rest of the world, to include the US, needs to pound sand. No one has the right to tell Israel how to defend themselves. If the shoe was on the other foot, America would do everything in its power to eliminate the enemy. No one is telling Ukraine to stop fighting, so why can't they all support Israel in the same way.

I agree. How did they end up getting their own UN agency, anyway? The world was still full of refugees at the time UNRWA was formed; why were they the only group that got their own agency and the special "ability" to pass their refugee status on to their dependents? What was so unique about their situation, as opposed to, say, ethnic German refugees in Europe who had been driven out of the Soviet Union, or refugees in India?
UNRWA was formed because Ben Gurion refused to allow refugees to go back to their own villages. The West couldn't force Israel to follow UN resolution on refugees. Thus the west can only do the next best thing. The West have to set up UNRWA. If UNRWA is abolished then the refugees have to go back to Israel proper.

We need to establish the Emigration office on the border with Ashkelon, to assist all Gazans who wish to leave permanently, provide them administrative, diplomatic, financial & logistic assistance to safely leave. You're correct; when Jordan was created it was very clear that this new nation was for Arabs only, no Jews allowed. Any Jews that lived there had to leave. When India was partitioned by the British, at around the same time, there was a mass population transfer - of Muslims from India, and Hindus from Pakistan - of a scale that had never been seen before in history. And of course it was horrible and ugly, but ultimately it was better than the alternative, which would have been never-ending civil war between these two groups that just cannot live together peacefully. When the British were still in control of Palestine I believe they should have taken that opportunity to made it crystal clear that there was going to be a Jewish state there whether the Arabs liked it or not, and facilitated - by force, if necessary - a massive transfer of all the Arabs who could not accept that inevitability to Jordan, which of course had been the greater part of Palestine. Instead, they just appeased and appeased. The partition plan and offering the Arabs a state - when they already had one, in Jordan - was a disastrous error. They should have known the Arabs wouldn't accept it, because their goal was never another Arab state; it was preventing a Jewish state, of any size. Offering the Arabs half the land that had been promised to the Jews just emboldened them. What the British did to the Jews of Palestine was one of the worst betrayals in history. Maybe not all of it was intentional; perhaps the British made the fatal error of thinking - as so many still think - that the Arabs were coming from the same mindset, of rationality and compromise and fairness. But they weren't; they still aren't.
They’ve not the only country not allowed to win their war. The US made sure the US lost almost all of its wars after World War II. The US fought to a stand still truce in Korea and lost the war/police action in Vietnam and the war in Iraq, as well as Afghanistan.

A lot of the hostages families have met with Biden and say he’s been so wonderful. But maybe they are just so focused on their kids being taken hostage they want to see the best in Biden. She speaks Hebrish! There is a dialect of religious Jews in NY and Israel who mix in a good amount of Hebrew and Yiddish to their English and refer to Jewish concepts and holidays so that they are not understood by outsiders.

Although no one is publicly talking about it yet, my guess is that the war strategy starts with Gaza, once complete moves to neutralize Hezbollah, then focuses on Judea & Samaria. Timeline-wise, it would be prudent to wait until Jan 20th 2025 before doing anything significant in the West Bank if you get my meaning… I can imagine the conversation with the small farm owner went something like this: “Hey, if you can wait until 2025, we’ll give you back 10x the farm you had before."

Dear Ms. Glick. As an Ozzie watching Israel's issues unfold, I despair at our countries and "the west's" response. That said the are those who know that Israel is fighting an ideology, Islam. I would like to suggest you interview some of those fellows to set the record straight and to help the West to know the truth, that Islam is as big a threat to us as you. You are just the main current focus. I am sure you must know (of) some of who I speak. If not, I am sure I could point you in the right direction. Exposing Islam's core principles is the long-term solution to the Middle East's problems.
I like the beginning bringing everyone up to speed. And just like this guy says: It's not a secret. Hamas is the official government of Gaza and every humanitarian aid will therefore be seized for their fighters. Why else would anyone even try to stop that aid? Israel at the start of the war should have made plans for all the women and all the children under the age of 15 exit Gaza into Southern Israel into an organized tent City. The Israel could have starved the men into submission well they did combat with them. In this way the food distribution to the children and the women would have been more equitable with Israel in charge. All the UMRA PEOPLE IN ISRAEL NEED TO BE CHARGED WITH THE CRIME AS HAMAS OPERATIVES.
The problem with that scenario is in a wartime situation one is not responsible for facilitating the safe movement or wellbeing of civilians on the enemy's side. That is the responsibility of their government. If Hamas does not give a sh*t about their own citizens - and clearly they don't - there is nothing Israel can do about that, and it should not be their worry. As an American Jew who grew up in Israel, I agree 100% that Israel needs to do what it needs to protect its civilians and reduce the chances of this happening again. I agree. How did they end up getting their own UN agency, anyway? The world was still full of refugees at the time UNRWA was formed; why were they the only group that got their own agency and the special "ability" to pass their refugee status on to their dependents? What was so unique about their situation, as opposed to, say, ethnic German refugees in Europe who had been driven out of the Soviet Union, or refugees in India?
UNRWA was formed because Ben Gurion refused to allow refugees to go back to their own villages. The West couldn't force Israel to follow UN resolution on refugees. Thus the west can only do the next best thing. The West have to set up UNRWA. If UNRWA is abolished then the refugees have to go back to Israel proper.

You're correct; when Jordan was created it was very clear that this new nation was for Arabs only, no Jews allowed. Any Jews that lived there had to leave. When India was partitioned by the British, at around the same time, there was a mass population transfer - of Muslims from India, and Hindus from Pakistan - of a scale that had never been seen before in history. And of course it was horrible and ugly, but ultimately it was better than the alternative, which would have been never-ending civil war between these two groups that just cannot live together peacefully. When the British were still in control of Palestine I believe they should have taken that opportunity to made it crystal clear that there was going to be a Jewish state there whether the Arabs liked it or not, and facilitated - by force, if necessary - a massive transfer of all the Arabs who could not accept that inevitability to Jordan, which of course had been the greater part of Palestine. Instead, they just appeased and appeased. The partition plan and offering the Arabs a state - when they already had one, in Jordan - was a disastrous error. They should have known the Arabs wouldn't accept it, because their goal was never another Arab state; it was preventing a Jewish state, of any size. Offering the Arabs half the land that had been promised to the Jews just emboldened them. What the British did to the Jews of Palestine was one of the worst betrayals in history. Maybe not all of it was intentional; perhaps the British made the fatal error of thinking - as so many still think - that the Arabs were coming from the same mindset, of rationality and compromise and fairness. But they weren't; they still aren't.

Now these people have no place to live and call their home. They are dependent on the government to put them up temporarily in hotels and to feed them and give them the bare necessities to live. That’s the very definition of a refugee. Why has the US and EU and the UN demanded humanitarian support for these thousands of Israeli refugees? It’s such a one sided double standard! Citizens will suffer just as peaceful Israelis did Oct 7th. It grieved my Pappa when his mission was to fly over Japan and drop bombs. He said, "I always worried about the innocent." America had a clear directive. He followed orders. That plagued him until his bombay was emptied to hand load stretchers of GIs into his bombay. They were from the infamous Bataan death march. Their condition told a story. From then on, Pappa dropped the guilt.

The IDF should be overseeing the aid disbursement to the displaced Gazens. Take away the responsibility from the designated UN agencies who are deliberately feeding the HAMAS fighters.
I understand your point, and it would show that the Israelis are far bigger than the people they are fighting, but isn't it odd that we would even think for a second that one party to a war, not the party that even started the war, should take responsibility for the enemy civilians? That does not mean Israel wants them all dead, but they are still not on our side in this matter. Ukraine would not be asked to feed the Russians, do you see why the suggestion is a bit off? And one day in the near future we probably will see IDF soldiers doing just that, and still being blamed for "genocide."

She speaks Hebrish! There is a dialect of religious Jews in NY and Israel who mix in a good amount of Hebrew and Yiddish to their English and refer to Jewish concepts and holidays so that they are not understood by outsiders.
I understood her reasonably well and I don't know any Hebrew. When she used Hebrew words she asked Caroline to explain them in English.
The lady in pink may speak with an accent but is not hard to understand. She has many admirable attributes as a professional ,a mother of many children and soldiers among....and also very feminine and pretty.🌷

Although no one is publicly talking about it yet, my guess is that the war strategy starts with Gaza, once complete moves to neutralize Hezbollah, then focuses on Judea & Samaria. Timeline-wise, it would be prudent to wait until Jan 20th 2025 before doing anything significant in the West Bank if you get my meaning… I can imagine the conversation with the small farm owner went something like this: “Hey, if you can wait until 2025, we’ll give you back 10x the farm you had before."

Dear Ms. Glick. As an Ozzie watching Israel's issues unfold, I despair at our countries and "the west's" response. That said the are those who know that Israel is fighting an ideology, Islam. I would like to suggest you interview some of those fellows to set the record straight and to help the West to know the truth, that Islam is as big a threat to us as you. You are just the main current focus. I am sure you must know (of) some of who I speak. If not, I am sure I could point you in the right direction. Exposing Islam's core principles is the long-term solution to the Middle East's problems.
I like the beginning bringing everyone up to speed. And just like this guy says: It's not a secret. Hamas is the official government of Gaza and every humanitarian aid will therefore be seized for their fighters. Why else would anyone even try to stop that aid? Israel at the start of the war should have made plans for all the women and all the children under the age of 15 exit Gaza into Southern Israel into an organized tent City. The Israel could have starved the men into submission well they did combat with them. In this way the food distribution to the children and the women would have been more equitable with Israel in charge. All the UMRA PEOPLE IN ISRAEL NEED TO BE CHARGED WITH THE CRIME AS HAMAS OPERATIVES.
The problem with that scenario is in a wartime situation one is not responsible for facilitating the safe movement or wellbeing of civilians on the enemy's side. That is the responsibility of their government. If Hamas does not give a sh*t about their own citizens - and clearly they don't - there is nothing Israel can do about that, and it should not be their worry. But it's easy enough to say that on principle, much harder to put into practice, when you have a moral conscience and the whole world is hyper-focused on your conduct and condemning you for the slightest moral failing.
Plus a lot of them probably wouldn't have left as they support Hamas.
